Had an amazing time meeting Roger the sea lion. The trainers coco, savannah and Nolan were all excellent and gave us some great information on the sea lions and their background/habitats etc.
Great to see the backstage operation of looking after the sea lions as well with the medical bay, water quality testing and assorted extras that go in to the whole process.
We then did the dolphin experience later in the week. It was an awesome experience

The meet and greet sea lion experience was incredible. The staff and trainers were all so friendly and experienced in what they were doing. All the sea lions and dolphins are looked after so well. The trainers always fulfil the enrichment needs of the sea lions and know exactly how to look after them. This is definitely the experience of a lifetime and is highly recommended.

During a behind-the-scenes tour of Atlantis Dubai’s Aquaventure, we witnessed their deep commitment to animal welfare. Their facilities prioritize health, enrichment, and care for dolphins and fur seals. Beyond providing safe habitats, Aquaventure fosters education, inspiring visitors to care about marine conservation. They also advance scientific research, contributing valuable insights into marine mammal health and behavior. While enclosures are a sensitive topic, Atlantis demonstrates how well-managed facilities can balance animal care, education, and conservation. By supporting such efforts, we promote understanding and protection of marine life, bridging the gap between human curiosity and global conservation needs.
Special thanks to Eri, Coco, Shazir and Noland for their extreme professionalism. To Dr Marina (yes that’s her name!) who fueled my 7-year-old daughter’s dreams of becoming a marine biologist, and of course to the star of the show, Roger the fur seal, for gracing us with hospitality!

Eri was extremely knowledgeable about the South African sea lions , we asked loads of questions and he was happy to answer them all.
The experience itself was amazing and our two yr old was allowed to touch and pet the sea lions as well. We then got to go back stage and see the dolphins as well.

Awesome team and great encounter with the sea lion. The trainer is very knowledgeable and you can see the lab, the kitchen the all sea lion family and also where the Dolphins live

Yes, there is, you can watch the session through a window. Also there will be a photographer during the session and you can buy the pictures after. ( I got all of them, as I loved the experience) The staff are very nice and experienced and I always felt safe. I think your daughter will really enjoy the experience! :)

The sea lion package includes a few ticket to the park with each purchase, so you would only pay for the sea lions and still get to enjoy the other games in the park (excluding the dolphins).
