Heart of the Garden State
aug. 2021
Victoria is known as the Garden State. The capital, Melbourne, has many pleasant Gardens which would take a week to fully explore. A good place to start would be Fitzroy Gardens, which have many attractive features. The Botanic Gardens are spacious and easily accessible from the City. It's easy to spend a morning here.

Avoid a rainy day
jun. 2021
We visited during a typical Melbourne day. I’m surprised there hasn’t been anything done in terms of providing shelter. We had to run under a big tree just to keep dry. Still, it was a nice park, but better when dry and sunny.

Nothing special here
mai 2021
Quite disappointing with this garden, it looks like a random garden in my backyard. I drove an hour to come here but it is just a waste of time...

Not a must vist in Melbourne
jul. 2021
Not too bad but just a simple garden in Melbourne. Do not put too many expectations on it and it will be fine. A good place to walk my dogs and have a slow walk with my parents.

Beautiful Gardens
apr. 2021
Melbourne is fortunate to have so many wonderful gardens throughout the city. Some of the lovely gardens include Fitzroy Gardens, Carlton Gardens, Flagstaff, Botanic Gardens, King's Domain, Queen Victoria Gardens and many others. They are all beautiful and add to the attraction of the city. They are well cared for, have plenty of stunning plants, flowers and greenery, sculptures, water features, as well as space for many activities, picnics and so on.

Lovely walk through gardens. Well cared for, clean and tidy.
Pathways we aplenty. No need to walk across the grass unless you wanted too.

Melbourne’s green spaces.
feb. 2021 • Alene
Melbourne has a number of stunning open green spaces dotted around the CBD. Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens to the east, Flagstaff Gardens to the north-west and the gardens along St Kilda Road to the south. Very well maintained, clean, and inviting.

Well kept Gardens
mar. 2020
We were staying on st kilda road so took a detour from the city centre back to our hotel. The locals are lucky to have such beautiful gardens, water features and fountains. Still, I think the botanical gardens are better.

Melbourne's gardens are the glory of the Garden State
des. 2020
From the Floral Clock to Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne's gardens are a joy to behold. South of the Yarra River, the Botanic Gardens have a variety of scenic locales. The Tan running track , which circumambulates the Gardens, see part-time joggers rub shoulders with Olympians. The Fitzroy Gardens are well-loved by the people of Melbourne. They host Captain Cooks Cottage, among other features. At the west end of the city are the Flagstaff Gardens, the city's oldest gardens. Staff from the surrounding office buildings can often be seen playing soccer at lunchtime. The Floral Clock in St Kilda Road is a bit cheesy, but Melburnians have taken it to their heart.
