As a group of 16, some inexperienced, we enjoyed our hike on the Warren River Loop Trail. The trail is well-marked, but before setting out, and especially if one is inexperienced, one should read up on the trail. It's important to know the trail marker and follow it. We didn't and we walked an extra 2 km at the start.
The mossy vegetation gave an ethereal feel. It was early spring, and it was forecast to rain, but it turned out that only light showers wet us, and the rain added to the beauty of the experience.
The walk beside the Warren River was the best. Since we walked the loop clockwise, after parking at the Bicentennial Tree, which turned out to be badly-advised, we had to struggle on the climb away from the river.
There were several camp grounds and picnic spots, which would be welcomed by visitors, either coming in vehicles, or like us, I foot.
A must-do, and one of the best trails in the State.

We drove into the park on the dirt road but found there weren't many signposts or places of interest. There are better and more interesting parks in the area.

We took the heartbreak trail and stopped off at all the scenic places along the way including the Bicentenial tree.

Came here to climb the tallest tree with average fitness levels, not disappointed and the weather was good - attempted late afternoon, the view from the top was worth it.

I would go here rather than the Gloucester tree. There is more to see in the park and the Bicentenial tree is slightly higher than the gloucester tree. But really they are both the same. Facilities are slightly better at Gloucester though.
A lot to see. The Heart break ridge drive is worth the time. There are lots of spots to stop and explore.

Well worth the drive through here , good dirt roads among the old growth Karri Trees
with the Warren River accessible to stop and picnic in a few spots or camp in places like Drafty's.
The one way road is a great idea with viewing areas to stop and go for a walk.
You can climb the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree if you are game which looks amazing from the ground , quite a few younger folk were up there and said it was a great view with a decent sized platform at the top....Good to see the OHS PC Mob haven't stopped this kind of activity without a harness , helmet & waiver yet.
