We booked half a day in early February 2023 and had an amazing experience. Manderson is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at finding and catching! We all enjoyed talking with him on the boat and learning more about the beautiful island. Manderson is also quite the farmer and we visited the Saturday Farmers Market which has fresh fish, fruits, veggies and crafts. We couldn't recommend anyone else on the island after experiencing a trip with Manderson. Thank you so much for an unforgettable time

Booked 2 Days on the Reel Catch for some fishing and a trip Cayos Cochinos. Booking process was very simple and The Captain and his wife Lisa are super nice people and very honest so no worries about anything at all. The first day of fishing was a super early pick up at 6am. We made it to the boat and after fishing for a few hours and catching a couple of Dorado and Tuna I hit the perfect storm of heat, hangover and being on a boat which for the first in a while we had to retreat to land because to be honest I was puking my guts up. We did fish about 5 hours though and Captain Manderson offered to pick us up the next days at 7 am to finish off the rest of our 8 hour trip. I have been chartering all over Mexico and Central America and never had that happen before. What a Class act his company is!! Of course we took him up on his offer and he pick us up at our hotel dock again and we fished 🎣 and cruised up and down the scenic coast of Roatan and caught a couple more Tuna for dinner that evening. So that was our fishing experience.
Cayos Cochinos was another story.
Instead of just canceling because of the rough seas For the second day we just kept in communication for the next couple of days until the seas claimed down and off we went on the 20 mile cruise to Cayos Cochinos which is nothing short of Paradise. It was my wife’s Birthday and The Captain had picked up a cake 🎂 and the Villagers and there children sang Happy Birthday to here and all the children got a piece of Birthday Cake which for my wife made everything very special. You really have to see Cayos Cochinos to appreciate the Beauty. Reel Island Roatan made it a memory that will last forever. Also the swimming and snorkeling are fantastic also.
So if you are looking for a no worries 😉 trip with class act honest people Reel Island Roatan is the way to go !!

Lisa was wonderful about setting up a surprise fishing trip for my boyfriends birthday, she kept in contact with me and even arranged an amazing birthday cake. Captain Manderson went out of his way and spent extra time making sure my boyfriend had a couple of catches then took to a restaurant on West End were they cooked it up for us. They really went the extra mile to make this a very special day for us💜we will only use Reel Island for any future fishing trips, thank you so much!

I went on a day trip and had a great time. Manderson is extremely knowledgeable and took us to the best spots around the island! The snacks that were provided were so amazing as well! The fruit was so delicious! You can tell this charter puts thought & effort in providing the best the island has to offer! We are definitely going to book with this charter on our future travels to Roatan!

I went on a day trip with Captain Miller & we caught a Dorado! It was so epic that I went again just to go snorkeling & a little more fishing & yes we caught red & black snapper! If you are looking for a charter, look no further because this was top notch! So good I’m heading back next month! FISH ON!
