Spent three weeks in Thailand in February organised by Trailfinders (Belfast) Trailfinders use EXO for private transfers and trips. Our experience with EXO was excellent, clear instructions where to make contact at airports, relaxing and seamless transfers to and from hotel with confirmation of hotel pick up sent 24 hours before arranged time. We also had three trips from our Bangkok base, All of which Were excellent don’t know if it’s usual EXO policy to use the same guide for all trip but that’s what we had and it gave us a great opportunity to build a rapport with our guide. (Mr Kawee Kunwah)I cannot emphasis strongly enough how fantastic he was, one of the best guides we have ever had, and if EXO can pass on our thanks and praise to him it would be appreciated (from Mr William and his wife). So would not hesitate to recommend EXO Thailand based on our very positive experience

EXO TRAVEL a été tout simplement déplorable tout le long de notre séjour. Nous n'avons jamais vu ca. HEUREUSEMENT QUE JE ME DEBROUILLE EN ANGLAIS. Quelqu'un ne parlant pas anglais n'aurait même pas pu rentrer en France.
On nous donne un boitier wifi (soi-disant pour communiquer avec notre correspondant via whatsapp). Celui-ci n'a jamais fonctionné (indiqué 4 fois a exo travel).
Nous demandons à ce que l'on nous propose des excursions. La correspondante nous appelle sur notre téléphone (à l'étranger) et non sur whatsapp. 27€ de surfacturation téléphonique. Elle nous dit qu'elle va nous envoyer un mail. Le lendemain toujours rien. L'hotel rappelle pour nous (car nous ne pouvons pas appeler sans être surfacturé). Elle finit par nous envoyer le mail.
Les excursions bien plus chères que celles proposées par l'hotel (donc plus grosse com' pour une même activité).
Voyant que ca ne sert à rien de compter sur eux pour l'organisation du test de -48h exigé par la France (heureusement que nous avons payé un voyage "oragnisé") j'ai pris l'initiative de contacter le 2ème hotel dans lequel nous devions séjourner seulement 2 nuits... sur une petite île... afin qu'ils organisent le rendez-vous et le bateau pour y aller et en revenir.
Et enfin cerise sur le gateau, on est venu nous chercher à 11h00 de l'hotel pour nous déposer à 13h00 à l'aéroport alors que notre vol était à 00h10! Ils n'ont donc aucun scrupule à laisser les clients patienter 11 heures sur une chaise... Il a fallu que nous reprenions un taxi et que nous rapyons un 3ème hotel pour nous mettre plus à l'aise une demie-journée.

We went to the Kanchanaburi for the Kwai Bridge tour with EXO-Thailand. The car and pick-ups were slick but the tour guide told us very little information (in fairness to her she wasn’t well and probably shouldn’t have been at work). The whole thing felt rushed, for example when we were half way across the bridge she turned and announced we were off! The museum was very interesting and well worth seeing. Lunch was poor. I think the trip is worth doing but is a good couple of hours from Bangkok. With hindsight, I would get the train there and maybe then go onto the waterfall at the next station. Expensive for what it was.

Exo travel facilitated our airport transfers, tour guides to Bangkok, the temples and palace, Phuket transfers . A well done is in order for a job professionally done. On the last run from our hotel to Phuket airport the day had rained torrentially, with floods and traffic like Your worst nightmare. Our driver, who could not have made money out of the 2 1/2 hour ordeal- got us there with 5 minutes to spare - took us to check in and departure. Thank you. Professionalism in a world of amateurs.

We booked some hotel transfers in Bangkok and also sightseeing tours around Bangkok and Chiang Mai with Exo travel. The booking process from the UK was quick and there were lots of options to choose from - our budget meant that we had to limit our trips however I would not hesitate to book with this agency. The organisation was great, the guide arrived on time and well prepared, the transportation was well organised and vehicles clean and fresh water prepared. The guide in Bangkok (Bo) was amazing - very well informed and making lots of suggestions of things to do and also amending our itinerary so that we got the most out of our day with him. The transfers to and from the airport were quick, well organised and we were even looked after up to and beyond check it! I have to say that it was so nice not to have to worry about where to go what to do, when to leave etc. so for me as our family’s ‘travel guide’ it was a real treat and allowed me to relax. Next time I would not hesitate booking with Exo for a trip in Asia - their guidance and advice is spot on!

