Fantastic experience in Namibia

We have just finished the "12-days Namibia Highlights" tour together with Wild Wind Safari tour operator. On our way home, we only wish we could go back again.
The organization of the tour was great and the overall balance cannot be better. There were 5 of us in the group and our guide, Darius, has undoubtedly contribuyed towards making the trip the best possible.

There were 2 of us at the beginning and now we are a group of 6 friends.

Thank you Philip and thank you Darius for helpings us experience a part of incredible Namibia. We hope to see you soon.

Ten days in Namibija was incredible and unforgettable journey. Everything was perfectly and smoothly organized by Wild Wind Safaries. Our guide Tulimo was helpful, professional and especially an excellent driver. He contributed greatly to our fabulous experience in Namibija.

A+ for Wild Wind Safaris' 12 day trip

A+ experience thanks to Philip, the planner for Wild Wind Safaris and our guide, Jephta. We saw all the fantastic areas. Changed itinerary to include 1 less day of safari (we had 1 1/2days and additional time at hotel watering hole) and added 24 hrs at the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF). CCF had lots of hands on education, time feeding cheetahs and seeing them exercise (run right by you!!) You must overnight at CCF's The Babson House, unbelievable and included a chef for dinner and breakfast!! Philip's planning was perfectly executed by amazing guide Jephta who threw in some fun side trips. And some good cooked worms!! Both know their people. We traveled 2,250 miles so bring books, music and small coins for bathroom stops. Customs will take carry-on rocks/minerals which we bought roadside, put in checked luggage. Daredevil sandboarding/quads (separate tour) gave us a defective quad which ruined a good time, manager did nothing. Skip them. Wild Wind & Jephta did us right. Thanks!

Excellent Tour Company for our Namibian vacation

Philip was very responsive right from when we reached out to him in February 2023 when we considered traveling to Namibia. He gave relevant inputs and helped customise a lovely 15 days camping trip across the whole of Namibia.

Right through prior to our actual visit to Namibia which was in October 2023, Philip was just a phone call or message away when I needed to discuss anything about the trip.

Coming to our actual trip, Tulimo, our all-in-one driver across all terrains, chef for all our meals, master guide who gave us such lovely insights about everything in his country - wildlife, tribes, nature, culture, history, people, and the list could go on….; was excellent through the trip. A bonus: he took some great and fun pics of us as well:-)

We strongly recommend Wild Wind Safaris as the “go to travel expert” for any trips in the region.

Great 12 days tour with Wild Wind Safaries!

We had an Incredible 12 days tour! Everything was very well organised, we hâd a strong and comfortable car, the accomodation and food were excellent (except for the hotel în Swakopmund). The itinerary was wisely done so that we could see & learn about the Namibian people, landmarks and wild life. Special thanks to Darius, our guide! Higly profesional & funny, mannered & warm, Darius contributed greatly to our beautiful experience în Namibia. We will come back!

I booked my trip to Sossusvlei with Wild Wind Safaris while I was still in New Zealand. I was travelling for a month before I landed in Namibia and just wanted to make sure everything was in order. The correspondence between the company and myself re the requirements and planning was prompt and efficient and I was 100% confident that I would have an amazing trip. I am a photographer, so it was important that I had a trip that delivered all that I requested and Wild Wind Safaris and the driver/guide George went over and above all my expectations. I would absolutely recommend this comany and when I return to Namibia, I will not hestite to use them again.

My best experience in Africa

Everything was perfect from start to finish. From the beginning of the organization when we had our first contact with the agency (Philip) to the last day when it was difficult to separate us from our guide Rambo. We had booked a tour for up to 12 people and in fact it was just the two of us with my friend. So it was like a private tour with our guide who was wonderful. It was a quick tour but so intense and interesting (7 Day - Namibia TOP 3 tour). We savored every moment: the beautiful scenery, the captivating animals, the accommodations, some of which were magnificent, the tasty food and above all the kindness of the people and the enriching conversations with Rambo. Thanks to Wild Wind Safaris and Rambo, my experience was incredible and I'll never forget it. I wish you the same.

We had the very best time in Namibia with wild wind safaris. Our guide was very helpful and kind during the whole trip. The communication with Philip was also kind and uncomplicated. I will always remember this trip and can highly recommend a booking with wild wind safaris.

Fabulous trip!

9 days' journey are one of the sweetest and memorable time in my life. In terms of accomodation and meal, they are fabulous and well-organized. What impressed me the most is the tour guide's sincerity, professionalism and care. The weather was very cloudy in the morning when I arrived at Soussusvlei. To a photo-taking fever, it was a big blow! Later, the cloud dispersed. He brought to another sand dune, Dune 46, which was rarely visited by tourists. He gave me a very wonderful gift!

Professionally, very well organized tour of Namibia

We chose this company from the pages of Tripadvisor. Philip was excellent in responding to our needs as we extended the 10 days tour to include Fish River Canyon and Safari. It was a 16 days program. Everything was set nicely, before we reached Windhoek. We reached Windhoek from Ethiopia, where we had a bad trip and we were very concerned,

But, this trip turned to be amazing! Our guide Tulimo picked us from the airport and till we got dropped back at the airport after 15 days, we had great time in Namibia, going around some 4000 kms !

Tulimo was well informed about all the Tourist and other information about Namibia. The evening chat we had, gave us lot of insights on the life and times of Namibia, the tribes, the socio political situations of the country.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We have done tours in most parts of this planet and would definitely rate, this as one of our best organized tour with an excellent guide !

Anyone, stranger to Namibia, can definitely choose Wild Wind Safari to have good times there

We are working with Philip to plan our next African visit to Congo !
