This is a must to see in Melbourne. It’s situated on a hill overlooking the city.it gives a detailed and sensitive reminder of wars that effected Australian soldiers and their families. It is beautifully located and it has very detailed accounts and pictures along with momentos. Was very moved. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

The Sprint of ANZAC Centenary Experience toured Australia to commemorate the sacrifice of Australia's men and women during W\rdl War I. The national tour wound up in Sydney in April 1917. The tour was a great success and renewed Australians' reverence for the forfeit of their ancestors lives in battle.

This afternoon we visited the Spirit of Anzac exhibition. It was interesting, informative and at times emotional, offering a very varied presentation from original film to lifelike reproductions of the trenches and personal stories of those who fought in the First World War. There were quite a few people there but everything was very well organised by friendly, approachable staff. One of the highlights was the short ceremony with the National Anthem, the laying of wreaths, a bagpipe Lament and the Last Post. A most worthwhile, thought provoking visit.

I really didn't know what to expect from this, it's an amazing exhibition with so much information, I felt very emotional at times 😓 I think all children should visit this as the ANZAC s should never be forgotten. My teenagers hopefully learnt a lot from this !!

A great informative exhibition that all the family should see. Have been to the Canberra War Memorial many times in past, and saw many things that I have not seen before

The exhibit is interactive and you are able to have extra information emailed to you after you attend. You are able to move through at your own pace. It is incredible and sombering. Very interesting to find out extra information about WWI that may not be well known. Highly recommended, best part is that it is free! The exhibition is estimated to take between 45 minutes to 1 hour to get through, but it took my family and I over 2 hours to get through it because we stopped to read everything!!! There is so much information very well presented. The audio voice-overs are really good to and are only activated when you reach the relevant section, very cleverly designed.

A wonderful exhibition. I found the whole experience so emotional. A very well organized event, very friendly and helpful staff. It was wonderful being able to take photos of the areas my grandfather was involved in but never returned from. I feel this should be a permanent memorial.

We have just visited the Spirit of ANZAC walkthrough experience in Toowoomba. It has a powerful impact as you are taken through the various stages of our country's involvement in WWI. From an early optimism about the war only lasting a few months, it progresses through the failed Gallipoli campaign and the battlefields of France and the Middle East. Personal stories, military artefacts, amazing imagery, and a superb audio soundtrack combine to make it a few moving experience. Please make an effort to see this when it travels to your area. Lest we forget.

Whist this exhibition has packed up and moved on, the memories are on my computer via the app that allowed me to save the dialogue as we walked through. This display of 100 years of the sacrifices of young men and women through their collections and photos. is cleverly arranged so you walk through the different sections. For any Australian that had a relative serve in the defence forces. This is a definite must see.
