Arrive at least 1h before your train as it can get busy to get into the station. Once in is really easy to find your way around, big screens with trains timetables, announcements in English for every boarding /departing train. It is more organized than any European city, user-friendly.

Una moderna estación de Trenes donde impresiona el factor seguridad, pues previo acceder tienes que identificarte con tu pasaporte ( nosotros los extranjeros) y los locales con tecnología de identificación facial) y pasar revisión de equipaje por rayos x.
Las taquillas tienen indicaciones en Chino de manera que el idioma representa un problema para nosotros los extranjeros...
Buscas el número de puerta y el acceso a las plataformas es de manera ordenada y nuevamente bajo control del pasaporte, en este aspecto te sugiero acercarte a los encargados de revisar y mostrarles tu Pasaparte, pues tienes posibilidad de no hacer la fila de los locales, ya que ellos tienen que realizar identificación facial.
Nosotros tomamos aquí el tren bala hacia Tianjin.
Tips:
- El pago es en efectivo o con su sistema chino de We Chat o Union Pay.
-El servicio de Sanitarios Públicos es GRATUITO.

This is a very busy site so before you go into a melt down look for a young person that has some grasp of English and show them your ticket, they will always help by pointing out what line you need to join. The staff are also very helpful.

Its a huge railway station esp for travelers travelling with high speed trains, they have this huge waiting rooms for each trains and the gates open 15 mins prior to departure

We took a bullet train from here to XiAn, only took 6 hours, it would take 23 hours on a normal train. Train station is very busy, but easy to navigate.

Es fácil ubicarse y encontrar tu salida del tren, solo debes guiarte de las pantallas digitales que muestran la información de las salidas, la gente ahí no ayuda en nada, el idioma es una barrera grande.

The bullet train made traveling 4+ hours into 2 hours of enjoyable accommodation worthy repeating. The lady assisting us was courteous and very helpful. The seats in the business class reclines and can actually allow passengers to lay flat and sleep.

主要是高鐵，算是亞洲最大的火車站之一了，可能比有些地方的機場還要大，但是管理一般，之前被稱爲北京難站，就是打車費勁，之前候車廳商鋪很多，現在減少了很多

Met onze ANWB groep zijn wij per hoge snelheidstrein van Beijing naar Shanghai gereisd. Deze ruim 1300 km hebben we binnen vierenhalfuur afgelegd. Fantastisch gewoon. Dit is absoluut de prettigste vorm van reizen. Luxe stoelen met veel ruimte.

New and big as everything in Beijing. A bit hard to navigate unless you are going by
Metro or bus. I took a bullet train heading to Shanghai and since I was leaving Beijing I wanted to withdraw the remaining amount in my IC card. The office for doing this is called BMAC and are located in or on the way to the bus terminal, but no specific signs for this office - look for an anonymous door over which there is a big blue sign (Beijing Municipal Administration & Communications Card Co LTD) - see the attached picture. Opening hours are 8:30 am to 7:30 pm so if you have an early visit here it’s not sure you will have time for repurchase of your IC card. Another thing that was hard to find out was that even though the information was that check in for the trains opens 1 hour before departure, they are letting people in in the same order their train departs. That means if your train departs 10 am and another train departs 9:45 am from the same gate they don’t let you in until the gate closes for the 9:45 departure, which is 9:30. Relax and have a coffee instead, there is plenty of places.

The station is one huge room. The gates (tracks) are paired, 1 abdv2, 3abd 4, etc. I'm guessing there are about 30 tracks, meaning 15 pairs. Once you get through the entrance, you are in about the middle of the station. Logically, track 11 should be in around the first third, towards one end. It's important to know the tracks have two entrances. This will be pretty obvious. One entrance is for people in the first half of the train, the second for people in the last half of the train. They sort of make announcements, but if you see a line forming for your track, you should get on it.
