This place is an absolute gem! Brian and Jacs (and their boys) were welcoming and full of excitement, enthusiasm and knowledge. After 3 weeks in Zim our two boys said this was their favourite place, and both are now nagging us to get a pet baby crocodile…
And Vincent in the “snake pit” had our entire group in stitches from start to finish! A really memorable and enjoyable afternoon that we absolutely loved!

Interesting trip for young and old, with opportunities to hold baby crocs and certain snakes. Friendly guide, who needed a bit of a prod for info... didn't expect croc farming for fashionable handbags etc . Includes sight of two captive lionesses...

I did the croc swim, & this was great.
The water was freezing, I'm glad that I didn't ask the temp before I jumped in...

Having been on safari for 2 weeks prior to our visit, we were told this was a crocodile sanctuary by our hotel and we were eager to learn about them and how they help crocodiles.
When we arrived, it was clear that it was the opposite of a sanctuary, and within 5 minutes we were offered the chance to hold a baby crocodile. Our guide was knowledgable but when we entered the snake house, it was clear that the animals' welfare wasn't the top priority. Some snakes were kept in areas of about 25 squared cm. There was a lone Bullfrog which had a small, dirty pond that it could only just fit in, and some snakes were visibly agitated. There were no basking lamps and we were told that one young snake died the previous week before because it was too cold.
We had nothing to say about the two lions in the small enclosure. The largest area for the adult crocodiles which were not being farmed was still too small, with around 10 in a pile in one area of sunlight. Our guide got a bit of crocodile tail and put some on the end of a stick and dangled it over the water, and proceeded to tease two or three interested crocodiles by getting them to jump up like they were circus animals. Most of the crocodiles were fed pellets, which clearly isn't going to be as nutritious for them as raw meat.
We then were told about the cage diving which looked ridiculous, and walked through the main 'farm' which consisted of concrete pens with up to 100s of crocodiles piled in to each one. We were told that they get skinned at around 5 years and onwards, and one crocodile of that age would barely make one handbag. We got out of this place as soon as possible.
I understand that the local people and businesses need jobs from tourists, but they could easily be a sanctuary and not a farm and work on releasing some crocodiles back into the wild.
We need to really do a LOT better than this rubbish.
If you want to support locals, go to their shops and craft markets, but don't jeopardise the welfare of animals.

After doing the "Crocodile Cage Diving" which is in a section
of "Crocodile Park" was taken for a tour of the "Crocodile Park" which is included in the cage diving fee's.Mr Sheppard , my "Crocodile Cage Diving" scuba guide explained me the various different crocodile's on display in "Crocodile Park".Saw a pair of dwarf crocodiles that seemed lifeless from the distance. Later we entered the Herpetarium situated within the crocodile park.Saw some of the rare snake species not normally seen in zoo's. Handled a non-poisonous Boa Constrictor.Excellent collection of snakes on display.

Lots of crocs, a few snakes and some lions.
Not really too much to see and a crocodile escaped when we visited which was quite scary.
Visit if you have done everything in Vic falls.

As a group of 3 vegetarians we couldn’t wait to get out of this place. It was a glorified crocodile farm and handbag factory.
There were snakes squeezed into tiny glass boxes with cardboard as ground and huge bull frog in a tiny little bowl of water.
In the farm there were hundreds of crocs ranging in all different sizes cramped in on top of each other. Since being on several safaris in Zambia and Botswana we now know that crocodiles are solitary animals so having them all squashed into a small pool isn’t pleasant for them.
They also have a crocodile diving pit where you can scuba dive with them. This just seems absurd ! I would not be rushing back here or recommending it to a friend.

This place is a complete hit for children. The tour guide was amazing. He was engaged and funny. He let us hold snakes and baby crocs. He let our child feed large crocodiles, which he may never stop talking about! We also watched as they fed two female lions. It is worth the visit.

It is a long time since I have visited here and it hasn't changed very much. You are given a guided tour of the facility and on the whole our guide was informative. You will certainly see plenty of crocodiles. There are also some caged lions to see and a snake display which I found particularly interesting. You have the opportunity to handle both (non-venomous) snakes and baby crocodiles if you wish.
By Vic Falls standards it is relatively cheap but more for overseas visitors. It is a little out of town so helps if you have your own transport.
You could rush round in less than an hour but I doubt you would need more than 2 to cover it unless you really found a special interest in what was happening.
They offer the opportunity to cage-dive with a couple of crocs. Not something that appeals to me personally.

If you like to see a lot of crocodiles and also help to feed them, this is a great place to visit. They also have a lot of snakes and the not harmfull ones you are allowed to hold in your arms. The guide seemed to have a lot of relevant info to share, regarding all the species.

Cost was just below 100$, they charge extra for them to take pics, or else you can bring your own underwater camera. However, their pics will be better, since you'll be in the pics.

The Croc ranch does have a snake park, but there is another (much better maintained) snake park in town too right next to The Three Monkeys.
