Adrian showed us a side of Hong Kong that you can't find in the guidebooks or on the glossy tourism board website. We went deep into the heart of local grassroots areas in Kowloon, and saw the hustle and bustle of local folks going about their daily lives. Adrian was very knowledgeable, from culture and history to food and drinks (tasting some along the way!) Highly recommended!

We chose a tour that showed us the local and grassroots face of HK, a side of HK that we do not normally see given its cosmopolitanism and iconic skyline of brightly lit skyscrapers. The tour was comfortably paced, and Adrian is a very knowledgeable tour guide! I enjoyed this tour of Sham Shui Po immensely.

Adrian is a very sensitive guide according to your specific requests. A really rare kind of personality who can provide you city hidden gems. Amazing companion with wide range of interests. Our discussions were an amazing pleasure as well as strolling the city. Lucky to meet.

My partner and I enjoyed a 3 hour walking tour with Adrian during our trip to Hong Kong. We explored parts of Sheung Wan, Central, and Wan Chai on our own, and we wanted to see more beyond the tourist and shopping sites. We had not researched other areas, but Adrian suggested a route that worked perfectly to see many interesting sites within the time available. He was well prepared with facts and even had historical photos to show us how the city had changed over time. I most enjoyed how the tour was like walking and talking with a friend - instead of listening to a scripted presentation. Sometimes we simply walked immersed in the sights, sounds, and smells of the city. We stopped occasionally to learn about points of interest along the way. It seems like Adrian quickly understood our casual style of exploring the city, and he was thoughtful about designing a tour that was comfortable for us.

Adrian custom tailored a food and open air market tour for our party of 3.
He showed us how to use the Metro and the ferry system in the process.
Everything was absolutely wonderful and everybody enjoyed the food and his knowledge.

I booked Adrian to show us around Hong Kong and he was fantastic - showing us how the locals eat and shop. Our holiday was a truly authentic Hong Kong experience thanks to Adrian. The restaurants he took us to in Wan Chai were superb and I cannot recommend Adrian enough. He's knowledgable and friendly. Thanks again

we have been visiting different market places , at the city, places which tourist are not visiting, it was very interesting.
we enjoyed very much the tour, was very interesting and the explanations we got were great.
we spent more than 10 hours at the tour and every minute was so interesting.
everything was organized very well and on the time.

We've booked a history and cultural tour with Adrian in late September. Since we've already covered most of Hong Kong's attractions in our last trip to Hong Kong several years ago, this time we were more interested in exploring the cultural side of the city so I've looked online and found out about AD tours, I emailed Adrian and we agreed on the timing and type of tour.
On the day of the tour, Adrian was waiting for us in the hotel lobby well before our agreed on timing and since we were ready we've started the tour right away. The tour was very informative and exposed us to facts about the history and culture of Hong Kong that we haven't known before. Adrian was also very knowledgeable and we enjoyed talking with him about the various aspects of the colonial history and the present of Hong Kong.
Prior to our tour I have requested from Adrian a slower paced tour since my parents were with us (can't stand walking for long periods under the sun) and he has accommodated our request with high care insuring that we got frequent resting stops and a leisurely walk at a comfortable pace.
Although we had more resting stops than usual, Adrian made sure that we cover everything we wanted to see as in less than four hours we were able to take the star ferry, learn about the statue square (not sure of the name) and the histoty of HSBC and its founder, have a stroll in central Hong Kong, try milk tea from a famous small eatery (quite delicious), ride the tram, ride the mid level escalators and have a look at the local vegetables and dried seafood markets.
Overall, a very good tour with an excellent, informative, understanding and polite tour guide.
I would highly recommend AD tour for anyone visiting Hong Kong and interested in the cultural and historical aspect of the city.

We did two tours with Adrian and both were excellent. His local knowledge and insights were very interesting and he was a super host. We felt we experienced a variety of aspects of Hong Kong and learnt a little about this very exciting and multi-cultural city, whilst also learning about the history and food too. Perfect.

Even though I've lived in Hong Kong for ten years, the AD tour bought fascinating new insights into this remarkable city. It was well-paced, well structured and allowed me to understand the context of the British and Chinese history. Highly recommended!
