Be prepared to spend money or Hop on Hop off boats for Parasailing or seawalking the Tour Organisers will force you to get dowm on the way for these activites and if you are not interested you wait, The total time at Coral ISland is given 60 minutes and if you miss they will just forget you.

well arranged day trip from Banghok, visitors are grouped and numbered to avoid missing, even food tables are numbered and arranged. The only issue is limited time in each spot... and boat arrangement clubbing up and down trips, hence you will be forced to return at pre defined timings.

2000 baht for combo of parasailing, underwater walking, jet ski and Bana boat.. you hardly spend 2 minutes on these activities . The water isn't clear for underwater walking.. the water is actually polluted by visitors throwing in bread crumbs for fishes .. they give you a CD with pictures however your wearing the helmet and the water isnt clear so you can't be recognised in these photos. However the beach shore is clean and you can see the ocean bed

Please avoid going here. All the activities here are exorbitantly priced. Jet ski lasted 10-15 SECONDS. Banana boat was a small round. There only purpose is to dupe the tourists.

This was a terrible choice. Booked this at a place right off of Khao-san road.
Purportedly, the trip was to leave Bangkok at 6 AM, travel by bus to Patthaya, speed boat out to the beach at ~930, spend the day on the beach with lunch, then return to Bangkok around 6 (leaving Island around 2).
This was absolutely not what happened. The trip out was fine, but ended up leaving at 7 AM due to pickups. The driver also drove over a speedbump at like 100 KPH (60MPH) and then also nearly got in a car wreck at a separate time. We stopped at a gas station near Patthaya for rest stop which was fine.
Once we got to Patthaya at 930, the experience was terrible. We waited for 45 minutes on the beach getting pestered by vendors. Than we had to take a small boat out to a slightly larger, rickety ferry23
, and then had to wait on that boat for another hour while 2 other tour groups piled on, crowding the boat. The seats were super uncomfortable and we constantly had to rebalance. At every opportunity the guide was trying to sell us tickets for 'water sports', although apparently this meant para-sailing and scuba-helmet diving. Good thing we brought water, because there was no chance to buy water/beer/anything on the boat.
Now, to get to these water sport areas, we spent another hour getting out to a platform in the water, where whatever poor souls paid for the para-sailing tickets jumped off, did an extremely brief parasail (looked like a rip-off). The problem was that everyone else just had to sit on the boat -waiting- for the people parasailing to finish. We were sitting within 200 m of an awesome-looking beach. We then picked everyone up and chugged along another 30 minutes or so to get to an island beach and arrived around 1230 or something. The entire time there were lots of speed boats passing us going to really nice looking beaches or quiet resorts.
We basically spent 500 baht each to take a speed boat back which gave us maybe 30 minutes more time on the beach. Left at 3 pm rather than 230. (because screw that ride out). The beach was OK, the sand was good and water fine, although there was a -lot- of trash on the beach. The lunch was at someplace that the tour guides basically owned, and was nothing special. Arrived back home at 7:30
Essentially, would have been much happier chilling at the beach back in Patthaya, or even at the Hard Rock Hotel there (which had a huge pool and a swim-up bar).
There were a lot of nice beaches and speed boats heading out to them. We would have been happy with a 10-2 beach time, but so much time was wasted getting out there and on that boat ride. I'd suggest if you were going to go out here for a day, make -sure- you know exactly what you're going to get, and spend the time and money to get a decent experience. Was the only day on our trip which was a near-total waste and in retrospect should have searched out something better.
Otherwise, spend a longer time at any of the beach cities and get a nice quiet resort.

晴れ間もありましたが、ずっと雨が降っていてすごい寒かったです。
シュノーケリングやアクティビティメインです。ビーチが狭く満ち潮になるとビーチベッドまでくるので、ビーチサンダルなど流されないように注意！
舟で近いので気軽に行けるのは良かったです。

water sports was good.. but the time for each ride was very shot.... underwater was just for 5 minute which is very shot... overall not up to the mark... not a must visit...

Not a very thrilling experience.. There is nothing new in this beach.. The boat ride was also shot.. Plus the vendors and the people are always not so happy.. Frowned faces.. We did be ocean walking but was not satisfied as we just get to feed the fishes only 3-4 kinds we thought of seeing more fishes also they took us only for 15 mins....

This trip was so disappointing, the trip to Pataya was 3 and three quarter hours from Bangkok. Then a 1 and a half hour slow old ferry, that looked like refugees had using it took us to different sites for people that wanted to parasail while the rest waited. I finally go to go undersea walking after waiting 3/4 of an hour, The garbage in the water was terrifying plastic bags everywhere, The fish were good but not much variety. I finally go ferried back to the island Filthy again.Then Served foul food, not option, Drinks were an added option. We were told by the travell agent in Bangkok That we were to get a free otion of parasailing, bananna boat, jet sking. NO they charged us before we got to the island 400 bhat per head for the bananna boat,500 per head for a 5 minute jet ski, 500 baht for a 1 minute parasail. ROBBED. The actual thai fellow on the beach charged us 600 baht for all three of us on the bannan boat and took us for 15 min's.The tour directors are Theives. The beach they took us to was a small filthy horrid place. The ferry was so substandard that the driver was fixing it as we putters or more like splutter back to the beach. Make sure you you get check the optional and the option get it in writing to show the tour guide. I feel that tourist's in Thailand are just here to be robbed. !0 years ago the Thai spirit was wonderful. YOU paid to go to the Toilet and if you wat to take a sea shell they charged you 50 baht. Other beaches looked clean and up to date, this was a shanti town on a shanti ferry. WE were picked up at 6 am two hours on the beach and got turfed out at 9.45 pm do the math on the travell time. NOT worth it. We booked at a site on Rambuttri rd. Buyer be ware
