The most incredible experience of our lives! From start to finish, we were well taken care of, particularly by our instructors Tony K, Kenny, Louie and Vova, making sure we were comfortable and excited for our jump. They also put hard work into each of our pictures and videos, letting us show off the incredible views of Melbourne to our family and friends. Couldn't recommend it enough.

AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. A MUST DO. We were a little nervous to start but the instructors did a great job making us feel safe. It was the most amazing experience and our whole group wanted to immediately do it again. I’m so glad I took a chance and booked this!

I was already super excited for my first tandem jump, but I was not prepared for how exceptional this would turn out to be! I jumped with Louis who was so kind and incredible that I was completely at ease and able to enjoy every second. Thank you so much Louis for making this the best experience of my life and for making this jump extra special! This one skydiving experience has totally won me over any bungee jumping moments :)
Everyone at Skydive Australia was friendly, fun and super knowledgable. You were all so welcoming and passionate, I cannot wait to be back for another jump in Melbourne. The whole process was smooth and I especially recommend to get the video & pictures!

It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life!!!
To calm my nerves, my instructor Vova subtly kept talking to me during the flight & removing my tight grips on parts of the airplane! Strangely it helped & I was not scared during the actual jump! the freedom one feels during the freefall or while gently swaying over the bay & the city, was absolutely beautiful !! Definitely a must do.

Really wish I could give a great review. My husband and I went skydiving at St Kilda Easter Saturday, and while we had an amazing time with the instructors, please, please, PLEASE do not leave your belongings in the lockers provided. I took my three rings off and put them in my bag, inside the lockers (as jewellery is recommended to be taken off). As it's based on a trust system, we gave the key to the staff to take care of as they said we couldn't take the key skydiving. Coming back, found that my engagement ring had gone missing. This has so much sentimental value as my husband went all the way to NYC to get it. This is such a bittersweet experience, such highs from the skydiving experience, to such lows. Anyways PLEASE leave your valuables at home if you do end up taking on this experience. I am distraught!

Wow what an incredible experience!
I must say I was sceptical about this experience from the very beginning, I felt very nervous and many times thought of not going through with the jump but I am thrilled that I did.
The instructor I was pairs with was Kev and he was AMAZING! He helped calm my nerves by making jokes, keeping up conversation and even singing whilst in the plane.
If you are ever thinking of going sky diving (or even if you aren’t), skydiving Melbourne is most certainly the place to go
And for those of you thinking about getting the photos and videos they were definitely worth.
Thanks for the amazing day and helping me through all my nervousness, doubt and uncertainty.

Booked in for my wifes 30th birthday weeks ago.
We were both nervous and excited from start til the end. And the peak was before jumping off.
Both our instructor, Kez and Igor were friendly and helped us calm our asses 😀
The staff were excellent and explained everything properly.
We bought the package with photos and videos. My wife's set of photos and video were great! Unfortunately mine was ugly as hell(my fault), as I cant contain myself😅
Will definitely go again soon and recommend to friends!

I had a terrible experience with my jump and my instructor. The first problem was minimum instructor’s communication with me as I told him this is my first experience (not any information from him). Second problem was my too tight leg strips left the big mark on my inner thigh with lots pain during and after jump which prevented me to enjoy the jump. When I asked my instructor about tight strips prior jump, he smiled and said this is normal. Finally, we jumped the second person but landed at least 20 seconds prior the first person. (I share my experience with four other friends who jumped with me but they haven’t had such experiences). After contacting the Skydive Australia, they supported their staff and said we had a successful landing and that person is with them for long time. ( they will talk to him)
I am recommending to re-consider your decision to jump with SkyDive Australia or find a good instructor (not long time career) from other suggestions including me below, as your most beautiful moments could turn to most painful 😥 and awful moments.
But in other hand, my wife had a beautiful experience for her birthday present with Clay. (Shad had fears from height). He was so friendly with amazing communication and Smooth landing. You made a wonderful memory for my wife Clay. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I highly recommended Clay and Vova ( my friend’s instructor).

Great team! My tandem partner was Igor, awesome guy who ended up having one of the coolest photo's I've ever seen. Would highly recommend this. This was my second skydive and definitely the better of the two. Views are unreal! Only problem I had was with my goggles, they almost came off but ended up just blocking my vision for most of the free fall, still an amazing experience though.

Where do I go to watch my daughter skydive? Do I stay where we drop her off at the centre or do we go to the beach? We have no transport and are travelling from central Melbourne in a taxi

I'm thinking of doing skydive during my time in Melbourne this coming Aug. Aware that the company has a strict cancellation policy, would like to know if the jump is called-off due to bad weather & I couldn't re-schedule because of other pre-booked plans; or leaving for other region/state (eg. travelling to Ballarat & Sydney after Mel), can I cancel the jump & get a full refund?
Also, is the package included insurance, or there is add-on charge for it?

Melbourne or even Australia is definitely a great place to do your first jump. It is cheaper than many places in Asia or in Middle Asia, aka Dubai.
Based on my experience with this company, they are very helpful from the front desk to their skydiving coaches. But you are right, they have a relatively strict cancellation policy. You will not get refund if you cancel your booking. Now here is the question - how long are you staying in Melbourne? Some people get addicted instantly after their first jump, like me, but time ran out and never had the chance to jump again before I left Mel. Go to their website and see how the booking goes. The weather is definitely a big factor. I couldn't do my jump on my sign-up day so I needed to reschedule it. Or you could call and check with them when you arrive to Melbourne. Some people just call to see if there's any spots available right on the day. Just make sure you check with them early. Another advice is sign up for slots in the early morning. Then you will have more time for any last minute changes such as undesirable weather or aviation events.
You have to purchase a package from the Australian Parachute Federation. If I remember correctly, buying the insurance was optional before you make your jump. Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help.

You do not have to book too far in advance. From my memory I booked less than a week in advance, maybe only a couple of days actually. However, I did book in the winter time and not the summer. Not sure if it would be busier in the summer.

Definitely not , its a safety as well as a commercial issue. The instructors are remunerated for each jump and additional payments are made for taking a video. You would be compromising both these issues.
