Het geheel mag wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. En je moet nu ook voor een aantal opgietingen extra betalen wat jammer is. En het eten is ook flink duurder geworden, maar wij ervaren het nog steeds als een heerlijke omgeving waar je echt kan relaxen!

Very mixed!!
Door open despite fairly cool weather in the morning, so atmosphere too cold!
Most hot tubs do not turn back on (buttons missing or not indicated correctly)
Half the saunas were not ready when they opened.
We had booked because the reviews said they spoke French.. lie?! Neither at the Reservation by phone (we thought "it can happen"), at the reception this morning, no French. Restaurant? Neither and worse, no English either.
It lacks infrastructure for me.
Okay, there are many kinds of sauna... that's all! There are not too many indications from other parties and when trying to inquire, well, impossible to understand because they do not even speak English or French!
The relaxation room.. watch a video of animals hunting and killing others, very relaxing 🤦🏻♀️.
In short, for a fairly high price!
A very bof burger, bolo pasta that tastes of water, two softs, parking and entrances with Bongo, it costs about 170€ for two.

First, I'll start with the positive message. Last year we were on holiday at a campsite in Limburg and because it was cold, we decided to book a day of wellness at Thermae 2000. Because the weather worsened we decided to go home early anyway. We contacted Thermae and we were able to convert our booking into a gift card that we could always use. Also the coming year, so that was really very well arranged.
We had high expectations, after all, Thermae 2000 has the name. But it was disappointing. Old crap, tiles that were broken in the steam room. I expected several baths, as seen before in other saunas. Something for everyone, so to speak. But it was just one big pool, which came out with a rapid. Furthermore, there was an intimate couple in the pool and nothing was said about this. I just hope "the flakes" didn't float through the water.
Thermae can be considered as faded glory and has not moved with the times. The restaurant was very expensive, but friendly staff. The smoking area outside was also well arranged. I won't book a wellness day here anymore, there are much nicer saunas in the Netherlands.

Hartelijk dank dat je de tijd hebt genomen om je ervaring bij Thermae 2000 met ons te delen.
Het is fijn om te horen dat je eerdere ervaring met onze klantenservice positief was en dat het omzetten van je boeking in een cadeaubon naar tevredenheid was geregeld. We streven er altijd naar om flexibel te zijn en het onze gasten zo gemakkelijk mogelijk te maken, dus het doet ons goed dat dit in jouw geval goed is verlopen.
Het spijt ons echter te horen dat je bezoek dit jaar niet aan je verwachtingen voldeed. We begrijpen dat de staat van onze faciliteiten, zoals de kapotte tegels in de stoomcabine en het gebrek aan verschillende baden, teleurstellend voor je was. Jouw opmerkingen hierover nemen we zeer serieus, en we zullen ze intern bespreken om verbeteringen door te voeren.
Wat betreft het gedrag in het zwembad dat je hebt opgemerkt, het is absoluut niet de bedoeling dat dergelijke situaties zich voordoen. We zullen dit onder de aandacht brengen bij ons team om ervoor te zorgen dat er beter toezicht gehouden wordt, zodat al onze gasten zich comfortabel voelen.
We waarderen ook je feedback over de horeca. Hoewel het fijn is te horen dat je het personeel als vriendelijk hebt ervaren, begrijpen we dat je de prijzen als hoog hebt ervaren. We zullen dit punt meenemen in onze voortdurende evaluatie van onze dienstverlening.
Het is jammer dat je ons als "vergane glorie" beschouwt en dat je geen plannen hebt om nog eens terug te komen. We hopen dat je misschien in de toekomst van gedachten verandert, maar begrijpen uiteraard je beslissing.
Nogmaals bedankt voor je eerlijke en gedetailleerde feedback. We wensen je veel plezier bij je toekomstige wellnessbezoeken en hopen dat je nog veel mooie ervaringen opdoet.

