Great Sunday lunch in every respect!
Terrific selection of food, attentive and helpful staff, nice location and a very good atmosphere.
Went here for my dear Mother's 90th birthday lunch with all the family from 3 months to 90yrs! and had a wonderful, memorable time!

The hotel room is modern, well equipped and clean and suited our needs for an overnight stay. I found that the duvets supplied are too small and fall off many times in the night. The TV had a malfunctioning connection fault, the bedside reading light was intermittent and the safe was closed and locked when we arrived. A more thorough check on all the rooms facilities is required in addition to the general cleaning regime. However, a very good location for golf and social events.

Awful start to finish
Utterly terrible experience. Arrived after an 18 hour day, on the road since 4am and told despite my booking confirmation that they didn't have my reservation. This resulted in a 20min hold with my travel management company who discovered that I was booked they had made an error. Eventually was given a room after a good 30 minutes of messing around.
Asked for a table for dinner, no problem I am told. Turns out it's bar food only in the week as the restaurant is only open Friday and Saturday night. Bar food is 15 quid for a burger 5 for chips and desperately poor form for a venue that charge what they do.
Made do with a takeaway from a local pub on deliveroo.
Wouldn't stay again, very very disappointing for the promise from the website.

Cannot fault the staff. We arrived late and had to call the night porter via the phone on the front desk. He arrived promptly, and had us checked in within minutes. Room was spacious, bed was VERY comfortable, and the shower was AMAZING!! Breakfast was lovely, arrived relatively quickly, and my eggs were cooked to perfection.
Overall, a lovely night in a lovely location. Will definitely stay again!!

Stayed two nights whilst visiting in the area. Have used The Lodge previously.
Accommodation is excellent at a good price. Food is available all day in the Club House with a reasonable menu. The Staff were very helpful and clearly the whole complex is well run and maintained. Will certainly be back as needs must.
Despite recent weather the golf course looked infine shape.

The room was clean and very stylish in black and silver and bottled water was supplied. The shower in the bathroom was large with an enormous shower head
The buffet breakfast was hot and plentiful. I would certainly recommend it.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Lodge here at Kingswood Golf & Country Club for a wedding. The beautiful surroundings and venue hall as well as the decor and styling was only outshone by the level of service by the staff. Friendly and accommodating and always happy to help to ensure you were getting the best of your time whilst staying with them. Every staff member I came across greeted me with a smile and asked if everything was ok and if I needed anything. The room was sublime and clean and all facilities great. I’ve paid more money to stay at places that boast they’re something they’re not, but Kingswood really delivered! A great stay and lovely place. Thank you so much again.

Stayed here Thursday, 5th of August and Friday 6th for two nights, beautiful location, the rooms were spotlessly clean and very inviting the only thing that we found was the food for breakfast both mornings wasn’t hot enough it was tepid, one of our guests had a full breakfast and it was lukewarm on the Friday morning and on the Saturday morning it was a buffet style where we had to wait 20 minutes for scrambled egg, by the time it arrived we had nearly eaten our breakfast so we went without, we ordered hot drinks, they came individually with quite long intervals in between on the Friday morning I suppose that’s because of it being a machine. All together the staff were very friendly and helpful but we did feel that they were a little bit lost sometimes when it came to getting the food out and keeping it hot.

To play at Kingswood Golf Club is something every golfer of any ability should put on their bucket list. you will love every second of it from the moment you arrive, play the treat that awaits you being the course and the hospitality in one of the many lovely lounges that beckons you after your game. It is idea for group of golfers, couples and a solo player, the only disappointment you will have is if you don't go and play at Kingswood Golf Club.

We met here to celebrate a 65th wedding anniversary and had a really excellent time in great part due to the amazing food and brilliant service that we received during our time there. Really recommended as a location to host an event. Thank you for all that you did for us.

My daughter is getting married at Kingswood next year. One thing I forgot to check was the bar prices so we can decide how much we should put over the bar. Are the drinks very pricey?

We thought they were standard pricing. I don't drink alcohol but my husband had a glass of wine (the first glass was included in the deal done by the ar club). He didn't think it was excessive. It is such a nice place and we think that the food is better than any of the other local golf clubs.
