Had an amazing walk with the Alpacas. Good briefing from the young ladies conducting the tour, and lots of interesting information about the animals. I was paired with Alan and he was a lovely little fellow. They were all very well behaved in general (maybe a slight spitting incident occurred but that was between the Alapacas!) Lovely area to walk around down by the lake and in the grounds of the estate. I would recommend to wear good walking boots and comfortable clothing. Don't need anything with you apart from a phone to take selfies with the Alpacas. Me and my boyfriend had so much fun, I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to have a great experience, and pet some beautiful Alpacas.

We had an amazing time on our walk with Ruth, Ralf and Ziggy. Both were so gentle and calm with us in the walk which put my partner at ease as she was unsure about them. Ruth was friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. The grounds of the estate are beautiful and it was nice to see Keswick and the fells from a private stretch of shoreline. 100% would recommend this on a trip to the Lakes. Can't wait to come back and take the Llamas out for another walk.

Our guide Ruby was lovely. I was paired up with Ziggy, an albino alpaca with big blue eyes and a personality to match. This despite him also being deaf which didn’t stop me chattering away to him. My husband walked Theo who was quieter but still very much a character in his own right. I have balance issues so use a rollator to help me walk. We went on the trail that is suitable for anyone with difficulties. This was so fantastic as I’d wanted to walk with an alpaca for a while but rough ground is no good for me. So it’s great Alpacaly ever after caters for people with problems too. I know Chris Packham did a very similar walk as we did and he had Ziggy too. Any way we were in the lakes for a week and it was the highlight of my week. I’ll never forget meeting the amazing Ziggy

We went walking with Alpacas Dave and Howard yesterday, and our guide Ellie. All were great. If you’re looking for something different to do then try this if you like animals. The Alpacas are adorable. And you'll be supporting a not for profit organisation that was set up to rescue unwanted Alpacas. An excellent experience - we're looking forward to trying the llamas next.

Walking with the alpacas is a lovely way to spend a few hours. Our alpaca guide was Aimee, who shared her excellent knowledge with us. It was a totally enjoyable experience, and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks also to our gorgeous alpacas, Ralph and Howard, who behaved immaculately the entire time.

Spent a Sunday afternoon walking with Ziggy, Ralph and some of their friends around the Lingholm Estate. Our guide, Lin, was brilliant - providing information about the Alpacas and taking numerous photos. It really is very relaxing walking with these guys – time we won’t forget. Thanks Ziggy and Ralph.

Had a brilliant day here from the cafe that sold amazing food, then went for a treck with George the alpaca he was georgeous , guide was brilliant I now know loads things about alpacas can’t wait to come back had an amazing day thank you so much

I absolutely loved this experience, we did the private alpaca walk and it was amazing. The host, ellie, was so lovely and knew so much! Deffo recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Do you still do the meet and greet in the rain? Wanting to book but we live so far away we may not be revisiting and a voucher wouldn't be great if it were cancelled due to rain

Please note, the weather around our sites can be very unpredictable and changes day to day often contrary to weather forecasts, although we always do our best to get you off on your adventures, looking after our animals and yourselves is our first priority. We can’t control the weather and we understand it can be disappointing, but cancellations due to bad weather are at our discretion and they’re to make sure that everyone is safe and happy. If we need to cancel we will either offer to re-arrange you to a different day within the next 12 months or provide a gift voucher.

Bring appropriate footwear for the weather. We had a sunny day and were in walking shoes. When you go down to the lake, the alpacas might have a little dip, but we just stayed on the rocks, you don’t have to go into the water if you don’t wish to
Hi, I do not drive and would have to take the public transportation. May I know what is the best way to make my way to Alpacaly Ever After? The Lingholm jetty by the Keswick Launch is closed for repairs.

We drove too so not much help to you I'm afraid. I think Keswick is closest town so maybe see connections to there. Well worth the visit however - great day.

I am planning to have a walk with your alpacas, this coming early december.
1) I want to know, the best (also cheap) route for me if i come from Oxford.
2) And if i need to stay one night before the tour, where is the best area (nearest) to the farm.

The cheapest way to travel to the alpacas is to drive takes 4 and half hours from oxford , fuel cost £40 - 60.00 .. there is hotels in the area ... also yo can see the baby alpacas in the gin distillary just down the road 20 minute drive .

Yes! I walk with a cane and it wasn’t a problem at all! They also do walks adapted to wheelchair users! You just have to tell them beforehand so they know.
