If I could give more than 5 stars, then I most certainly would. If you are planning to hike the Incan Trail (and tour the area around Cusco), the experience cannot be beat with the travel company View Peru, who was clearly above and beyond the rest. I did not think it was possible to have a luxury camping adventure, but View Peru quickly killed that assumption.
From the very first greeting to the very last cheer, every member of our trek staff was an absolute joy. Our guide Adrian was so knowledgeable and quite honestly, probably the best tour guide we have ever had. We learned so much about the Incan culture and its rich history, and he was there to help us every step of the way. Felipe, our assistant tour guide, was so delightful and attentive. Aydee, our massage therapist, gave amazing massages for all four of us, even after hiking all those miles ahead of us! I could not believe it!
Our chefs and waitstaff (Zenon, Julio, Abraham, Julian, Pedro, Lucio) gave us the dining experience of a lifetime, and what is even more impressive, is that they were able to do this out in the middle of nowhere! We ate better meals on the trail than we do at most restaurants in the United States. It was such a special touch when they made us a cake for our anniversary! Bacilio and his porters were super exceptional!! Our tent setup was perfect, and we even had a shower and bathroom tent, which was also something unique to this company. And most importantly, they always had a smile on their faces :)
View Peru went above and beyond our expectations! It is class all the way! They are the best, and truly deserve all the praise! Words cannot describe how memorable they made this trip for us!

My 8-day journey with View Peru was nothing short of extraordinary. Starting with a 2-day stay in Cusco, we were introduced to the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. Our lead guide, Adrian, and assistant guide, Felipe, shared captivating insights, setting the stage for our 5-day trek on the Inca Trail.
The trek was meticulously organized, with the staff and porters—Zenon, Julio, Abraham, Julian, Pedro, Lucio, and Bacilio—handling everything from gear to campsite setups, always with warm smiles. Their hard work allowed us to focus on the stunning Andean landscapes. The incredible three meals per day prepared by the chef were an unexpected luxury, and the soothing massages by Aydee at the end of each day were a lifesaver.
Adrian and Felipe’s knowledge and encouragement kept us motivated, and reaching Machu Picchu felt deeply rewarding thanks to their guidance. View Peru didn’t just provide a tour; they created a profound, personalized adventure. This journey was unforgettable, and I can’t recommend View Peru highly enough for anyone seeking an immersive Andean experience.

The hotel was great and clean. Great service and food was good.

From what we could tell, View - Signature Travels (aka View Perú) is the most luxurious — and best — option for hiking the Inca Trail.
All the staff (the porters, the chefs, the waiter, and the massage therapist) were exceptionally kind, generous, and happy people. I honestly cannot understand how anyone could hike carrying 20kg for 10km with 4000ft of elevation, at twice the speed of an ordinary hiker, and then tirelessly set up a shower, toilet, or tent, or cook a meal, or provide a (very therapeutic!) massage, all while maintaining complete enthusiasm for carrying out their tasks perfectly. The staff are truly wonderful people, and we could not have done the hike without their exceptional efforts.
Above all, we have to give a shout-out to our guide, Dayvis. To be honest, he was our perfect guide: knowledgeable, funny, a wonderful dining companion, and passionate about Perú and its history. He was also extremely patient (a virtue we noticed several guides on the trail lacked), never once pushing us to leave a site sooner than we wanted (he even sat with us in the rain for two hours as we waited at the Sun Gate for the clouds to clear over Machu Picchu). Dayvis also went above and beyond to help us with suggestions for dining, additional excursions, shopping tips, and anything we had questions about. By the end of the trip, we certainly counted Dayvis as our friend, and not only our guide. We would highly recommend asking for Dayvis if you book with View - Signature Travels / View Perú.

We were very lucky to be accompanied by an incredibly experienced and competent guide on the Inca Trail. Our guide Tomas has mastered the trail many hundreds of times and you can feel his passion and extensive knowledge every moment. His support was particularly impressive when we reached the high pass. With motivating words and his calm, encouraging manner, Tomas helped us to overcome the challenge.
My husband and I always felt in good hands and superbly accompanied. Thanks to him, this hike became not only a sporting achievement, but also a deeply touching experience that we will never forget. We can highly recommend him to anyone – he is a true expert on the Inca Trail! 👍

We took this trip as group of 7 friends celebrating our move to 50; was an amazing trip from an experience perspective starting from the time we booked to the time it ended. we never felt that we were part of a hiking expedition and being managed by one of the best companies out there; felt we were among family who really took care of us every single moment. Everything was curated and setup especially for us and every single person in the 30 plus support staff was focussed in making our experience super special. Thomas, Ceaser, Puerto, Junior.. can keep going on and on .. I will be back for sure ..

We had an incredible time. Our guides, Tomas and Frank made us feel welcome, safe, informed, and taken care of. The hiking was hard, but there were frequent breaks, and the meals were all delicious. Accommodations were comfortable: beds, showers, bathrooms. All in all we had an amazing time.

Extraordinary glamping adventure with Sebastian and his Team from View Peru Signature Tours hiking the Inca Trail for four days. Great food, great accommodations and lots of interesting information and support provided by our guides. The porters were simply amazing. Highly recommend this team if you want to hike the Inca Trail in style. Fantastic for a couple that is active but wants some comfort in their adventure as well. The daily messages helped us along and who doesn’t appreciate good wine and Pisco Sours on the trail!

The most wonderful trip and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The View Peru team was an absolute delight and the 4-day Inca Trail was a truly luxurious experience. We were so impressed by the team, the service, and the quality. Marco, our tour guide, taught us about the Inca's history, culture, and customs and became a dear friend. We got engaged right before the trip and the team made us feel extra special, including a cake baked on the trail itself, homemade Pisco Sours, a champagne toast! We cannot recommend this team enough. With only 2 of us on the hike, our team became family. Marco, Frank (our waiter), Aide (masseuse), our chef and assistant chef, and every porter were dear to us, and a big thank you to every one of them! Doris was excellent throughout the planning phase and Alex was a wonderful host, and a driver to-and-from. This was a replanned April 2020 trip and View Peru was wonderful EVERY step of the way throughout the experience.

I planned a 15 year anniversary with my wife. The two of us with all the porters on the four day, Inca Trail. Breathtaking views. Amazing experience. The porters were great. Food was amazing. Sebastian was an amazing person to have with us as our guide. Highly recommend this experience. I will be recommending multiple others to go. Appreciate all the hospitality. Looking forward to going back again with the kids.

Most of my friends carried a 20L knapsack, which is quite enough for all you need for the day. I carried a 9L because my husband carried a 35L to lessen my load. We also had a 2L camelbak for water, which gets refilled if you need during the day when we break for lunch. What you carry depends on which season you go... we went in May which is the dry season so we didn't pack for rain geat. View Peru really took care of us so things like rain ponchos, walking sticks, daily snacks etc were supplied for us. I had one of those ultra light fleece which is enough for early morning and night. So pack in your knapsack like you would go for any 6 to 8 hours day hike. Definitely sunscreen. And toilet paper. Have a great trip!! :)
