No words.. Simply heaven... And there you can see "temple of Angles" as this was told by my grandfather. And if you are planning to do camping and staying for night then you must have group of 8-10 persons or more...as it is isolated place..rest you can see my pictures I am going to upload. n by the way I am from chakrata (jaunsar bawar) 😄.. and please clean all the plastic before returning to home

This place is just beyond to moila top. It has a small entry to go inside. A torch or flashlight is necessary because it's dark. People who have a fear of small or closed places should not visit. Good place to visit when at moila top

As part of our bird viewing excursion we visited this place near Chakrata. Jeep travel to this place is thrilling. Once we reached a spot where hundreds years of Dak Bungalow built by British are there.
Along this bungalow a road to Budher caves passes thru. As we start climbing up road whirled thru Pine tree jungle. This makes you feel comfortable and you can climb rest of kilometres as well ( I believe it's total 2.5 KMs walk). Once we reached on top.. I was totally surprised to see the beautiful view in front of us. It's totally lush green grassland as good as God has done beautiful landscaping. We had our packed lunch there. Then we went to see one ancient temple build by local adivasies. I could not see any ideal inside the temple. But lot of horns of small animals as well as coins are nailed at the entrance. It was amazing experience. Then just few hundred feet from temple there was this famous Budher caves. It's entrance is quite small. Without torchlight you shouldn't enter in the caves. Total darkness such that u can't see ur own hand. There is a small hole on the way and you have to turn back from that point unless u have rappelling gears. Those who fear darkness as well as small space, shouldn't go inside.
Once u r inside u will notice wonders of nature.

Heaven on the earth is here, this is around 2.5 km Trek and take around 1.25-1.75 hrs. But this walk is with full of breathtaking view and feels like heaven on earth. Very safe to walk till end point. This is little tiring Trek but you will enjoy here 200%.... I will not prefer this for Senior ppl since trek will fell them more tired. also you can take small small halts anywhere you want to reach caves.

The trek and the view is something I had never seen before. Spic and span, and truly in the lap of nature - this place is heaven on earth. Enjoy the journey/trek and the views but don't look for 'caves' as the name suggests because that's where you'll be totally disappointed.

Nice place once you reach at the top, its about 8500 feet. Caves can be seen from outside and you can dare to go inside . Its cool from inside and could not spot any birds/animals inside, however there was some water. Mind you head once you are inside. Amazing place with meadows.

can all the side seen done in one day? we r planning to stay chakrata for two days? is that enough? we will go with family...
Skrevet 2. juni 2017
Tiger Falls and Chilmiri Neck can be done together. You can visit Kanasar on one day. You can visit the nearby Temple on a hill top near Chaani Churani. The last day you can consider Deoban / Budher Caves.
