This 20-minute flight was another highlight of our trip and worth every George Washington.
Many years ago, I had visited the North Cape Plateau and Globe via a bus tour. I don’t recall seeing any reindeer and thought the ride was a bit boring including the Sami stop. Because of weather, your cruise ship may not be able to dock or tender, the flight may be grounded or booked solid with cruise passengers. So we decided to reserve the Helitour North Cape Flight-Seeing through our cruise ship vs. independently.
After the short safety talk and donning life vests, we were escorted to the helicopter. Seating assignments are at their discretion for weight distribution. The headsets worked extremely well. You could hear each other talk unlike other rides I’ve experienced. While flying over small towns, the pilot pointed out the reindeer (those small moving white dots). We saw lakes, the Northern Cape with the museum building & monument and then headed back. Out pilot, whose name I could not pronounce, flew during the summer and fall and then takes care of his reindeer herd in the winter. That’s what I call firsthand experience.

Four people - Will be in Bergen on Sept. 12, 2016 arriving aboard Regal Princess at 10 AM and departing at 5:00 PM. We are looking for a short tour of the fjords. What do you have to offer? How close are you to the ship? What happens if we the weather is not good for a helicopter ride?
Thank you.

Dear Alice!
We do not operate in Bergen anymore unfortunately. I recommend you to contact Morten in Nord Helikopter instead.
For some reason i can not copy links in here, but search for nordhelikopter.no and "contact us" and then there is the form to the right that is for the Bergen office.
Of you ever come to the North Cape in Norway you should contact us for a helicopter trip up here :)
Have a nice vacation!
