This shopping mall was famous as electronic product in the past and declined for a while. But there joined Enter6, and after renovating, there was one of good multiplex shopping mall. Because of previous images, there was not many people.
The Enter6 located at 1st floor, many product was there, and various electronic product above Enter6. The view of Han rive was good at the top, and food court was good.

OK, this is a large shopping mall, with a twist. The twist is, it has (or had) two full floors, about 4 indoor acres of computers, computer parts, computer peripherals and computer accessories. Unless you are seriously into computer stuff, there is really NO reason to visit Techno Mart, as the rest is just an ordinary mall. And to be honest, there are much better "mall malls" in Seoul within just a few short subway stops from Gangbyeon.
Would I recommend Techno Mart? YES! But only if you are looking for computer parts to buy and take home today. I first visited in 2013. Back then, it had a lot more stores, with a lot more computer stuff, and the computer stuff on display was much more "current". Now, half of the 8th floor (computer stuff is level 7 and 8) is empty. And much of the 7th floor is full of computer stores that are not manned during prime shopping hours. (????)
But it's still a good place to find computer parts (other than desktop style power supplies) if you know how to work the system there. Yes, there is a system. See, you will walk around and look at hundreds of "stores" and see...not much interesting. There will be a limited selection of stuff, with no prices marked. Or on the other hand, there might be buttloads of stuff (hordes of mouses for example) that few people are interested in.
The GOOD stuff, like recent motherboards, recent CPUs, recent SSDs, fast RAM, etc...it all seems to be missing in action. But it's not.
Eventually, as you are walking around you will run into a salesman who speaks a little English and is hungry for a sale. So he will ask you (obviously) if he can help you find something. So you tell him that you are looking for (example) NVME SSDs. And he responds with an appropriate question... "1TB?" And then you tell him what size you are looking for. Then he pulls out this huge printed catalog, looks kind of like an old printed telephone directory. And he will point to a Samsung something or other (well, we are in KOREA!!!) and quote you a price which is actually pretty decent (close to Amazon pricing). But if you ask to see the actual product, he can't show you that. It's not in the store (it is in the back room). So you pull out your cell phone and go online to check the specs. Yeah, it looks decent, yeah the price is fair. But it feels odd to be given one choice, even if it's a good one. So you have to PROMPT him...do you have another brand? Well heck yes!!! He's got dozens of brands listed in his big catalog. He asks you what you might like. So you mention say, WD. And he says we have black and blue, but you don't want blue...you want black. (Well, he's RIGHT on that, he's not just upselling...) So you ask him how much for the black and he quotes a price that is...
Again, just about the dollar equivalent (after conversion from WON) for what the same item sells for on Amazon.
By now, you've gotten a good look at the catalog he is working with an you notice that just about every brand of SSD you are familiar with (and some that you are not) are all present and accounted for. But you've already received a couple of fair offers on Samsung something and WD black, both of which you know are decent quality based on reviews you read earlier.
So you decide to get the WD black at the price the salesman quoted you. The salesman then picks up the phone and speaks some Korean into the handset for about 10 seconds. Literally two minutes later, the runner comes from the back room carrying the SSD you ordered, which is NOT ON DISPLAY in any of the hundreds of public displays of wares all around you....
You toss the salesman some WON, he puts your new toy in a paper bag...and you are on your way. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!
But here's the strange part. All the good stuff is in the back room. It's not like a typical store where they might run out of shelf stock and have to run to the back room to get more. In the computer stuff floors of Techno Mart, they never stock the shelves!!! They just leave out all the older stuff that nobody cares about anymore. They have EVERY part you want, just about any make or model imaginable. But you won't see it walking around the hundreds of stores. All the good stuff is in the back room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a mighty strange marketing strategy. It could be why half of the 8th floor is vacant already. I imagine they have many customers who go to the 7th/8th floor, look around for a while and then leave because they don't see anything at all interesting.

If you’re looking to buy some Korean gadgets, forget it. Things you’d find here are secondhand, or only compatible for Korean 60hz electricity, or ubiquitous Chinese accessories.
There’s also a few restaurants and a wedding facility here, which I don’t think has nothing to do with your business if you’re searching for “techno mart”.

Are the mobile phones and other electronic items that are sold here, original or are these first/second copies?
As of my experience during 10 years, there's no copy. Almost all items are original.
