Despite confirming my pick-up location outside the domestic terminal, the driver was nowhere to be seen and when I called Andy Le, he didn't answer his phone or return his text for nearly 20 or 30 min. I was thinking the whole thing was a scam. Turns out the bus driver just left without us and didn't bother contacting Andy or myself (this is a small bus by the way).
Then, returning from SaPa to Hanoi, the morons at the station couldn't locate my name and the same thing — I call Andy and no answer. The unprofessionalism of this company is amazing.
On the plus side, the sleeper bus was comfortable and got me from Noi Bai to SaPa. But the pick up both times was awful. I would not use this companty again.

DO NOT USE ANBASCO NOI BAI SERVICE IF CATCHING A FLIGHT FROM HANOI.
I caught a bus supposed to leave Ha Giang at 12 and arrive at noi bai Airport at 6pm. First, the shuttle bus didn't pick me up until 12:40. I was taken to the bus which then didn't leave Ha Giang for another 40 minutes, meaning it left a total of 1 hour 20 minutes late.
I communicated to the driver's assistant that I had a flight to catch. He and the driver and the other staff (unclear what their respective roles are), found it funny how stressed I seemed about missing my flight.
On leaving Ha Giang we then stopped every 20 metres to pick up what appeared to be crates of food. That wasn't it. In numerous random places on the way to Hanoi we stopped to pick up passengers, some of whom we had to wait to emerge from their homes or to arrive on the back of a moped and who appeared in no rush. I assumed this rigmarole would continue until all of the beds were occupied. Oh no. We continued to take passengers who sat on the floor at the front and in the aisle of the bus. It soon became a hop on hop off service for the locals.
So much baggage was crammed into the holds, be it food crates or even a motorbike, that when people got off there would then be a long delay while they located their baggage.
Thankfully I narrowly arrived in time for the flight but mainly due to a heroic xe om taxi.
I bought the ticket from Anbasco on the basis that it was a special service to Noi Bai Airport. I paid USD18 but noticed that the locals on the bus were being charged 100,000VND (USD5). If you're going to charge tourists a premium, you have to offer a premium service, not just piggy back off an existing local service!
If the company who sold the ticket had been honest from the outset about the departure time, I would of course have caught an earlier bus.
The bus journey itself, supposed to be relaxing, was the opposite and became a living hell as I winced every time the bus pulled in, thinking at the time that each stop was another nail in the coffin of catching my flight. Everyone bar me and one other chap was Vietnamese and didn't speak a word of English. Of course I can't expect people to speak English but some words of reassurance would have done wonders.
All in all an awful experience. These things wouldn't happen if people were honest from the outset.

We booked a Noibaiservices Limousine 9 seater bus from airport to SapaCost is $28 per person each way. The van is comfortable but it was about 2 hours late when the driver came to pick us up at the airport. I was told because the driver was stuck in traffic. On the return trip, I was texted by Andy the day before that the time slot I booked has been cancelled and therefor I was put to the next available slot. when I asked why it was cancelled last minute, Andy told me he had no control and it is up to change any minute since I didn't book a private transportation. Overall, the shuttle service got us from A to B but wish it had been more punctual. When I reached Sapa, all restaurants were closed so we go to bed hungry. may not a bad thing for grownups but be on time is important to run the service

What a huge mess from beginning to end. There are many more travel options so avoid this one. First, they completely screwed up the reservation and came a day early. They didnt know how to manage a booking for after 12 midnight- then they said they were booked for our intended day and had to arrange us alternate transportation on a cheap crowded night bus that seemed to stop every 15 minutes.
The trip back was no better. Arrived at the wrong time - this time 45 minutes too early than scheduled- lucky we were back at the hotel. Then, despite us booking as a couple well in advance we were split with one in front seat with driver and me in the back between two persons on a bench seat. Ridiculous for the price that the few early pickups actually got decent seats - if they are going to have poor alternative seating then their price should reflect this - looked at other similar services at the rest stop and they were all far far better. This was complete garbage from start to finish and this guy Andy was no help - rude- tried to blame the customer for his own mistakes. Wish there was a rating lower than one star. I have lived in Vietnam for 15 years and used many travel companies- this was the worst.

