Questo bastione bianco (dell'Innesto), costruito nel 151 5 a difesa dai Turchi, connetteva la Torre Bianca con la cinta muraria di Brasov. Attraverso il bastione si poteva raggiungere al sicuro le torri esterne alle mura.
E' raggiungibile attraverso una stradina stretta, che costeggia l'esterno dei palazzi i cui retri formavano la cinta muraria di Brasov e un piccolo rivo.
Tutta questa zona sarebbe molto molto bella. Purtroppo il bastione e la torre non sono visitabili all'interno e il percorso non è molto valorizzato.
Consiglio comunque di visitare questa zona interessante di Brasov.
E' raggiungibile attraverso una stradina stretta, che costeggia l'esterno dei palazzi i cui retri formavano la cinta muraria di Brasov e un piccolo rivo.

Torre Negra denen kent meydanının hemen arkasına düşen korudaki gözlem kulesine çıkışta geçilen arka yol..kendinizi Ortaçağ'a ışınlanmış hissettirecek bir arkaiklikte kenarından şırıl şırıl dağ suyu belki yüzyıllardır aynı yerde akıyor.. bu ara sokaklarda muhakkak kaybolun sizi bir ara tünelden evlerin arasından gizli kalmış barların kafelerin pasajından(strada sforii) tekrar Sfatului Meydanına ulaştıracak..

Built between 1515 and 1521 the Graft Bastion - part of the former fortification system of the medieval city of Brasov. It is a 2 floored bastion built to support the fortification system of the city - 4 m thick walls at the base it made the connection with the White Tower - that was situated outside the city walls and provided safe passage tot the towers garrison in case of need via an extendable system of leaders.
Currently is in bad shape - like the majority of landmarks I've visited in Brasov (that were parts of the fortifications of the medieval city ) - meaningless and ugly graffities are to be seen on this bastion also and I don't understand why in city like Brasov this hooligan acts are tolerated by the local authorities.
The Bastion is closed - only the outside you can see - and its in bad shape - used to be a time when you had an expo on the 2nd floor that you could visit - not anymore as we found out.

While I wouldn’t make a trip to Braşov just to visit this paved path along the medieval protective city walls, it is a must-see when you are already in the Old City. The running brook, archways, paved path, and benches make it an enjoyable respite away from the pace of the city. Most sites are locked up, but worth walking around— the “black” tower, the white tower and the door to the catacombs. I came here again and again simply to hear the running water. Simply stop and enjoy where nature meets history.

Bastionul Graft (a.k.a. Graft Bastion) was part of the defensive system protecting the northwest side of medieval Brasov. It spans a small canal just west of Strada Dupa-Ziduri at the foot of Warthe Hill. It was constructed in 1515-1521 to allow protected access to the White Tower via a bridge that climbs the slope of Warthe Hill. The bastion walls are 4m thick at the base, with two floors and an attic. Shooting holes and machicolations (projecting boxes with holes for dropping stones or pitch) are well preserved. The exterior walls were greatly weakened by a large flood in 1809. The building was renovated in 2005 and is now part of the Brasov Historical Museum, exhibiting weapons, documents and photographs on its second floor. Graft Bastion is open daily from 10am to 6pm (closed Monday) with an entry fee of 7 lei.

This is one of the bastions along the old city walls protecting Brasov. It's located at the bottom of the stairs leading to the White Tower. Nothing to get too excited about, but might be worth a quick visit as you explore this part of the town.

Questo bastione, costeggiato da un ruscello, costituisce una piacevole passeggiata.
Le mura sono abbastanza alte e circondano la parte ovest del centro storico di Brasov

A very old bastion that was part of the defensive system of the old city.Not very impressive, as structure.In addition, it can't be visited, it's closed to visitors.So, the only thing that you can do is to stop for 5 minutes and take a couple of pictures.From this point starts a stone staircase that goes up steeply to the White Tower/ Turnul Alb, another old structure from the former defensive system, also another disappointment for tourists, because it cannot be visited either.
