For the equivalent of US$65, I had a wonderful two-hour package: full body massage and a foot soak and extra massage. My massage therapist was very thorough and gave me one of the best Chinese-style I have ever had. The place is also very pretty and relaxing.
NOTE: It does not seem to be part of their routine to ask about health or other particular issues, so be ready to volunteer if you have anything like that to say.

My spouse and I came from Chicago to visit our son. Decided to give him a full body massage and we got two pedicures. His full body massage was consist of sitting in a chair and they massaged his arms, shoulders, legs and feet. The pedicure was very good. The Hostess is a fast talker. A basic pedicure cost RMB 188.00 but if you get one of their special packages, the pedicure will reduce to RMB 88.00 including the special package cost of RMB 638.00. Whatever they did in their special package would literally cost half that price in the states. They will try to have you buy EXTRA lotion along the way. It cost me over USD $400.00 including tip. Be very careful. This is not a high end spa. The only high end is trying to have you buy other services that should already be included and their prices. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT!!!

This has been my favourite place to go to when I need a respite after a tiring week. Their massage treatments are not cheap but it commensurate the quality they are providing. Their massage therapists are all very professionals and the rooms are very clean. I also like the receptionists here as they do not try to sell you stuff unlike their outlets at Shanghai Jingan Kerry Centre.

I have visited both outlets in Beijing and one of their outlets in Shanghai. I have always enjoyed my visits to Dragonfly and make it a point to visit whenever I am in town. The whole experience from reservation to the visit was stress free. I made the appointment online and received a confirmation by email promptly.
The recent TCM massage I had at Yansha was one of the best ever. My shoulder and back feels so much better now and I slept very well that night. Thank you, I will be back!

The service was thoroughly great. The atmosphere in the room was very clean and peaceful, peaceful music playing in the background, and a excellent massager. I had a wonderful experiance there and I'm looking forward to go again!

Whenever I have time, I try to go to this place for a massage. There is a "friendly welcome", you get tea, reception lady explain very well all possibilities, speak englisch very well. It is possible, to get a date without reservation, what I really appreciate. The masseuse is good and sensitive, rooms are very clean, good flavor and light is dimmed.

All of our receptionists speak English so it is easy for travellers to book appointments. Also we try our best to keep sufficient staff on hand so that you can pop in without an appointment.

I have been going to Dragonfly Spa for more than 6 months. The staff is professional, it is clean and the service is at a high level. They offer a variety of different massage options, not only Chinese massage. The nail services are also very good. And when making an appointment ahead of time I have never had to wait. The staff speaks English, some better than others but as a whole it's sufficient to communicate with their clients.
However, the price you see in the price menu can quickly be doubled, particularly for manicure and pedicure. The staff keeps on pushing on you all kinds of extras that are quite expensive: 50 RMB for quick dry top polish, 120 RMB for softening foot creme, 120 RMB for organic nail polish. The price for shellac is outrageous. They also try to push a special massage oil for additional 70 RMB. The good thing is that they always ask you before adding any of these extras but one cannot relax because you need to really pay attention and be ready for the next offer for a pricey add-on. I am a regular client and you would think they'd have learned that I do not want any of these add-ons, but I guess they have to keep on trying. Another way of getting more money out of their clients is when paying with a credit card. Even though every time I tell them that I want to pay in RMB, they show both the price in local currency and in USD on the receipt and charge me in USD, using a very unfavorable exchange rate. I wish I could give Dragonfly Grand Summit a 5-star rating but the little "tricks" they use to get more money out of their clients does not suit such a luxury establishment.

We realize that we have a lot of add-ons available to our basic treatments, like our classic 1 hour Chinese Massage or our many brands of Nail polish available at different prices, but on each visit you should only expect to pay for what you ordered. And our staff are trained to double check what you have chosen - to eliminate any surprises.
Regarding payment using the bank POS terminals that accept customer credit or debit cards, our staff will always enter your bill in RMB (local Chinese currency). (Our staff will never make any currency conversion calculations) Some bank card providers may give you a choice of how to be billed but this is not a decision that we make for you as we will only receive RMB from the bank. This could vary from card to card but we will keep our eyes open on this.

The absolute best place to go for a great massage! I would go here about once every two months and they could help with any tension I had from work or sore muscles I had from running. Absolutely the best. I miss them so much and I haven't found any spa since I have moved from Beijing to replace them. If I am every back in town, I would make sure I had time for to get a massage here.
