We recently did our private 8 day tour starting and ending at Casablanca . We were picked up and dropped off at airport. Everything about the tour was amazing. Every tour guide spoke very good English and always right on time. We thoroughly enjoyed every stop, food , desert experience, our stay - riad/Hotel. Every tour guide had very good knowledge and could give us detailed tours. Everything was very prepared and planned before we arrived. The riad, hotel and tent stay was very welcoming, comfortable and clean . Our tour guide and driver very friendly and flexible. We had nothing but great things to say about the tour company and the people we worked with .

We started with the 8-day tour but were able to add and form it into exactly the itinerary we wanted. That flexibility and customer service was great about Moroccan Countryside. We appreciated the help from Said at curating a private trip with special accommodations that suited our interests, our accommodation desires and our activity requests. Whatever you want they will help you achieve it. We especially appreciated our driver Yousff, who was our driver most days and our our guide for many of those days. He was easy to talk with an was happy to answer all of our many many questions and help us understand his country. We loved our trip.

Booking was easy. Said was very responsive, answered all questions and the tour was exactly as described. Four of us traveled together seeing much of the country over a seven/eight day trip. We are all experienced travelers, but this was our first time in Morocco. The country, people, food, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. This is a trip that is much better done with a guide and Morrocco Countryside Tours was fantastic. Moroccans proved to be very friendly, easy going and made us feel very comfortable. We did not know what to expect traveling in a Muslim country, and none of us speak the native languages. Our guide and driver (Hasan and Youssef) answered all of our questions, served as guide and translator, educated us about local customs, what to expect, and were very knowledgeable of all the locations and sites we visited. After nearly a week together, we felt that we now have friends in Morocco as they were a pleasure to be with.
Our tour essentially did a loop starting in Casablanca to Marrakech,Dades valley, Erg Chebbi (desert), Fes, Chefchaouen, and Tangier. Each place was unique and different. Food was great throughout the trip. We did a lot of driving, but the driving was broken up by small stops on the way. These stops proved to be a good way to see some non-tourist spots and the drive gave us lots of time to discuss what we were seeing and ask lots of questions. Hard to say what was most interesting. We toured the mosque in Casablance which was great, otherwise not much in Casablanca. Marrakech was the most exotic and high energy city with a very vibrant medina and markets. The camel ride in the sand dune desert was like nothing we had ever experienced before, and felt like going back in time trekking through the desert in days past. We were shocked that a desert like this actually exists and wasn’t just a place created by the movies. Chefchaouen was absolutely beautiful and looked like an Arab Santorini but less hectic, less expensive and more laid back. We really enjoyed just relaxing and walking around this great city. Another unique and interesting experience was time at a hammam at one of the hotels. We opted to do this at a luxury hotel and thought it was a unique and relaxing experience.
One tip on accommodations. We opted for luxury accommodations which were a bit more expensive but well worth the modestly higher cost. We stayed in converted riads which were gorgeous. The rooms were spacious, and the service was excellent. These were some of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. After long hot days in the car and walking/hiking, it was great to have a relaxing room and hotel with spacious rooms, a spa if you wanted, and a bar usually with a view.
Overall this was one of the most interesting and enjoyable vacations we have ever had. Using a tour company is very much worth it, and Moroccan Countryside Tours was fantastic.

My husband and I were in Marrakech for business and then took a tour with Hassan as a guide and Youssef as a driver to the desert. Said was so responsive by email and tailored the trip to the time we had. There was a lot of driving involved but Hassan and Youssef made it fun and it didn’t seem like as much driving as it was. I’d highly recommend them! They were informative and stopped when we needed to. They even stopped at a grocery store for us when we wanted to pick up Moroccan sweets and treats as a rift for our kids.
One day we were supposed to go to the gorge but the road was flooded with rains from the night before, they improvised with other sites and it was perfect. Highly recommend!

