By showcasing work by local artists.
By exhibiting art that requires skill and talent instead of putting a bunch of random objects in a room with a video projection .
By allowing artists to give workshops for aspiring talent.
By engaging with the local community, which it completely doesn't. Ask around if you don't believe or disagree.
Tbh, it felt like a ruse to get government money and pocket most of it. I would strongly recommend avoiding it

Cobh Tourist Office is now situated in the beautiful arched building once known as Market House. It is located directly behind the Lusitania Peace Monument, in Casement Square and at the foot of the colourful West View (Deck of Cards). The office is well stocked with maps, brochures and information leaflets. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. If you need local or provincial information, look no further. Excellent service.

Visited with the boss (wife) last week. The weather was beautiful but very cold so we decided to call in on our way past. They had a display of hanging baskets in one of the rooms and the way the light caught them exaggerated the colours. The room was basking in sunshine and the views out over the harbour were fantastic. The architect must have had a great eye for g light because the light quility was magnificent.

The royal yacht club used to occupy this building. It is now a art museum, the day we were there some of the rooms were being redone and the art work was missing. It is still worth walking through.

I love this building and was lucky enough to attend a fund raising event during the summer, it's a stunning building lots of history in Cobh. There are different exhibitions on and it is always worth stepping in to have a look around.

There were two rooms, one of which had two paintings in and the other a strange projected series which left me very confused. It was free and attached to the Visitor Information Centre so proved useful for free maps but not an inspired selection of art....very sad looking staff as well.

This building is a beautiful and the views are amazing across the bay and there are art exhibitions and a tourist office in here.The tourist office has maps of the town and lots of information on Cobh & on local activities as well as maps/guide books etc. They also give information on places to park for various activities and is well worth a visit when in Cobh

The Sirius Arts Centre and Tourist Information building is located just to the west of Cobh Pier and Park, right on the waterfront. The art displayed is mostly contemporary (which isn't really my thing, but many will enjoy it more). The Centre is closed on Mondays. The Visitor's Center has a lot of great information on Cobh and the area and is a recommended stop.

I visited the Sirius Arts Centre last Monday. The building is beautiful. One part of it is the tourist office. They are very helpful in the tourist office.
The was a very interesting exibition on. An artist called Richard Proffitt.It was visual written and aural in content. I liked the drawings and found the experience very interesting.
The atmosphere is very good there and the views out on to the water are amazing.

This building once housed the Royal Yacht Club, now the oldest operational yacht club in the world. It now houses the Cobh Tourist office and plays host to many cultural events and concerts throuout the year.