We booked this service to get from Hanoi Airport to Sapa and found them unreliable and the drivers took too many risks on the road for our liking. The van had mechanical problems and jammed 9 passengers into a vehicle that was designed for 7 at best. Luggage was packed into the main cabin between seats meaning getting in and out was difficult and in the event of an accident, down right dangerous. The company uses contractors who don't really care about customer service with drivers who are rude and unprofessional. Andy wasn't the least bit helpful when we complained and as such, I wouldn't recommend Anbasco to anyone.

We booked this service to travel from Hanoi to Sapa and return. On the way to Sapa the car was late in picking us up, had 7 passengers with suit cases which couldn’t fit in the luggage compartment and were stowed between seats meaning no way in or out for passengers in an emergency. I was seated next to the main sliding door which opened for no reason on the highway doing 100kms an hour and struggled to close it until the driver realised what was going on and eventually stopped. For the rest of the trip I had to hold it closed. I tried to do up my seat belt but the clip was missing so had to hold the door closed manually whilst doing 100kms an hour with no seat belt. We relayed these problems to Andy and received assurances it would be better on the return trip but instead, the vehicle had 9 passengers with 2 of our friends required to squeeze in up front with the driver for 5 hours. This is not a “luxury” service even though they charge “luxury” prices. Anbasco contracts out to service providers who don’t care about the standard of customer care and are just out to make as much money as they possibly can. Both are cowboys who border on the down right dangerous. I’m sure there are good quality transport providers out there in Vietnam but Anbasco and their contractors aren’t one of them in my opinion.

I booked 5 transfer services through Andy:
- Hanoi airport to Sapa on limo
- Halong to Hanoi on limo
- 3 private Hanoi airport transfers
His communication was always prompt. The transfers were very punctual. The quality of the vehicles was excellent. I found his services to be quite reliable and hence would recommend.

We landed at Hanoi expecting to be greeted by a member of the team. Nothing for 45 mins so, after watching literally hundreds of vans scream past, we called Andy. Then again. Then again. No replies, cut offs and poor traffic excuses.
The van arrived nearly three hours late. A couple inside had booked a pick up an hour earlier than us so were four hours late. Comedy at the airport as one of his guy’s asked for more money. This also happened later when the driver asked.
Van is as in the snap on the website. Snap was probably taken c.2005 though so the poor thing’s looking a bit worse for wear today. Seats don’t recline, WiFi doesn’t work and the driver determines the music (terrible European, Scooter-esque dance music). Belted up their equivalent of the M1 whilst asking anyone on the side of the road if they needed a lift (not a joke). No way to start a trip to a beautiful country.

Also couldn't find ANBASCO on Trip advisor. Hope this is OK.
We pre-booked the trip with Andy a few months out and at all times the communications were good. The airlines advised us of a change of flight times and Andy was very accommodating. It must be a difficult job.
When we arrived in Hanoi a driver was waiting for us with our name on a placard so we went straight to the Limo and were on the road in 5 minutes. We had been to Vietnam before so we were aware of the traffic and the amount of time it would take to reach Sapa.
Sure, the traffic is a bit chaotic, but the drivers are courteous and safe. In the whole 2 weeks of travel we didn't see one car accident at all. It just seems to work, regardless of the lack of road signs, regulated traffic control etc that you see in Australia.
The van is equipped with water, comfortable lounge type seats and charging stations for your phones etc. Plus, there is a stop along the way at a "roadhouse" where you will find food and drinks and the WC.
All in all a very good service to and from Hanoi & Sapa on May 11th and Monday 14th May. Thanks Andy and your friendly drivers.

하노이 공항에서 소피텔로의 왕복 여정을 예약했다.
예약은 홈페이지에서 쉽게 할 수 있었으며 메일로 예약 확정을 할 수 있다.
가격은 매우 저렴한 편이다.
3명이라 7인승을 예약했는데 왕복 모두 깨끗한 차량을 제공 받았다.
공항과 호텔에서 차량 기사를 만나는데 아무런 문제가 없었음.
다만, 아쉬운건 홈페이지를 통해 예약 확인을 할 수 있는 메뉴가 있었으면 좋겠음.

I was very much counting on booking the night limousine service from Hanoi to Sapa. However, after reading such mixed reviews, I am so confused. Is there anyone who has taken the night limousine service recently?

Don’t book with them. The service provider they use is dangerous and unreliable. If you want a night service, take the train.
