We used FS Tours for our airport transfers and a full-day wine tour. The bookings were easy, we were well informed about who would pick us up and the exact timing. We let FS Tours recommend our wineries day itinerary and all of them made for a perfect day. They made the reservations when required and coordinated with the vineyards. We would highly recommend FS Tours.

We were fortunate to have as our guide and driver Richard. What a wealth of knowledge and the charm to go with it. Thank you Normfor organising everything that ensured that 3 generations of 1 family had a fabulous day out.

May I commend Richard, our driver, from the penguin/seal half day tour? He was such a gentleman and gave us an excellent tour. His commentary was interesting, the stops on the way were superb and the timings were perfect. He is also a very good driver! Seeing so many penguins, so close, was certainly a highlight for me after my week in Cape Town.

Met by Richard, who was well presented and spoke excellent English. Car (BMW) was spotlessly clean. Richard was incredibly patient in answering our many questions about South Africa, apartheid and its history. Throughout the tour he pointed out places of interest and made roadside stops along the way to allow us to take in some of the fabulous scenery/photos. Our tour took in Houts Bay, where caught a ferry trip to see the seals (great but smelly) and then across country via Chapman's Peak to Boulders Bay for the penguins. All in all a really great trip which I would thoroughly recommend.

Norman was very responsive and helpful while organizing a day tour of wildflowers, and the prices are reasonable. Though a single, I joined a group tour. Our driver and guide for the day knew the area well, and was able to show the highlights and adapt the schedule and stops to the group's pace and preferences. The vehicle was also clean comfortable, and provided drinks and snacks.

A truly great trip with Joe Our guide to Boulders Beach Penguins and stops on the way inc Hout Bay where we stroked a massive male sea lion who was part of a group of 4 swimming in the bay and being fed by one of the localas and trained to be stroked.Also Simonstown was one of the stops quaint old dutch influnced town with great views and fish and chips.Thanks to Norman for changing our trip day at such short notice (due to a shark diving trip cancellation) you came up with 5 stars there.

We scheduled two days with FS Tours for a car and driver. Norman could not have been more helpful in coordinating the booking. Our driver, Richard, was fantastic and took us to tons of wineries, making sure that we got to visit as many as we could in one day. The next day he took us to see the Penguins, seals and the Cape of Good Hope. He did a fantastic job of telling us a great deal of information about our surroundings. Later he helped us book a restaurant for dinner that was amazing. We could not have been happier. Thanks to both of them.

We advised this company that we would like to do a trip to seals by boat and see penguins and were quoted R650.
We were picked up and taken to Hout bay for boat trip at 9am - on arrival we found all boats full til 12 as they hadn't booked it. We then went to boulders bay having booked the 12. Got to penguin area and had to pay for entry! Only had short time as had to get back to hout bay where we were told the boat ride was "optional extra" but penguins included
So, we basically had a glorified taxi at a cost of £590 and our whole day messed up
Seal trip was fun and cheap
Should have hired a car!

I am sorry that you had a disappointing experience. It seems as though the fact that the ferry was fully booked and a misunderstanding over the entrance fees contributed to your disappointment.
We have never before experienced the boats being full at Hout Bay and from this we can learn that in future when guests book we will find out whether they would like to take the ferry option and pre-book for them.
With regards pricing it is made clear on the website that the ferry is for your own account and the penguins entrance fee is included in the price of R650. You state that you paid R650 and also 590 pounds ( I am sure that this is an error on your part and it should be R590 ) in your reveiw.
As I understand it you paid R590 and if that is the case the penguin entrance fee ( R60 ) was subtracted from your total cost of the tour, which is correct as advertised on the website.
It disappoints me that that your day was not as you would have liked - and again I apologise for that.

My wife and I had the pleasure of using FS Tours during our recent visit to Cape Town. Norman Stevens, the owner, was very accommodating to our needs and provided us with very capable driver-guide named Brandon. We had a tour that included the Fur Seal Rookery and the Cape Penguin Colony. We would definitely recommend Norman and his drivers to anyone who visits Cape Town.
