Excellent value. My wife and I received 3 hours of spa treatments in a great setting (with air conditioning) for $229 USD. Would definitely go back again

We wanted to go somewhere a bit special for a massage and we saw the reviews on trip advisor for this place and decided to give it a go. We booked online and it was a very efficient and straightforward process.
We love hot stone massage which is our favourite type of massage and we decided to book this which is 1.5 hours.
The spa building has a relaxing ambience and when you arrive you get some slippers and they give you tea and a nice sweet rice cracker. You then get to select the oil for your message from a selection of 6 types. My partner selected lavender and I selected jasmine.
We like that you get to shower before your massage too which is nice. It was nice that we had our massages in the same room at the same time and therefore no waiting around.
The massage was heavenly, and it was essentially a Thai massage with hot stones and our first Thai massage, and we felt thoroughly relaxed after an hour and a half of massaging.
At the end of the treatment, they give you some sticky rice with mango and tea.
It was a real treat, and a relaxing and enjoyable experience and we would definitely recommend to anyone. It is more expensive than some other places, but it is worth it.

I visited the Ancient City spa twice. The first time I arrived you received some tea and a sweet rice cracker, no towel. The other spas do provide a towel and in this hot weather it is very welcomed. Lovely reception area where you pick out your massage oil and scrub.
First time I had a 4 hour package. The foot reflexology was great, good Thai massage, average oil massage but the Indian head massage was fantastic.
At the end you have some sticky rice with mango and tea. Overall very good experience.
For this reason I went back and convenient to hotel. This time hot stone massage and Indian head massage.
This therapist was good at oil massage so the stone massage was very good but the Indian head massage was very disappointing. Nothing like the last visit, she didn’t know what to do.
I would go back but would stick to the reflexology and Thai massage.

I read lots of reviews before making reservation. Makkha was so far got the most excellent comments than the other local Day Spa. Therefore we ask our resort Concierge help to make a booking and the team recommended the branch at the Ancient House.
On the day of the treatment, we arrived a bit earlier as we finished the market shopping quicker than we expected. We are glad that the shop is flexible enough to allow us start earlier….. so that we can return back to our resort and enjoy some sun bath.
We buy a one hour Thai massage, and one hour hot oil massage. The therapist is skillful and focus on the area that I requested during consultation time. The pressure is deep enough and the sequence is seamless and smooth. There were time that I felt the pressure was too strong, and she was able to adjust once i mentioned it. It was an enjoyable two hours, the time past fast.
When the treatment finished, we are surprised that they served us mango sticky rice. It was so delicious and we definitely want to come back because of that……
It was a comfortable and enjoyable treatment. We recommend this Day Spa to all who is looking for a decent place for massage.

I went with my Granddaughter as she was treating me. It is a great place to visit. I had a pedicure from Sarah. A lovely lady who made the whole experience a joy. Friendly very good at her job and my feet feel great. I went swimming in one of the large pools, relaxed in the quiet room and had a very nice dinner. A great way to spend time with my granddaughter, would definitely return. I have put couples as it was as near as I could get to my relationship with my adult Granddaughter.

The 120 minute Thai Massage with Balm was pure bliss. We enjoyed the tea, foot wash and mango. The scent was unique and natural cinnamon and ….Several oils, diffusers, scrubs, lotions and body wash for purchase. The service was exceptional we felt like we were in our own home.

We booked a 3 hour massage package which included Thai massage, foot massage and oil massage. We were given clothes to wear for the Thai massage but it was a normal massage? The foot massage was no existent she just held my foot as she thought I was asleep the oil massage was the same as the Thai massage without the clothes. All the time we could hear people talking and washing plates in the next room. When we left we were given mango and sticky rice and non of the reception staff asked if we were happy with our massage and there was not much in the terms of thank you and goodbye. Very disappointed.

We werden hartelijk onthaald met thee en rijstkoek. We kregen rustig de tijd om op het gemak alles op te eten en ons daarna te verkleden en een douche te nemen voir de behandeling. Mijn man had 2 uur de warme olie en stempelmassage en ik 2 u Thaise massage. Het was genieten. Voordien kregen we een lijst om in te vullen met eventueel medis he problemen, zones waar je wel en niet wilde gemasseerd worden. Men hield zich e ht aan wat we hadden geschreven. Er was rustgevende muziek en een aangename temperatuur in de kamer en de dames waren professioneel. 2 u was ook echt 2 uur zelfs net iets meer. Na de massage kregen we nog fruit en zoete kleefrijst. Ook een heel goede prijs ok niet de goedkoopste maar voir deze kwaliteit zeker meer dan de prijs waard ook voir Thaise normen.

Thats very far. I guess they wont have pick up seevice from 4 seasons. 4 seasons is near the mountain part.

Yes, because they helped my husband with the pain he had in the knees.
And the place is very clean. It worth it, if you want a very good service and professional people, for a bit more expensive
