Overall a very good experience, as it should be for the price!
However, there was one thing that I wanted to comment on. Myself and my wife booked to play the Earth Course (09:30am). When we checked in we were told we would have to play with another 2 ball. No problem with that as we assumed the course was busy. We got to the 1st hole and it was empty in front, we all teed off and started to play. No one came behind until the 3rd and this was a single golfer (1 ball). We let him pass on the par 3 4th, after this there was no one behind till a 2 ball came around the 15th. My question to Jumeirah Golf Estates is why pair 2 x 2 balls when the Course was empty. I am sure both the other guys we played with and my wife and I may / would have had a better experience if we played separately. I must say we did enjoy the company but pairing us was totally unnecessary.
I did talk to the pro shop staff when we came in after 18, but they couldn’t give a reasonable answer to my question to why…. Especially when we paid USD 626 for our 2 ball, which is one if not the most expensive rounds of golf we have played, and we have played round the world!

Inform everyone that they may not finish their round due to light. If you want to charge £250 for a round of golf then ar least have the decency to inform the Customer. Waste of time and will not visit again. Who wants to play golf in the dark. Poor.

Played the earth course on 27/9 was a great day and wonderful experience, course wasn’t in the best shape as they’re readying it for the race to Dubai but it was still superb to play it’s long for the average golfer we played the tournament tees second time we’ve played it your well looked after facilities wise but we also played the Els and Majalis both which we thought were better to play but even so thanks for having us on your lovely course!!

If you come to dubai to play golf, put this on your list. We played the Earth course. It's a gentle meandering drive through a stunning estate to the golf course. A really friendly welcome and explanation of the day ahead. Clubs go one way, you go another to change. All the top pros in the world have lockers in here with their names on. Walk around the corner and clubs on the buggy. Down to the range with is grass based with the standard pyramid of balls. Starter said we could go earlier or later as after 10am is quieter. The course is a mix of many bunkers and water. The 17th is the signature par 3 island green and 18th is a great par 5 with a creek running all the way through. All the course was fantastic. Water bottles supplied at the start and fresh cold water available at every hole. A marshalls buggy comes round with ice lollies every 4 or so holes. Everyone friendly and not up themselves. This is star treatment. Greens were being treated to get ready for DP World tour but still true. Enjoy

This golf club is amazing. Full of beautiful houses and with a great golf course.
There is a club house with a few great restaurants
All of them with view through the golf course
There is free parking
The staff are very welcoming
This is a perfect place to come and relax with a beer

Very simple. There are so many available and not a problem.
Try Dubai taxis , Uber or likely there will be 1 or 2 waiting around .
If you want one during a busy event, either book in advance or check out the public services as sometimes free buses are put on.

Hi, I'm bringing my husband to Dubai as a birthday gift at the beginning of March and he would love to play the Earth course, he's a golf member at a Scottish course and plays off 6. We are travelling as a couple and I don't golf so he'd need to play on his own, can I walk the course with him do you know? Also can he play as a visitor without needing a member to get him on? Apologies for all the questions, just wanted to ask If any members or visitors would know. Thank you! 😊

Hi no problem glad to help, it is a fine course and buggies are the only way to get around, of course you can join him and yes it is possible to play without being a member, however you may end up playing with others