We had the private tour for Bangkok, Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai, and Phuket with Exo Travel. In Bangkok, our guide was Dao, a woman that spoken fluent Spanish, with a lot of humor and experience.
The experiencia from Bangkok was excellent, she was waiting for us at the airport with full information of every flight we had to take. She gave us the private tour in Bangkok, explanation were interesting, full detailed and completely understandable (consider she was Thai). Every time we went back to the car, they have fresh water for us, cleaning towels and a smile.
In Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, we also took the private tour, our guide was Pom. As well as Dao, she was waiting for us at the airport, with a smile. Perfect Spanish spoken.
We went to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in companion of Pom (considerer that this wasn't private tour), she took the time to explain everything. Explanation were, once again, excellent. As well as in Bangkok, every time we went back to the car, there was fresh bottled water and cleaning towels.
In Phuket, we didn't took the private tour for Phuket but yet we reserved 2 excursions with ALP on behalf of EXO. In one of them, I had an accident. ALP and EXO took care of me, taking me to the hospital for full attention (ALP made this), and call us a couple of time (EXO) just to know if I was ok, or need anything. The guide that waited for us was Nato, who also spoke Spanish and recommended us with the excursions.
Excellent service. We enjoyed every moment of the trip with each one of them,

My wife and I are spending 3 weeks traveling through SE Asia. We are now in our 3rd country and we typically don’t use guides for our travel. We felt to learn the history and the culture of this beautiful area of the world we would have to do this at least part of the time. We used guides in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. In Luang Prabang we had a guide named “Vee” who was just the best guide / partner we have ever had. The first day we went trekking through the jungle, arriving at very remote villages and having great experiences with tribes people which helped us gain knowledge of authentic cultures and interact closely and respectfully with local Lao people. We never felt rushed or like we were on any type of tour or schedule. We had an amazing day.
The following day we bicycled to a ferry and headed across the Mekong River. While cycling through remote villages and visiting temples devoid of tourists we heard music and detoured down dirt roads to find a local wedding. We took a few photos and then were welcomed in by the family and spent the next 4-5 hours dancing and interacting with all the locals. They said we are now family!!! A completely spontaneous awesome day!!!
Learning cultures interacting with local people is why Debbie and I love travel.
I just want to thank Vee (our guide) as he was the single best guide we have ever experienced. He is a true representation of the Lao people, he is warm, smart, gentle, funny, and welcoming. In Vee we left a friend behind in Laos.

The following day we bicycled to a ferry and headed across the Mekong River. While cycling through remote villages and visiting temples devoid of tourists we heard music and detoured down dirt roads to find a local wedding. We took a few photos and then were welcomed in by the family and spent the next 4-5 hours dancing and interacting with all the locals. They said we are now family!!! A completely spontaneous awesome day!!!
Learning cultures interacting with local people is why Debbie and I love travel.
I just want to thank Vee (our guide) as he was the single best guide we have ever experienced. He is a true representation of the Lao people, he is warm, smart, gentle, funny, and welcoming. In Vee we left a friend behind in Laos.

We booked through Trailfinders originally who booked Exo on our behalf. We visited the monks in Chiang Mai and visit included providing the monks on their Alms, visiting two temples, before finishing the trip with a visit to a local restaurant to sample Khao Soi.
The following day, the same guide met us to take us to the Elephant Care Centre (covered in a separate review). Neil the guide was very accommodating, informative, amiable and an all round good guy throughout both tours.
Exo were also responsible for our airport transfers in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and finally Krabi. I couldn't fault them if we tried and if we were to return to Thailand without booking through Trailfinders, we would certainly use Exo travel again.
Take care Neil and thank you yet again.

We had a private , knowledgeable guide for every activity and each experience was interesting and often unique We had private travel and most drivers had a little English. The hotels were all 4 stars except one that was 5 stars..Truly a great trip carefullly planned by EXO