My husband and I did a 10 day tour with Morocco Countryside Tours and it was AMAZING - truly one of the best trips we’ve taken in our lives. We started in Casablanca, then Rabat, Rabat to Chefchaoen, Chefchaoen to Fes, Fes to Merzouga (the Sahara), Merzouga to Dades Valley and lastly, ended in Marrakech. Favorites were the Sahara of course, Chefchaoen, and Fes. But we still absolutely loved every place we visited. We are SO happy to have trusted all these amazing reviews of this company. Everything was taken care of for us and they made it a totally stress free experience.
The experience in the Sahara especially is truly once in a lifetime. We spent 2 nights but it was a highlight and if you go to Morocco, you CANNOT miss it! I only wish we had 1 more night. Hamid took great care of us at the camp; such amazing, kind people who manage the Moonlight Desert Camp. Hamid, thank you so much for everything - we truly enjoyed the food, the music, and your hospitality. Said, the owner, who we finally got to meet in person after a whole year and a half of planning our trip, was so warm and welcoming. We had some bad weather in the Sahara; lots of rain but it definitely didn’t ruin our time. Said gave us the opportunity to ride the camels a second time when the weather cleared up.
Youssef was both our tour guide and driver our entire trip - He is THE BEST!!!! He gets 5 stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ He made our experience so comfortable and stress free. And most importantly, we always felt safe with him. Before the trip, I was particularly worried about the long car rides and thought it would be exhausting but honestly, you barely notice with the breaks taken in between. Plus, the rides were pretty comfortable and relaxing. We really enjoyed spending time with Youssef; he also welcomed us into his home to meet his family which was so special to us. Whatever we wanted, Youssef made sure we got it. Such a great, genuine guy and now, friend - Dear Youssef, you are welcome to visit us anytime and we hope to be back to meet you again!
Thank you ALL for your wonderful hospitality. Morocco is truly an experience we will never forget. And Morocco Countryside Tours are the people you need for the BEST experience ❤️

We had a great time! Said was very responsive to my many emails and questions while planning the trip, and our driver, Hassan, was wonderful. He answered all of our questions, was always on time, and made our trip effortless! Our tour guide in Marrakesh was also very knowledgeable and nice. I'd recommend this agency to anyone.
We also asked to stay in a larger room at one hotel and this was accommodated with no issue. Overall, we felt safe and very well taken care of!

We are so glad we booked this 10 day tour with Moroccan Countryside Tours. It was an amazing experience that exceeded all our expectations. The tour company was able to tailor our itinerary in the northern regions and coastal cities, due to the heat of the season. We saw so much and experienced the country in a way we never could have on our own. Yussef was the most excellent tour guide and a really nice guy. He was adept at showing us and teaching us about the country, being flexible and catering to our particular needs. We were lucky to come across the Fantasy of Horses just outside Fes and spent a memorable afternoon in the throngs of the races. Everywhere we stayed was beautiful. The food was great. We had so much fun and didn't want it to end. We will have to return another time to take in the beauty of the dessert with this tour company with Yussef as our guide, Inshallah.

Amazing trip! 2 adults and 4 children ages 5, 10,11,14. We all had a great time. We always felt safe and we could relax without having to worry about traveling or hotels or finding food. The van was very comfortable for the driving. The hotels were very nice and the food was delicious. We loved the desert and camels. Camels were very friendly unlike many people think. Breathtaking Sand dunes and sunset. My favorite was the music played around the fire at night under the stars in the desert.

Said,Bahim, Youseff were over the TOP !
We had the best tour anyone could ask for. They were knowledgeable, polite, friendly and very accommodating in anything and everything we asked for. Plus much more! We visited many beautiful places. Some of our trip encluded High Atlas Mountains , Todra Gorge, Ksar Ait Ben Hadou ,Dades Valley, Sunset camel ride to the Sahara Desert Erg Chebbi, Mid Evil Market. Macro Fossiles Kasbah Errfoud, Bollywood, Berber family showing us their beautiful hand made rugs. Henna Tattoos. We even went on a Hot Air Ballon. It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you so much Countryside Tours.

