Tripadvisors tilnærming til anmeldelser

Interesting visit. A little varied offer. It was worth it for the exposure of spices and for the awakening of sensations and olfactory marks.

It is worth visiting as it is a unique experience in cultural terms, however be prepared to dribble the various investments of the vendors who will always be offering something. Eh even hard to stop to look, but it is worth looking with a little more calm some more beautiful store that catches your attention or buy something you are looking for, such as the crack or some special tea. Even in the summer walking through the inner streets of the market is pleasant because of the roof and fans, but be prepared to walk through the outer streets, 10 minutes walk is already sacrificial because of the heat and low humidity of the air. It's not usually a brake that kids appreciate.

This was somewhere high on my priority list because I wanted to be immersed in local culture. This certainly achieved that but is definitely overwhelming. There are lots of stands and the sellers will try any tactic to get you inside including physically grabbing you, steal my husbands hat so he had to go back inside to retrieve it and dressing you up for a picture then trying to convince you to buy it because they already dressed you in it. There are some lovely spices and souvenirs but we preferred to buy from people that let us shop without the harassment. Be really careful visiting if you have anxiety.

I was shocked by the dirt and garbage of the canal from which we were transferred from new dubai to old dubai by boat..
I was disappointed that I went to buy souvenirs and various sweets and they tried to charge me more money.. in dubai this is not what I expected to experience! Caution! It is an area where only Pakistanis live and it is like you have been to India in their filth and passed through the gai river where they have dumped dead bodies... I really don't know why there is such an area in dubai it spoils the whole image of dubai.. also he also had black girls who used to walk the sidewalk at lunchtime!! Don't repair it you really visit you will be disappointed it has nothing to see it is a dirty area with very old shops in which they try to rob you it has nothing to see better to spend your time on something else you will catch cholera and nothing else.

Reachable from Al Fahidi via Abra for 1 dirham.
The souq is a market where you can find everything from spices, dried fruit, perfumes to gold.
You have to know how to bargain and not give in to the first seller.
I do not recommend visiting during the summer periods due to the prohibitive temperatures and during Ramadan due to too many crowds.

It is only worth going because it is culturally a must. But the sellers are very annoying. They get angry if you don't buy from them. You leave overwhelmed. It's time to go take the photo and that's it! This best price in old dubai opposite across the water in abra (boat)

If you came to this market for souvenirs, then leave here. Even taking into account the bargaining it will be too expensive. The prices are inappropriate, designed for a fool.
If you want to buy souvenirs, I recommend Gifts Village (located in approximately the same area).

Never buy anything there, dirty people. We bought 3 spices and a cloth. The employee quoted us a completely different price. He was super friendly, gave us some things as gifts and then took the card and cashed in. When we got to the hotel we saw that he had taken 700 euros from us. Luckily we got the money back from the bank, but of course I was still really upset about how dishonest people are and how they laugh dirty in your face. Never again!!

If you've never visited a souk and you're comfortable with every dealer talking to you and sometimes intruding on you, you've come to the right place.
There are many things to marvel at, but it is also repetitive.
Personally, I liked the souk near the Old City (very close by) better, quieter, more space and pleasant traders.
Lots of small restaurants rounded it off.

This experience was ruined by the constant pestering from stall holders.
We would have loved to be left to browse and I’m sure we would have made a purchase but instead almost every single stall holders asked more than once if you wanted, spices, perfumes, cashmere or designer handbags. It gets exhausting just saying ‘no thank you’ time and time again.

Hello! I have been searching all over (but have been unable to find) the date at which this store/souk was made! Does anyone know the date?
Thank you in advance :)

I am staying in marina?
Which will be the best way to reach the meenra bazzar and souk?
Skrevet 10. mai 2018
We had a rental car the entire time we were in UAE. They had free gps without having to use the data on your cell phone so it was very easy to het around.

Hi
Am planning to visit alone, isit safe for me?
What is the operation hour for the souk?
Skrevet 14. mars 2018
I would say that Dubai in general is a safe place. The souk is very crowded and you will be constantly pestered to buy so be prepared for that. Normal business hours but I would go during the day. Have fun there is plenty to see :)
