I spent two weeks at Me Gusta with my partner. We both came with no previous knowledge and our teacher Kiara was excellent with us. She was very patient and explained all the basics to us. We also lived with a host family who was just fantastic. The language school also offers various evening activities such as a city tour or a cooking class. We really enjoyed our time and were able to learn a lot.

Amazing Spanish class! Worked with me to find an appropriate level of Spanish class. Unbeatable price and with amazing teachers who tailored classes to my level and needs. Everyone was so nice and approachable! Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their Spanish while also having a good time. Also had a great time meeting my classmates and other travelers!

Just had a wonderful 3 weeks at Me Gusta Spanish School. Luz and Claudia were fantastic teachers - very patient and dedicated and I have learnt so much. All the other staff were great too and the time went so quickly. I had a Homestay with Marelene and her daughters and felt welcome and at home. Staying with the family definitely helped my Spanish too. The whole experience was exceptional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

live and learn Spanish! amazing community to do it all: from just starting out to refining skills to a full immersion and fluency. our family of 4, (2 kids ages 12 and 14) traveled all over South America for 6 months in 2023 and the absolute highlight of our trip was the month we spent with Me Gusta. honored with a family stay that was above and beyond comfortable. treated as family and included in all activities with the school and the family. easy walk to school and main square, lovely cafes and ice cream, local events. VERY SAFE even for our kids to walk on their own. from knowing nothing, in just 3 weeks, both kids absorbed so much they were able to test into advanced Spanish when we returned to the US. Sucre is an incredible small colonial mountain town with a very friendly community. lots of sun and cool nights. Altitude similar to our home in Colorado. beautiful white buildings. Sunday chess in the main square, local markets. so many local trips to explore as well. if you are looking for a place to hang for a little or a long while, this is by far the best around and well worth it. the quality of the education program is stellar and not cookie cutter like the other schools across SA- this is a one of a kind specially created program to learn and speak and live Spanish. morning lesson in the class (we did small group to large group and privates as well) but always included a field trip to a local store/restaurant to practice skills. weekly cooking class (thank you Marleni!) all teachers are highly trained and experienced. thank you to Claudia, Paula, Becky, Andrea, Jhos, and everyone at Me Gusta. we very highly recommend Me Gusta for Spanish school and a family stay. they take such good care of their students, just like family.

I had 3 weeks of lessons at Me Gusta and loved all my teachers - Carly, Luz, Becky and Jhosmar. The school is very well organized and learning materials excellent. The school organises activities at night which are fun. Sucre is such a beautiful city and I always felt safe there. I also did a Homestay and my host family were so kind and caring and went to a lot of effort to assist my learning. My room was amazing and my family very patient with my basic Spanish. I wish I could of stayed longer ❤️🇧🇴

Me Gusta was incredible! The lessons were structured really well, all the teachers and staff were so pleasant and the organised activities such as walleyball were so much fun. I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of taking Spanish lessons, I did a week and it helped so much for the rest of my travels in South America. Thank you Me Gusta! ❤️

Such a friendly and welcoming place to learn Spanish.
Fun, interactive and informative classes made our two weeks here so great. No questions or amount of ‘no entiendo’s put off the teachers and I learnt a lot.
The extra activities were also fun (try the wally ball on a Wednesday night and traditional dance show on Friday night).
Thanks to all the staff and teachers at Me Gusta! 🙏🏼

Great Spanish school. My lessons were all in Spanish and we had lots of opportunities to practice speaking so it was very practical learning, not just grammar books all the time. I also stayed with Elizabeth and Fernando’s family for the week which was a lot of fun and a great way to get that extra bit of immersion in the language.
Would very strongly recommend, they know how to teach Spanish here!

I would really recommend Me Gusta spanish school! I studied with them for 2 weeks in March with a different teacher each week. The school's way of teaching is really interesting, with different activities in and out of the classroom to keep things interesting and to challenge you. Beautiful city to learn spanish in. Reasonable prices too!
