My wife and I participated in the Market Tour and Cooking Class in Lima, and it was an unforgettable culinary adventure. It was more than a class; it was a deep dive into Peru's rich culinary culture.
The adventure began with a vibrant local market tour. Here, we were introduced to an array of exotic fruits, vegetables and local products.
The subsequent cooking class, surprisingly held in a residential apartment building, added a charmingly authentic touch to our experience. Here, we were guided by a skilled chef to prepare a four-course Peruvian meal. The dishes included Causa, Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, and Picarones.
The class was well-organized and the setting was intimate, making the experience even more engaging. We came away with a deeper understanding and appreciation of Peruvian culinary traditions - and most importantly the recipes for us to try at home.
