Hi. No dress code required. I am not sure about your backpack, I don't think it would be a problem, though, you can place it at your feet. They will probably check it at the entrance, I don't remember exactly, but they usually checked the bags in museums, malls etc. At the Military Museum they didn't allow us with our bags inside, not even with a bottle of water :), and they kept our bags until we got back, so there shouldn't be a problem.

First up I would suggest you buy your ticket online. By doing this you can buy your tickets to avoid the queue. They put them aside so you collect them on arrival It appears priority seating is given to the online bookings and those who just turn up get what's left. Our view was totally uninterrupted and amazing. So the earlier you book it appears the better the seats. You will need to be there about 30 minutes before your show time. I think our seats were front row about numbers 15-16 but you cannot book them? Good luck have fun.👍

Hi Jess, There are 2 places that I know, but one of them doesn't have ceremonies as often as Hodjapasha and their location, although it's the historic train station in Sirkeci, is not as nice as the Sirceki old Turkish Bath (Hodjapasha). There are many alternatives. You can book directly on their website, you can purchase the Istanbul Tourist Pass and make a reservation (it's included for free), you can book it thru any of the many agencies which advertise it in the city, or you can go there by yourself and purchase the tickets, but you might risk not finding a seat if you get too late. There is also a Turkish dance show in Hodjapasha after the ceremony (paid separately) which I attended a few months ago and I highly recommend it. It's one of the best ones I've attended in all Turkey.

Ti consiglio di arrivare una mezz'oretta prima in modo da prendere i posti migliori ( anche se la visuale è ottima da ovunque). Puoi anche comprare i biglietti online direttamente dal sito ufficiale hodjapasha. com e stamparti i file pdf. Se posso permettermi ti consiglio anche lo show Rhythm of the Dance che racchiude la maggior parte delle danze Turche e Ottomane. ( Questo invece c'è soltanto il Sabato alle 20:30)
