Due to time constraints, I told the guard that I just wanted to take pictures of this attraction. He waived me in and looked for perfect spot to take pictures of this attraction and do some selfies.
There are beautiful flowering plants surrounding this attraction. In the background is the beautiful Arabian Gulf. Note that there are restaurants at the top floor of this attraction

Everything in Kuwait is expensive, even compared to the surrounding gulf region. It's understandable, considering Kuwait's currency is the world's strongest. The Kuwait Towers are no exception. Pricey admission tickets allow you passage up to one of the observation domes for a view of Kuwait city. The views are interesting, if not all that clear (the domes are quite tinted.) The towers are a must see, as they are quite possibly the only recognizable landmark in Kuwait.

Très beau site avec une excellente vue. C’est le site le plus connu du Kuwait. La visite n’est pas très chère et le lieu n’est pas bondé.

Avendo obbligatoriamente una mezza giornata a disposizione in attesa della coincidenza di un volo per altra destinazione, ho deciso di vedere le Torri, rappresentative di Kuwait City. Insomma non meritano certo un viaggio, ma trovandosi in città vanno pur viste. Nella norma anche il ristorante con prezzi accettabili considerando la città.

The Kuwait Towers were opened in March 1979, and are the most recognisable landmark and symbol of modern Kuwait. As at Aug-23, adult entry is 3KWD, which in my opinion is not worth it.
The towers are not in good condition despite the 2012-2016 face lift they received. The windows on the 360-degree viewing platform are dirty and this combined with the poorly installed. UV damaged, and worn-out glare protection offers no real decent view of the city or to the Persian Gulf on who's shore the towers stand. For some unknown reason DSLR cameras are prohibited both on the site and up on the viewing platform of the Kuwait Towers.
The only positive thing about this landmark was the A/C, which gave some solace from the blistering heat and stifling humidity. This is an average (at best), and overpriced tourist attraction that can be done in under 15 minutes.

A must visit and the Japanese restaurant was superb. The views of Kuwait from the Tower were amazing - best to visit just before sunset and stay for dinner.

I started my visit to Kuwait in visiting Kuwait Towers. Spacious parking area, small kiosk to buy tickets, 3 KD for adults and 1.5 for kids. Speedy elevator 120 meters in few seconds. And then, a wonderful view of the city from the top. Rotating tower and really obvious movement. The glasses need more cleaning, but still you can watch a beautiful view of the city. Getting down to 82 meters is the restaurant area that needs prior reservations.
Other highlights are nearby Kuwait Towers. A 1-2 hours visit is fine.

Must see iconic attraction in Kuwait. Disappointed that DSLR camera is not allowed due to concerns about photos of government buildings being taken.
Mobile phone cameras have improved vastly with 48MP on iPhone 14. Anyone determined can take photos but still cannot beat DSLR. I do believe this policy needs reviewing.
Limited visibility through the glass panes as they do require a clean to provide clear views. Rotating platform enabling 360 view of the beach as well as city.

Kuwait City's most iconic site is an easy visit. Take the elevator to the top for a rotating cafe and a great view of the city and its coastline.

Are the towers open regular hours during Ramadan? Are they any different on a Friday in Ramadan? I'm assuming the restaurants will be closed during the day though?

Ramadan timings have to be checked currently as timings may have changed. As for the entrance ticket price, it's KD 3 per person but the ticket for kids between 4 and 9 years is KD 1.5 and kids below that age can enter for free.
The Viewing Sphere opens from 9 am till 11:30 in the evening. its best to go on bright sunny days to get good view of city
In case you are going to the restaurant inside the towers, no need to buy tickets and you can also park your car inside since the parking is only for the restaurant guests.
