This has to be one of my favourite places, the walk through the Lilly ponds down to the beach, and then the coastal walk, passing Barafundle Bay is unspoilt and simply beautiful.

Can't wait to be back there again.

WOW!!

Not sure I want to review this beach really?
Because Pembroke has some of the best beaches in Wales, but this is the absolute best, even beats Barafundle bay in my view as it has its own car park with a short walk down a path/steps (not for the less able I’m sorry). A safe bathing large cove with Caribbean type sand, yes, WOW indeed!!
Church Rock out in the bay is magnificent and appears to have the image of an Ogre.
Let’s keep it a secret tho!

Having walked the length of the lily ponds we spent a half hour walking around the beach. We saw Church Rock. Being a Saturday it wasn’t packed but it does get busy.

Our favourite beach. Lots to do. When the tide is out, there are lots of rock pools, climbing rocks/cliffs, walking to the next beach at Little Haven. When the tide is in, our two boys, 7 and 11 enjoyed jumping off the rocks on the right of the beach. Recommend to park in the main car park, towards the north. The one towards Little Haven is much smaller and older. Free toilet at the main car park and 40p at the toilet by the small car park. My son bought a bodyboard and shoes from the surf shop. The guy was ver helpful with choose the right board and giving tips to my son. He was also happy to replace the shoes which didn’t last the day on the beach. When we were there on 23 July, there was a young men at the main car park helping visitors wit car parking and general questions, not sure if he is a volunteer or paid by the local authority, he was brilliant with helping people and ever so polite, even at the end of the day.

Visited briefly on part of a circular walk from Stackpole Quay. It took about 45 minutes along coastal path past Barafundle Bay. Need to scramble over a few rocks to get down onto beach from the coast path but it's worth it. Lovely soft sand. Looking seaward you see Chapel Rock. There is a small pond at back of beach and dunes to the left and you have your back to the sea. I believe there may be a car park through the dunes but not sure because we turned right and walked around the pretty lily ponds.

One of a number of stunning beaches in the area linked by the coastal path. Good sized NT car park with facilities at the top of the cliffs

One of our favourite beaches, if you like expanses of golden sand with an unspoiled backdrop. The beach is quite flat, so a large area is washed by the tide.
Apart from the Coast Path, there are two ways onto the beach:
* Either park at the lily ponds NT car park in Bosherston and walk down to the corner of the beach,
* Or drive through Bosherston to the other NT car park at Trevalen and walk down the path. Please note that recently there has developed a major sandbank at the bottom of this descent, but there is a small left fork as you descend so that you can avoid the sandbank by walking through the dunes further across the beach.

Our favourite beach in Pembrokeshire, stumbled across it after doing the Bosherston ponds walk, and really glad we did!

A beautiful beach. Walking past the lily ponds you come to Broadhaven Beach. It can be very popular at times. A wonderful expanse of sands with great scenery. Enjoy...

If you park at Bosherton Lily ponds then walk to the far end it opens into Broadhaven beach, which is yet another popular beach on the Pembrokeshire coast and worth finding and relaxing at.
