This was our first time in the Changi Village and this park is outstanding. A group had just finished collecting litter so it looked great. Lovely views of the bay and the estuary running behind. People fishing.

We took a taxi from the airport and walked the length of this walkway. There is no boardwalk but a well tarsealed pathway mostly in the shade under trees.
There are busstops along the road parallel but we walked back the same way, over the footbridge by the boat harbour to Changi Village where we caught the taxi back to the airport. Taxi there was $25 in morning traffic, back $15

We just love the East (SG) and that meant the Changi area.. think Changi (Point) and one will conjure up its popular holiday chalets, sailing clubs, nice fix of nasi lemak (malay rice), clubs at the food centre… but the beaches are equally alluring. We were at CC for a staycation so there’s more time exploring and to reminiscent some fond memories.
The Changi Point Coastal Walk is a favourite spot for many, from avid photographers, exercise craze, fishing enthusiasts or just friends & families gathering.
The broadwalk portion near Changi Cove is under renovation till 2022 so access to the Sunset Walk, Kelong & Cliff Walk are limited. We started off after a lunch at Le Xuan HK Dim Sum restaurant, from the Changi Beach Park a main meeting point as it is near to the famous Changi Village food centre and also bus terminal. Crossing the busy yet narrow Changi Creek Bridge (overseeing the Changi Ferry Terminal) this is the highest activity area ! And we begin our walk upon hitting the beach, strolled towards the east. The Changi Beach Park was improved over the years and it is a nice stretch of walk with a cyclist/skating path. One can veer out to the beach to have the sun, sea & sun feel else stay under the well-shaded path. . A continuous scenic route with the occasion roaring of airplane taking off nearby, makes a wonderful walki. A few toilet-washing facilities adds convenience.
Still Pandemic period and supposed to have max 5 person gathering. There will be the usual picnic, small pitch tent, kiting flying (actually prohibted) and we passed the memorial of the Shook Ching Massacre (a page from SG WW II). The leisure walk along the broadway offers a beautiful view of the coastline.
Further beyond it will be the Aviation Park Road & Nicoll Drive, where SG used to host the Singapore Airshow 2020. We did not ventured further, so we missed the Lagoon Village Food Centre and beyond. We also skip the sunset, next time perhaps..
It was a great leisurely walk experience for us. Come try the scenic and relaxing walk yourselves.

If you wanna get away from the crowds of East Coast Park, head to Changi Beach. An early morning trip to the beach will present you with sight not even ECP can boast of. As the tide recedes, be amazed at how far you can walk away from the shore. Look very closely at the small pools of water and you will be able to see sea cucumber, hermit crabs etc. What's even more amazing, these areas are dotted along the beach all the way past the SAF Ferry Terminal. Catch the sun rise and enjoy nature at its best. If all the walking gives you the munchies, head to Changi Village Hawker Centre for breakfast. Now thats the way to round off a visit to Changi.

Changi Beach Park is one of oldest coastal parks in Singapore. It was an extremely popular beach in the 1960s when lives were much simpler. It still retains a kampong ambience probably due to its distance away from the city and is thus less crowded. It has stretches of pristine white beaches dotted with coconut palms, BBQ pits, park benches and shelters. These facilities attracts many families to gather for swimming, picnics and barbeques during the weekends.
Changi Beach Park stretches from Changi Point to Changi Ferry Terminal and overlooks Pulau Ubin and it is about 3.3 km long. There is a GoCycling rental shop here which opens at 10 am on a weekday and earlier on weekends. One can chose to return the bicycles at its T2 or East Coast Park outlets. There are great Lady's bicycles for rental here.
Changi Beach Park is also infamous for an event that took place during World War II. The Sook Ching massacre site where the execution of civilians took place in February 1942 is marked by a simple plaque along the beachfront.

Located slightly off the beaten track at the easternmost point of Singapore, Changi Beach Park is a stretch of beachfront and park. Shady areas under trees are often laid with ground sheets and occupied by families with young children, some having picnics. Quite a lot of family activities are enjoyed here, eg. children swimming or playing on the beach or cycling. The place also attract adults who fish by the beach or in the vicinity of Changi Point Ferry Terminal.
Within walking distance are hawkers centre, restaurants, pubs and shops, each catering to different level of affordability. There are a few well known food stalls in the hawkers centre.
A bus terminal provides convenient access for those travelling by public transport. Car parks are often full, with drivers of waiting cars watching out for departing cars.

Changi beach park is at the end of Singapore island, not easy to reach by public transport. The beach area has a lot of people, but not as crowded as East Coast park. It’s also the best place for aviation fans as you can see plane landing or take off from there (carpark 4 will be the best) there is also a restaurant and bike rental. If need to get food, can walk over to Changi village across the bridge.

It is not well structured as Sentosa but a part of it is much better, better view. Not so easy to reach is far from the center. But who interesting place to go, not much around.

This is another good choice as a cycling location in Singapore. Not quite as large as East Coast Park, it's nevertheless quite a good length from one end to the other. Forms part of my standard cycling route along the park connectors.

There is one place on the beach itself - not too big, thai and chinese restaurants so plenty of options. If you want to go local style there is food court just above beach you can get beer and food over there at probably 30% price of restaurant.
What bus to take from admiralty or woodlands to Changi Beach last carpark food village
