Trek is around 3 km which takes around 1.5 hrs to reach at the top. It’s a mountain which is trekked but the view on the top is worth all. It takes around 4 hours for the complete journey & sometime at the top. Swings installed at the top is amazing. There’s a midway cafe which is just located at the point from where the steep trek starts. So those who don’t want to go for steep trek can go till there & enjoy the view.

We were lucky to reach here on 31 Dec 2021. The mesmerizing beauty left us spellbound. You can see Shimla on one side and Kullu Manali on the other. From Kinnaur Kailash to Manimahesh, Pir Panjal range to Churdhar, Pin Parvati to Dhauladhar and Hanuman Tibba you can see all ranges.

Overall an hour hike out of which 30 mins is killer steep climb!
The view at the top is completely worth the climb.
Top it up with Maggi and chai :)

The location of this property is spectacular. One can witness orange yellow hues of the sky and you may feel you are living between the clouds. Waking up to the mountains and this beautiful view is simply unforgettable. The staff and other volunteers are also very prompt and helpful. This place is definitely value for money as the location beats it all. A special shout out to Arijita who made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was Firgun Cafe - a small quaint cafe located just 5 minutes from the Hosteller. One can also be a part of jamming sessions with Indie music playing at the background. The food was excellent and had great variety too.

My friend and I decided to go to Jalori pass. We started from Jibhi at 8am, boarded bus for Jalori Pass. After reaching Jalori pass(with in an hour) we were in a dilemma whether to trek up to Serolsar Lake or Raghupur Fort. Serolsar is more popular but we decided to trek to Raghupur Fort.
The trek to Raghupur Fort is a 3 km hike from Jalori Pass, through oak and rhododendron forests. The way is covered with lush green oaks and rhododendrons. Took around 90 mins to reach the top, there was no one else on the trek except a few locals who were going to a village which diverts from the trek. There isn't clear marking for Raghupur Fort trek. We did get lost after 1km and that's when we met a local who showed us the way to Raghupur Fort.
The view from the top is just awesome. The weather was good that day, meadows look like stunning resemble to 'Windows XP Wallpaper'. The valley view from 12000ft is scenic.
Overall a good hiking experience, easy one except for a small part of the trek which is a bit steep.
Note:- No source of food or water on the way so need to carry the same from Jalori pass. Also phone network is weak after half way up.

Lesser visited compared to Serloser lake but just as amazing. Starts of going through the dark forests gently and then hits a high ascent with multiple foot paths, almost all eventually lead up to rolling grassy top. There isn't a fort as such but a pile of rocks neatly stacked up. The 360 degree view from the top is why this place should be climbed. Not a hard climb

Located near Shoja in Himachal Pradesh, the Raghupur Fort offers a 360 degree valley view that stretches as far as the Dhauladhar ranges. Also known as Raghupur Garh, the Raghupur Fort is approximately a 3 km trek from the Jalori Pass and is a ruined fort with hardly a few walls standing. The walk to Raghupur Fort passes through a lovely forest and has spectacular views of the mountains.

Such stunning views demand a price and I literally had to work my ass off to get to this place at an altitude of 3.5 Km above the sea level ... half the pathway is steep and most of the way I was like “God! Don’t let me slip” ... But the moment I reached I was like, What is this Place? ... I felt like a child and was running around the velvety terrain 😄 ... Coming to the place “Raghupur Fort”, only ruins remain now but it provides a spectacular 360 degree view of the entire Kullu and Mandi Region and it is truly and highly worth it, highly recommended #himalayas #raghupurfort #mountains #trek #peaceful #outoftheworld #stunning #views #heavenonearth #livelife #kingsize #enjoylife #travel

The hike was super and the route challenging with some decent uphill grinds. Not too long or hard but my Fitbit registered 200 flights of steps. The fort is quite ruined but you are climbing to see the views and it is well worth it!

Attraction-Trek, Scenic views
Distance- 3.5 KM
Trekking level- Moderate
Hi,
We 4 friends visited this place on 20th Oct 2018, we started our trek from Jalori Pass at 9:45 AM, there are no proper trails or marking for this trek. So,after 1 KM of following trail you have to leave the trail and hike on the steep mountain. We followed the trail and ended up trekking extra 1.5 KM and hiking steep mountain from back side of fort. Though it was a different kind of experience.
The breeze and view on top is breathtaking, you will get refreshed after reaching the top. It took us 1.5 Hours to reach the top, return trek was easy and it took 45 mins to reach Jalori pass.
Though fort is not too big, there is only a temple type structure and stone boundaries. But reaching on top and sitting there for an hour made our day. It was worth.