Content que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour, c'est toujours bon à lire !!!
Les frais de stationnement sont un coût que nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas influencer en tant qu'entreprise. Le parking voisin et le parking général situé de l'autre côté du pont d'accès appartiennent tous deux à la municipalité de Valkenburg.
Bien que nous comprenions votre commentaire, nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas changer cela.

Happy wellness. Not a super modern look, but has everything you need for a day in the sauna. Mainly - given the temperature - used the baths. Very nice that there is so much outside, both cold and hot baths. Saunas seemed clean and there are plenty of relaxation areas. Restaurants are fine and staff are very friendly. There is also a large sunbathing area, with enough shade. That was nice on such a hot summer day.
The staff keeps a close eye on whether people do not reserve cots with their towels. If they see this, they - quite rightly - hang your things on the corresponding coat rack. This unfortunately led to an unpleasant situation where we were approached by a fellow wellness guest with a raised voice, who immediately assumed that we had touched her stuff and demanded that we as 'antisocials' quickly leave her place. No matter how many times we tried to explain that the beds were free, it didn't seem to come through. Staff and fellow guests stood up for us, but we are shocked by this. We would never just touch other people's stuff and we discussed that with this guy later, after she realized that we had laid down on an empty bed in good will. If we wanted hassle around cots, we would have gone to an all-inclusive in Turkey or Spain. Wellness is just supposed to be relaxed and being kind to each other is part of it. It may be good to point out to guests at reception that sunbeds are not yours and that the staff can clean towels in their absence. That saves unnecessary commotion.

Horrible!

We have been coming here since the opening (ahum we are already old) and a little from the thought of love makes blind we are devoted to this place with the most beautiful view in the Netherlands. Fortunately, we left time behind to spice up the interior with orange boxes and other knickknacks. But now (also as a hotel guest) we are very struck by how savings are being made here. Under the motto environmentally conscious, the rooms are no longer cleaned unless you request it yourself. But even after our request, the room is not cleaned and when we discover that in the evening that is no longer possible. The rooms themselves are quite soberly decorated and the professorial air conditioning in the room makes a lot of noise but does not do much. The restaurant in the hotel is now closed, but also in the sauna part only 1 of the 2 restaurants is open. The other is closed because it's too hot. It is quite extraordinary, because over the past few decades that bar has not been necessary. Nowadays it closes at 10 o’clock, we remember the time when there were evenings with night swimming until midnight, but of course does not produce enough turnover. The sauna facilities are still top notch and the garden is beautiful. Too bad they painted the outdoor pool mud brown. I hope one day they bring that back to the original white, because that was beautiful. The same applies to the interior of the steam room. Was once virgin white. Now with all kinds of brown tiles and (after crumbling of it) with kind of rubber layer over it became a bit messy. All with its various styles introduced with all modifications appreciate it becoming a bit incoherent, while the original excelled in that everything was 1 whole. An expert who knows how to make this one whole again holds gold, because this place is unique and we will undoubtedly keep coming here,

Hartelijk dank voor uw uitgebreide feedback en voor uw loyaliteit aan ons wellness-center. We waarderen het enorm dat u de tijd heeft genomen om uw ervaringen met ons te delen. Op deze manier kan ik hier werk van gaan maken natuurlijk.
Het spijt ons dat sommige veranderingen in onze faciliteiten en dienstverlening teleurstellend voor u zijn geweest. Het is zeker niet onze bedoeling om op comfort of kwaliteit te besparen. Uw opmerkingen over de schoonmaakdienst, de inrichting van de kamers, en de faciliteiten nemen we zeer serieus. Ik ga zorgen dat dit wordt besproken tijdens de wekelijkse evaluatie van ons management team.
We zijn blij om te horen dat u nog steeds kunt genieten van de unieke ligging bovenop de Cauberg. Ik ga deze mails naar de desbetreffende afdelingshoofden doorsturen. Denk hierbij dus niet alleen aan de facalitaire dienst maar ook ons restaurant- & wellness management.
Nogmaals dank voor uw feedback en voor uw voortdurende vertrouwen in ons. We kijken ernaar uit om u in de toekomst opnieuw te mogen verwelkomen!

