Excelente explicación de la astronomía incaica, complementada con el uso de telescopios (dependiendo del clima) muy interesante la experiencia en el domo. Es evidente el gusto por lo que hacen, que termina siendo contagioso.

Está experiencia es algo fuera de lo clásico en Cusco y fue por eso que la elegí. Me gustan las estrellas y los planetas, en el recorrido hablan súper completo sobre todo el cielo nocturno y sobre la visión que tenían los incas. Súper interesante y muy educativo. Las personas que nos guiaron súper chéveres, buena gente y apasionados. Muy recomendado!

I’m not much for barhopping or loud dinners, and this was a wonderful way to spend the early evening. This family has been introducing people visitors to the southern skies for over 15 years. Those of us who come from the northern hemisphere, the exclamation of the Southern skies in a warm, cozy planetarium, was very helpful. The fabulous telescopes outside and expert focusing of them gave us all a real thrill. Highly recommended!

We pre-purchased these tickets and it was a great experience! I loved learning about the Incan astronomy and how they used the stars to support their agriculture and society. The planetarium is family run and you can tell that everyone has a passion for sharing the history and knowledge with guests. They were incredibly kind and helpful and taught us a lot about different constellations. We also got to use their telescopes to look at some stars and planets! I definitely recommend for anyone interested in astronomy or astrology.

Cancelled and didn’t even tell us or refund our money. We took a taxi thinking there was a mistake in our pickup but nope!!! They just didn’t want to work one night. Cost us the tour price and round trip taxi

We had a delightful evening at the planetarium! The visit included an interesting presentation about historical astronomical practices in the region as well as the Peruvian environment and agriculture. Next, we learned more about the night sky and got to see several stars, planets, and other objects using telescopes. This alone would have been great, but what really made the visit stand out was the knowledge and enthusiasm of the staff. In particular, Ana Maria has an inspiring passion for astronomy and was able to connect with both astronomy buffs and those new to the topic. This was an evening very well spent!

The last activity of my Cusco trip and it was actualy the best one. The passion with which the family owning the planetarium shares with you there knowledge is absolutely contagious. If you were net fascinated before this experience, you‘ll for sure be after it.
Teh guides explaining you the Inca history, they sell you something. I mean it‘s not a bad thing, but you feel that it‘s a job. For the planetarium experience you‘ll feel the passion and start to share it at a moment.
I really liked the experience and rediscovered my passion for astronomy which I already had in my early childhood.
I strongly recommend this activity!

Excellent experience. We learnt lots about Cusco, Peru and Astrology which will help us during our travels in Peru. The information was given in English too!

Alguém já foi para o Planetário de Cusco no primeiro dia de viagem (chegar à tarde e à noite fazer esse passeio)? Ou não recomendam? Porque, para mim, parece ser um passeio bem sossegado.

Are there any parties or events scheduled for Friday 1.12? We read the post about the banquet and want to assure a pleasant visit. Also whattime is best for viewing the moon and stars?

There is a drive in the van from the city Square up to the planetarium, the show in the building and the sky gazing with their very good telescopes, all total, maybe just short of two hours.
