The Manaslu circuit track was one of the best trips of my life! Chandra and the team were amazing all the way through. Even tho the trip was not in the season time, and many villages were empty due to cold and snow, they managed to find people with their connections and arrange warmth and good food. At some point we were advised by the local police not to cross the pass because of meter of snow, but we still went because of the experience of the group. In the end there was maybe 20 cm of snow on the pass. The whole experience was very special because we were most of the time alone in the mountains (we only met 3 other solo hikers on the whole circuit), we really felt alone in the mountains, survival style with good and reliable people. We were a group of 3 couples from Switzerland and in the end we did not have any major issues with the whole trip. We had a lot of fun with porters and Chandra and every evening was a social event. We even spent an evening at their home, listening to a local band playing local music and we all danced. We are thinking to go back in couple of years and will definitely book again with Chandra! Highly recommended!! Thank you Friendly Treckers team!

We just returned from the Manaslu trek, and it was absolutely fantastic! Chandra is an excellent guide and a greatl person to talk to about almost anything. The driving, walking schedule, and overnight stays were all very well organized, ensuring we were properly acclimatized and well taken care of. Even when we ended up with a couple of free days, Chandra made sure we stayed engaged and got to see more of Nepal than we had anticipated. The porters were incredible, tirelessly carrying our belongings, and I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and dedication.

We did two treks with Chandra and a couple porters this year. Chandra was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide and the porters were friendly and supportive. The Kachechunga trek was spectacular and difficult but I always felt safe and supported through our journey. Chandra knew when to rest and when to push a little further. He was always encouraging and positive regardless of the challenges. The accomodations and logistics were well organized despite a few challenges. Friendly Trekkers would be my choice for any trekking in Nepal. They are a family run company and we were treated as family. I highly recommend them . !

We had an amazing day trip from Sarangkot to Ghandruk. The entire experience was really great. Chandra is a fabulous tour guide. He is knowledgeable and very friendly. We felt safe and well cared for throughout the day. We highly recommend this company.

We were well supported on our 21-day trek to Kanchenjunga basecamp in Eastern Nepal. Logistics turned out to be a bit difficult due to a very large Spanish group on the same trek but our guide Chandra catered to our wish for a quieter, less travelled journey. Some of the trail was difficult due to recent landslides but one of our team of guide and 2 porters was always there to lend a helping hand. We came to appreciate our porters, not just for carrying most of our load but also for their care for each one in our group of 4 hikers, some of us experiencing quite some physical difficulties. But all of us finished this trek successfully!
This was our 3rd trek with Friendly Trekkers Adventure. We have ideas for our next trip with them already

I just returned from trekking in the Himalayas with guide Hari and sherpas Sinele and Lorane. The landscape of Nepal is beautiful beyond words. Still, the experience of our family was greatly enhanced by Hari, Sinele, and Lorane. Hari had good English and could answer our questions every time, completely. He was particularly good at explaining the natural science behind what we observed. And when I was suffering from a knee injury at the end of our trip, Hari helped me by pointing to good foot holds with his trekking pole and arranging an early pickup at the end of our trip. Sinele and Lorane explained a lot about their language and culture and were open about their personal lives as well as expressing interest in our family. We had many good times sitting in front of the stove at our tea house and joking around about odd-sounding Nepali words and comparing life in Nepal to that of America and vice versa. I felt during our trip that all of us—Hari, Sinele, Norane, and my brother, sister, and I—had become one big family. It was difficult to say goodbye to them at the end of our trip.
I must say here that if you wish to have a great experience in Nepal, you need a great interface with the country and its people. Your guide and sherpas are the key to providing you with that. You will be spending much time with them and will be relying on them heavily for support in a strange land. You can have a fantastic trip if you get the best. I strongly recommend Friendly Trekkers Adventure, which is ranked in the top ten of over 2,000 Nepali trekking agencies, and specifically their helpers Hari, Sinele, and Norane. Also, Friendly Trekkers is run by a young energetic man named Kabi who seems to care a lot about his company and clients. Kabi met with us TWICE before we departed. I cannot say enough good things about Friendly Trekkers Adventure.

We had an incredible adventure with this tour company! From the start, everything was perfectly organized, and the team made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. The owner (Kabi and Chandra) was wonderful—friendly, professional, and always available to ensure we had the best experience.
Our tour guide (Sagar) was knowledgeable and supportive, helping us navigate the challenging trek to Everest Base Camp and Ama Dablam Base Camp. The porters (Jetandra, Krishna and Siam) were also fantastic, carrying our gear with ease and always with a smile.
The city tour of Kathmandu was a great addition, giving us a chance to explore the culture and history of Nepal after our trek.
I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us reach our dream of seeing Everest up close. Highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a seamless, unforgettable adventure!

I want to share the unforgettable experience I just had in Nepal, a trek around Poon Hill organized by Friendly Trekkers Adventure. An impeccable organization, without any hitches. We were accompanied by porters and guides of exemplary professionalism, attentive to our well-being and safety, sharing their serenity and smiles. All led by leader Kabi Raj Kc. Special thanks to Hari, as well as to Sulman, Radji, Siba, Dhan, Narayan....
I come back from this trek transformed by the contact of this grandiose nature and the proximity of these good people. Try it, you will not regret it!

Its family owned so we were taken care of like family since we arrived.
I noticed during our hike most porters are carrying several bags but our porter is only carrying one.
They use 1 porter for 2 people unlike others who are trying to save money so their porters carry more bags. That’s not a good feeling. I’m having a hard time and for sure the porters are too who are carrying our heavy load. So to see that they are not “abused” is very good.
We had to cut our trip shorter because of altitude sickness. They were flexible and booked us a plane back from Lukla 3 days ahead of schedule. We were offered a refund too even if it was totally our fault. We did the Ama Dablam basecamp as well. And cannot recommend this more than Everest base camp. I can’t be thankful enough for this company.

We were welcomed to the local family to have dinner, it was really a very special experience, before climbing the mountain we also went to the local family to have breakfast and have a blessing ceremony, this experience is truly unique, our guide song sounds good, often singing encourages us, the challenge is not only to help us carry luggage, but also to take great care of us