Overall our day in the sauna was perfect. There is a wide choice of saunas and many swimming options. When we were there it was quite busy, so there are no sunbeds safe by putting the towel of other visitors. That is also something difficult to maintain as a company, I think.
It was a pity that we had booked a massage that appeared on arrival to have already been. After later filing a complaint about this, we received compensation for it. That's really cool!

Fijn dat u, ondanks enige mindere ervaringen, toch uitstekend heeft kunnen genieten van onze wellness!
De ligbedjes die onnodig bezet gehouden worden is een kwestie waar wij als bedrijf actief mee bezig zijn. Recent hebben wij de ligbedjes voorzien van stickers waar de huisregels m.b.t. de ligbedjes nogmaals op vermeld staan. Schroom bovendien ook niet een van onze personeelsleden aan te spreken mocht u toch iets opvallen dat u graag bespreekbaar wil maken.
Wij ontvangen u graag nogmaals hier op het topje van de Cauberg. Voor nu wens ik u een heerlijk ontspannen weekend en graag tot weerziens!

It's not the way it was. I’ve been coming here since 2008 and although the saunas themselves are still top notch, they’ve probably let things crumble due to lack of staff.
You can only go to bread and bites for lunch. No lounge bar for tapas, not a disaster in itself but the dining kitchen is limited.
At restaurant sensece you can only go from 3 pm but then for a mini snack because the real kitchen only opens at 5 pm. Not conducive to the wellness feeling.
The hot tubs inside need a lick of paint but otherwise the baths are fine.
What used to be just in the price was the singing bowl session, honey sauna but now you have to pay extra for that. This is not the case with other thermal baths.
As a hotel guest you no longer have culinary indulgence in restaurant Pure such that if you want to eat dressed you have to go to the city which we have done. It takes some away from the experience. For a 4-star hotel, breakfast may be more extensive.
We'll come back for a day but I'm sure that's all because many of their assets have fallen away.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Outdated warm rooms with a separate air conditioner on wheels that cools moderately and causes E2 interference. Crappy restaurants. Not much menu choice available, main restaurant Pure closes at 8 p.m. instead of midnight. Restaurant Sense has a limited menu and many items are not available here either. Seedy bar closed for renovations.

Bonjour à tous, je vous explique je vais aller au therme ce mercredi mais j’ai des cicatrices au jambes et surtout au niveaux des cuisses ce serait pour savoir si les shorts noir DOMYOS moulant serait accepté en expliquant la situation en arrivant ?

Acheter hier 2 entrées par Groupon pour l'anniversaire de mon mari. Lors de réservation pour samedi 10 juin par un collègue néerlandophone il m'a firme que c'est jour là le port maillots est obligatoire c'est que nous convient très bien.malentendu car on visitant le site je constate que c'est permis uniquement le mardi et le premier week-end du mois. Pourront nous changer la réservation pour un autre samedi avec le maillots obligatoire??? Merci

We are planning to visit on Saturday 27th August 2016. Whilst I realise that there is no swimwear in the sauna - can you wear a towel? Also can I bring my 12 year old daughter (just water areas)?

Oui il faut un maillot classique mais il y a une partie maillot l'autre patrie avec les sauna est naturiste mais le mardi c'est maillot partout et l jeudi naturiste partout

Hello, I am planning a nice 2 days visit with my pregnant wife. She would be about 4-5 month pregnant.
Do you receive pregnant visitors? Is there any restrictions by the hotel? Is there any special massage programs for pregnant woman?
We also want to know if March is a busy time for the spa, ideally we want to avoid the most crowded season for safety concerns.

In the weekend it can be crowded. We always look on google for
to know the dutch school holidays.But we always book in the week.
