We stayed at a lovely spot in a barn conversion. This is our second trip here and we absolutely loved it there.
Our Jeni was very attentive ensuring we arrived safely, checking we have everything we need.
The views over the cape are beautiful and the sunsets are something to be seen. During both our stays last year and this year the weather was perfect but for the occasional rolling mist. This did not spoil anything.
The walks are idyllic and a must for this area of Cornwall. It’s worth taking your bikes too. We did a few rides around the area.
The local town St Just is a small bustling place, the people are very friendly, the food very good and plenty of shops for any necessities.
We can’t recommend this place enough.
We will definitely return.

We visited Cape Cornwall for an explore while on holiday in Penzance. Parked in the National Trust car park which was cheap and has toilets although these were closed as we visited in the evening. Went for an explore by the rocks and sea, there was a small tidal pool to look in before heading back up to the tower on the hill where there were great scenic views all around. We were lucky enough to spot two small snakes at the top, maybe because it was quieter in the evening with not many people around at that time. At the tower there is a plaque that tells you that Heinz bought the cape to save it from developers and giving it to the people of the UK. Cape Cornwall is the only cape in England and one of only two in the UK the other being Cape Wrath in Scotland. Fascinating and beautiful!

Beautiful scenery!
A wonderful place to just relax or take a walk on the coastal path.
The steak pasty and sausage roll from the Café were great!
Could happily have sat for longer looking out to sea.
Who needs to leave England for a holiday when the sun is shining in a place like this.

What a beautiful spot! Not touristy like Lands End (don't bother going there, it's like a theme park), just rugged and scenic Cornwall at it's best. Climb up to the tin mine engine house chimney and look out over the roaring Atlantic. Walk some of the coastal path. Or take a convivial evening dip in the crystal-clear water, seemingly a local secret. No proper beach, but a stunning rocky cove dotted with pretty boats and surrounded by towering fern and moss-covered granite stacks. Say hi to Annie, NT institution, guaranteed to give you the warmest of welcomes. How does she manage to be so happy? I want what she's having!

Stunning view - a must see to view the coast and avoid the commercialism of Lands End. Steep walk down to the point but worth it.

This is a walk with views of the coast and disused tin mines.

There’s the usual coffee hut on the car park at £3 a cup (nowhere to sit out - drink in the car) and the obligatory parking charges £1/hr - free parking for Nat Trust members.

Better value than land’s end

I echo the comments about the lady in the NT car park. Extraordinary service! Even sympathetic when we Explained that we have been longtime members of the National Trust but have left due to the current policy of the NT being far too woke.

Cape Cornwall is stunning and a trek up to the stack is well worth the short walk. Be warned though that the path to the left which says steep ascent…. Is exactly that!

We sat at the top for some time enjoying the views and watching the sea and the gills.

Highly recommend a visit here. We visited Cape Cornwall today in quite blustery weather so the waves were fabulous along with the dramatic scenery. The visit was made even better by the fabulous National Trust lady, Annie, who greeted us like long lost friends and was so helpful and welcoming.
Yes the roads down are narrow typical Cornish back roads but well worth it and far better than the rip off prices of £7 to park at Lands End where we drove in and straight out again!

Beautiful spot. NT woman greeted us at the car park with a warm welcome - a true ambassador! Kiosk does good coffee and cakes. A short walk to the summit is rewarded with great views and such a feeling of space.
