The last time I went to this shop in Jan I wasn’t inclined to buy any cheese as it had all this plastic over it while displayed..
This time it didn’t have the plastic overlays and has a little fridge you can walk into.. so I bought some..
The 3 stars is just because the store needs a little bit of an update, especially compared to the other shops/ wineries that it shares Roche estate with..
And also the food you can order out back looked a bit random and I didn’t trust how good it would be as it’s a small window at the back of the shop..
The previous time I went here I had a gelato and it was nice.

We visited this shop as we love gourmet food, shop was cramped, messy and inside table was dirty. It wasn’t busy but we had to wait for ages to be served by an unenthusiastic staff member who’s face would have cracked if she had smiled. Overpriced product and underwhelming experience.

This is a great stop with a huge variety of foods available. We chose a couple of blue cheeses and some biscuits. the service was very friendly and helpful and the prices while a bit high were not as bad as some we have seen. If you are looking for cheese, biscuits, chips, sauces, jams, ice cream just about anything you are looking for this is the place for you.

Thank you so much for your amazing service today and the most delicious cheesecake we have tried!! (And we have tasted many)…
Incredible service as they custom made a cake for me requested on the same day!! Still a bit warm when I picked up!! My husband was super impressed with this for his birthday cake!!! Once again thank you so much and we will definitely be coming back over and over again.

Went to visit this shop when hubbies golf day was cancelled due to floods, splendid little hidden gem! The pink haired lady who served us was delightful and very informative about local cheeses, we ended up booking in for a tasting plate and went home with a full cooler bag of goodies. The gelato was also lovely, so much to choose from and such unusual flavours ive never seen anywhere else.

Coffee ground was terrible. Need to get a new supplier. Cheese was expensive and as extensive as Coles or Woolies. But three times the price. Bacon and cheese roll was delicious. Bit of a tourist trap

It's an excellent shop but tiny and packed way too tightly with food, wares, staff and customers. Always seems under staffed so no one at the door to check QR code compliance. Despite tiny floor space, customers were allowed to eat inside so had to take their masks off. Like most, we were desperate to get some food for home catering on holidays and we got in and out as fast as we could, wearing N95 and eye goggles.

Great little shop to explore, large variety of cheeses and the gelato was fantastic. The ginergbread and Nougat gelatos were really excellent. Would go back just for gelato .

We had the BEST hotdog 🌭 we have ever had today. The American Hotdog was the perfect balance of cheese sauce and soft toasted bun! So impressed. The gelato and sorbet was once again amazing and very well priced! Thanks for an a amazing experience.

Wanted a container of marinated feta cheese. had loked at McGuigan's but baulked at the price. The lady in this shop was was friendly, and the price was about $10 less. A huge display, well worth the visit.

I have taken my family there several times, my mother just recently, and at the front counter we have tried several cheeses before purchasing. The staff were happy to help and very friendly. Apparently you can just walk in and do tastings at the front counter like we do every time, or if you have a group large or small, you can book them in for a private tasting. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Wow! Despite my mother and I asking all sorts of questions about the cheeses' taste/qualities, the lady serving us made no suggestion or opening for a taste. Perhaps she was new. Incidentally saw no one else tasting in the shop. Thanks for the tip.