Morocco x 1 week: Fes-->Erg Chebbi-->Marrakech. I almost never go with tour companies and almost always plan trips in my own, but it just felt safer and better in this case to go with a tour company especially since public transport etc is a bit tough to remote areas and I really wanted to make it down to an overnight stay in a Sahara desert camp (totally worth it)
Used Morocco Countryside Tours based on recx. Would definitely recommend them for many reasons! They took care of everything from A-Z, we booked our own airfare, had a few meals on our own and some free evenings to fill but otherwise they handled it all including guides, reservations, lugging our bags around, driving us everywhere etc. I'm glad we didn't try to go for this on our own like I would've been inclined to with a car rental driving 5-8hrs each day through mountainous passes and narrow roads along with many police stops whilst not speaking the local language is no longer my idea of an exciting time (read: now in mama mode lol)
Why I liked them:
- super quick, easy communications. I felt immediately that I could trust Said to follow through, and he delivered. Always very responsive throughout the trip via WhatsApp.
- seamless transfers between many hands (guides, individual riads, experiences) - I was impressed by how smooth everything went since it's not like we were with just one person/company. We had many unrelated folks participating in our tour but it felt instead like it was just one big orchestrated company since things were so seamless. That takes a lot of behind the scenes communication/reconfirmations!
- things we asked for got done quickly and on first ask - eg. I told Said when booking that we wanted a separate bed for our 5yo and in every place it was already setup for us when we arrived.
- our guide, Ibrahim, was very respectful and considerate of our needs. Repeat bathroom stops due to the child or flexing of the plans was taken well in stride. He took measures to save us some money whenever he could (eg. Find us free clean bathrooms instead of paid ones, took us in through a free entrance for a site instead of a paid one--not a lot of money in question, but I definitely appreciate being considerate of our wallet!)
- they were always always on time. We were usually running late but they never were.
- for the service they provided, I felt like their upcharge on the mid-range (called "upgraded hotels") hotel package provided good value. No touching our bags, no worrying about driving or checking transport schedules or buying tickets. We just sat and went and they took care of pretty much everything but a few meals which were easy to do on our own.
What I didn't like:
- since we always ate lunch wherever they brought us, we ate in way too many relatively expensive mega tourist traps. That being said, I think this is the downside of any tour company as it's happened to me before with other preset tour companies. I always wonder if they get a kickback for bringing us in to a specific place. I also think that we are given a tourist high price menu whereas the tour guides who are eating in the same place (no way they'd eat regular meals at this rate) get a local menu.
- they underestimated drive times by at least an hour each day on our written itinerary (not due to traffic or extra stops). This is minor but impacts planners and young kids who each hour makes a difference lol.
Overall because of the itinerary we chose required massive time in the car, we were exhausted but had a blast.

Hi. The payment doesnt include entrance fees and I was wondering to the tourists who have travelled Morocco, how much is the average entrance fee for the sites? I was told it was around 2 euros per person but I also got from another person that it was 30 euros. Does it just depend on the site? Thank you.

Its only about 10 dirhams for the Bahai Palace. I remember it was 150 for the Hassan Mosque. But depending on the sites you can just check online as well to be accurate.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if theres a noticeable difference from the standard tent or the luxury one with power and a shower. Is it worth the upgrade? Is the shower useful? Or is it a sounds great but doesnt translate well in real life kind of thing? Will definitely be booking with countryside.

It was nice having a shower and running water plus toilet in our tent. The water pressure isn't great, but I'm used to that traveling in Europe.

we paid a smaĺl deposit and then paid a couple of oayments when we were at a town with an atm as there is a limit to how much you can withdraw.

Hi, We're family of 4 and planning to make a trip for 3-4 days flying from USA to Europe. We're thinking of spending time in Morocco and do a combination of culture and outdoor activities. My kids are 13 and 17 yrs old so we need some adventure activities too. We're arriving in London 12/24 and leaving 1/5/17. We would like to spend few days in London, Italy and Morocco. Can you plan for 4 days of our vacation time in Morocco and advise when and where from Europe should we fly to Marakash or Fez etc. I'm looking forward to your itenary suggestions, costs etc. Thanks.

You could fly into Fez and out of Marrakesh and go to the desert and spend a night in a tent. It will be a lot of car travel and 5 niğhts would be less rushed. You need a full half day in Fez and Marrakesh with a guide but the highlight for us was the desert.

Hola Julie, somos una pareja de mediana edad de Barcelona. La semana del 10 al 17 de septiembre viajamos a FEZ.
