The tomb should be more prominent since he was the Raja there. The tomb should be inscribed in marble so that the tourists and public know that he was the Raja of Mursidabad.

Very few visitors even in this crowded season

The tomb of siraj lies on the other side of bhagirathi. The tomb is placed amid tombs of other royal family members. Place is clean and maintained, which is obvious, considering the limited footfall compared to his palace, and consequently there is less of littering. The place is calm and cold. You will like it.

Siraj ud-Daulah, was the last independent Nawab of Bengal. The end of his reign marked the start of British East India Company rule over Bengal. His last rest place is located in Khosh Bagh. The place is maintained well. A historic place must see..

The Tomb of Nawab Siraj Ud Daulah is located in Khosh Bagh along with amny of his family members.I couldn't stop a tear rolling down my cheeks while thinking about the Late Nawab...his only folly, he trusted his lieutenants a bit too much!!!

The tomb of Siraj is located in Khoshbagh along with other members of his family. The place is very well maintained. A must visit while on a trip to Murshidabad.

The tomb of siraj ud dollah is on the other side of bhagirathi river which you need to cross by boat, or else there is another way, cross the bridge by tour car and then follow a narrow road of red mud to this tomb. The waterway is preferable as the road is disgusting. The tomb doesn't have any glamour or glitter at all, a very simple erection and wouldn't even be visited by people at all had it not been the tomb of this famous nawab.

The location of this tomb is on the other side of The Hooghly, while all the happenings had occurred on the Murshidabad side of The Hooghly. Very unassuming, but interesting

One of the most important Historical places of India; requires Governmental Attention

This is the Tomb of the Last Independent Nawab of Bengal, Nawab Siraj ud-Doulah. The British rule started upon the defeat of Nawab Siraj in the Battle of Plassey. Nawab Siraj lost the battle due the betrayal of Mir Jafar. Nawab Siraj is widely recognized as a great patriot throughout the Indian sub-continent (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh). He is respected person too.

This tomb is situated in the Khosbagh area of Murshidabad . It requires no entrnce fee. The garden inside it is well maintained. Howver, it does nt have 108 varities of roses which used to be here.Tourists need to cross the river Bhagirathi from the Sadarghat of Lalbagh (Murshidabad Municipality). Fare per person is 2 Rs to cross the river. Then tourist need to walk 2-2.5 km or to take a auto.

This tomb is not maintained properly, neither the area is very known to the tourists. If the place was in any other country, there would be a bridge on the river. The river is not too wide. The Government should pay attention (it is maintained by Indian Government). One cannot identify this tomb he/she does not know Urdu. Others tombs do not even have names. Tourist need to remove shoes in some parts of this place.

Such an Important tomb but very much neglected by ALL authorities

Tomb of Siraj is on way to Kiriteswari Temple; but we were very disappointed to see the way this very loyal Nwabab has be treated by ALL authorities ; Authotities MUST put all effort to upgrade the up keep and maintain the Tomb
