This is a perfectly wonderful 2 hour excursion. I learned so much, enjoyed the amazing scenery and a view of the falls from the Zambian side.

Die Fahrt mit der alten Tramp dauert cica 1,5 Stunden und führt von Livingstone zur Viktoriabrücke. Hier kann man mit einer Tasse Kaffee oder Tee einen Blick in die Schlucht werden. Nach dem Besuch einer Bilderausstellung zur Entstehungsgeschichte der Brücke geht es wieder zurück. Würden die Tour nicht nochmal machen, zumal auch der Preis dafür viel zu hoch ist

Ok. lots of info about the bridge. guides very informative and friendly.
quite a short ride for the money tho.

enjoyable however
given prices in victoria falls area this is in keeping...ie expensive for what it is.

You will see the same baboons walking through town so the idea that you will experience better sightings on this short tram ride is not true. The staff is pleasant but we paid $30 for the Bamba bus to pick us up and return us to our hotel when a taxi would have only cost $8. You decide. Yes, we did get to see the bridge and the Lookout cafe area with bungee jumpers, and to turn aside the persistent hawkers of copper bracelets so if that's on your list, this is your experience. I just felt it was too many money for too little value. Again, nice people. Morning trip

We did the Bamba Tram sunrise run as part of our planned activities with family/friends for our weekend in Falls for our Wedding and it was truly a magical experience! The staff, the tram, the route, the tea/coffee on the bridge for sunrise as well as the walking tour on the Zambian side with more information and history about the bridge and area- all of it- just superb!
This is by far the best value activity in the falls in my opinion and I hope that it is experienced by many many more people who visit the falls!

Amazing sunset Bamba tram ride! We weren’t too impressed by the early morning start (hotel pick up 5:30am!!) but we were greatly rewarded with the sunrise! It’s an additional $10pp for the pickup via the Bamba bus!
We didn’t really know what to expect from this but it was a short ride to the Falls Bridge where we stop to watch the sunrise whilst the guides set up refreshments. The guides themselves were lovely, very funny and make sure to interact and chat with everyone.
You then walk over to the Zambia side - this was special for us as my dad was born in Zambia and we hadn’t expected this! They then tell you about the history of the bridge itself before you head back!
A lovely morning out and made it back for breakfast at our hotel!

We went on the Bamba Tram on the advice of a friend who lived locally, and she described the Tram ride as a "must do".
I emailed the team, whilst still in London, and was promptly responded to by Lauren 1 week before my arrival to Victoria Falls. As we arrived the night before, I asked for directions from the hotel and finding the Tram was very easy and there was nearby parking (we hired our own car).
We opted for the Sunrise Tour which was just phenomenal. We were met by the most lovely team, Muku and Bradley(who we all rated really highly) and our tram driver. Muku and Bradley immediately gelled with my two sons (8 and 10 years old) and were able to captivate them with the history of the Tram. We made our way along the tram, went into Zambia and stopped on the bridge for a lovely cup of coffee, watching the sun rise over of the Great Victoria Falls. The power and force of the falls roared in the background and everyone got the morning sprays of the might Falls. It was such a beautiful and memorable experience that I will struggle to beat that for my children!!! The team were very knowledgeable about the history of the tram - as well as the centipedes that caught my sons' attention!!.
I would easily say that this is a must do. Certainly the Sunrise Tour is worth its weight in gold and I will remember it for as long as mu brain cells continue to function!! Well done team.

The Victoria Falls BAMBA Tram offers a unique Gourmet Dinner in the African Bush. The Tram leaves from Victoria Falls town and travels a rail line 45 minutes into the Bush where a Dinner Table is set. There a local Chef cooks and serves an excellent Gourmet Dinner as the African Sun sets. Our Group of 6 Americans traveling off a Cruise Ship were joined by 2 others from Connecticut so that we had the 8 minimum for the BAMBA Tram Dinner. A variety of wines and spirits were available and the Dinner was excellent! Boo at Victoria Falls Guide recommended this excellent Tour and we are very pleased with her suggestion.

It’s well worth getting up early for the 6am sunrise trip over the bridge. We were the only 4 people on board and really enjoyed it. Bradley the guide was excellent. Knowledgeable, interesting and very polite. Mr Walter the tram driver was also great. Coffee and iced team on the bridge was a great touch. Would recommend to everyone.

Disappointed to pay $50 per head and find the charge at the site was $39.00 per head. Trip adviser is a swizz
