There are seasonal exhibitions on the ground floor. During my visit it was exhibition about world mysteries and secrets, such as the crystal skull, the Shroud of Turin, Excalibur sword, etc. On the first floor there was another seasonal exhibition about playing cards and their history.
On the second floor there was a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of Olomouc and on the third floor you could find exhibits about fauna and flora. I found very interesting and not too common in the Czech Republic, that some panels with interactive sound elements on the third floor were described in Braille.
I liked an old pharmacy very much. There were real dried herbs and it smelled beautiful there. The museum is worth visiting, it is not big and every one can find something interesting there.
The entrance fee to the museum was 120,- CZK and to the seasonal exhibition 60,- CZK.
On the second floor there was a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of Olomouc and on the third floor you could find exhibits about fauna and flora. Olomouc měla to štěstí vystavovat dva významné exponáty.
Keltskou hlavu z opuky a křišťálovou lebku.
Obě výstavy byly úžasné viděli jsme ďábelskou knihu, meč ve skále a mnoho popisek k zajímavému čtení.Je to zážitek pro děti i dospělé.
Děkujeme za poskytnutí tak významných exponátů!

Vlastivědné muzeum vystavuje už jen do neděle 23.2. originál keltské hlavy. Je to unikátní exponát, který se běžně nevystavuje, natož mimo Prahu. Součástí výstavy jsou další exponáty (zbraně, šperky, kostra), informační tabule a krátké video o keltském osídlení u nás. Úžasný zážitek.

Vlastivědné muzeum v Olomouci je muzeum zaměřené na historii a místopis středomoravského regionu. Všem milovníkûm moravskych dëjin doporučuji muzeum navštívit.

Prohlédli jsme si expozici věnovanou orloji a ta byla hodně zajimava. Ve druhém patře je stálá výstava věnovaná historii Olomouce třetí patro fauna a flóra. Každý si našel to svoje. Výstavy jsou hodně nápadité a jsou zde místa na hraní pro děti. Muzeum oceňuji a doporučuji

I really enjoyed this museum. It has a lot of exhibits so give it some time. There is natural history - geology, plants, wildlife - nice to look at and not a lot in English. I think I most enjoyed seeing what Olomouc looked like in the year 800 or so - some buildings here today were still there back then.
I will say that most exhibits had touch screens you could set to English and stand in front of to read. This was very helpful, though not quite the same as signage telling you specifically what you are looking at. Some is labeled in English, some not. The history of film exhibit was 100% in Czech which was too bad but still fun to look at the old film projectors. I was the only one in many of the halls. There is a docent in each hall and I learned they can make or break your experience. One person walked next to me and tried really hard to explain everything in Czech. I understood very little but I so appreciated her enthusiasm and effort. Some left me alone. One followed me and stood and literally stared at me from 10 feet away as if she thought I would try to steal something. It made for an uncomfortable experience - I'm sure that was her job but a little less direct staring would have been nice. But by and large everyone was nice and helpful.
I really wanted to see the exhibit on the Astronomical Clock since the info at the Magistrat was all in Czech. But although it was listed in my English booklet, there was no such exhibit. I asked three museum employees and they all seemed baffled. All in all, totally worth your time and the entrance fee (120czk for main and special exhibit combo).

تأسس المتحف الإثنوغرافي في أولوموك في أواخر القرن التاسع عشر. أصبحت أول مؤسسة متحف مخصصة لمنطقة مورافيا. أولاً ، تم عرض مجموعات أثرية وإثنوغرافية في مبنى المتحف ، ثم تم توسيع نطاق المعرض. الآن يمكن للزوار دراسة بالتفصيل أكثر الجوانب تنوعا من تاريخ وثقافة مورافيا ، من خصوصيات الطبيعة المحلية إلى الفروق الدقيقة في حياة الأديرة.

I'm not 100% sure if everything's in english but this museum has a beautiful collection for history buffs and is run by friendly and professional staff.

Prohlédli jsme si nejen velmi zajímavou výstavu zlatých mincí z Uničova, ale také další velmi zajímavé stálé expozice muzea.

Muzeum jsem navštívila několkrát- jak stálé tak nové expozice a zaujal mě pocit klidu a neomezeného času,který mě ovládl v jeho prostorách- rozšíření vědomostí i odpočinek v jednom- co je víc?
