A Friendly and Adventurous Driver - Vannen Meach

Siem Reap is filled with many places that one can only see from movies like Tomb Raider or Indiana Jones. I was able to visit almost all of the larger UNESCO temples including the further Koh Ker and Prasat Preah Khan thanks to Mr. Vannen Meach assigned to my family by Mr. Vantha.

Vannen is a responsible and careful driver. The roads has no lights at night, and random animals will run out to road in split seconds. He is also adventurous and accommodating as he made extra efforts to ensure that my difficult itinerary was served and even suggested extra destinations that he knew I would have liked to visit when given extra time.

Unlike most drivers who would wait in the car, he went to several sites with us and serve as our guide as well as our photographer. He is fun and spoke good English. He explained historical accounts well and is a very good conversationalist, so there wasn't a need to hire additional tour guide for us. He would also help assist my elderly parents whenever they crossed difficult terrains.

Overall, my family and I truly enjoyed the adventure and would like to thank him for taking care of us for the days we met. I would also like to thank Vantha for the excellent recommendation!

A very safe and enjoyable trip

We enjoyed the whole trip a lot. Mr. Blue is a very reliable driver. The tour provided two tour guides for us in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Both of them are very knowledgeable and very accomodative to our demands. If you are planning a trip to Cambodia, you won't get wrong with Angkor Friendly Driver.

Another excellent experience in Cambodia

I used Angkor Friendly Driver when I visited Siem Reap in 2019 so upon returning in 2022 I did not hesitate to enlist his services again.

Taking in a very similar itinerary to the last time, my driver Mr Engley could not do enough to make my visit memorable and ensured I got to see everything I wanted to at a pace that suited me.

Mr Vantha personally called me to ensure everything was satisfactory

As the tourists start to return to Cambodia post COVID, please don't bother with the large out of country tour operators. Cambodia has plenty of local tour operators who will do whatever it takes to make your trip memorable like Mr Vantha. Please give them your business. You will get far better value from somebody who genuinely wants to give you the best trip possible,

Excellent driver and tour, cannot recommend enough!

Mr Vantha is extremely friendly, kind and helpful, tailoring our tour to exactly what we wanted to visit. Mr Vantha is a very safe driver with lots of knowledge about all of the temples, and we cannot recommend him enough! The cold water and fresh lemongrass cold towels were such a thoughtful touch and very welcomed in the heat! Thank you for such a great time!

Best way of visiting the temples

Oak was our English speaking driver and he was great. We didn’t have plans the day before we got there and I emailed the owner and he set us up quickly. He was so responsive and made it such an amazing experience. Oak picked us up from the airport at 7:30am, took us to our hotel to drop off stuff, then drove us around the temples. He was kind, polite and smart. He had cold bottles of water for us after each temple. We didn’t know where to eat and we took all of his suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all were great! If you’re going to see the temples this is the way to do it! Oak dropped us off at the front of each temple and would pick us up on the other side if possible. Absolutely would recommend this.

We took a tour with Mr Vantha last year and it was so good that we used his services again this year.He is a very safe driver and knows his job well.He is friendly,polite and full of information.He is always ready to provide you with ice cold water and cold cloths soaked in lemongrass water.His English is good and its easy to have a good conversation with him.Next time we are Siem Reap we will take him again.

Private tour! Super super experience! Highly recommended!

We booked a 3 day tour with Mr. Vantha. On the first day he was not available, but he organized a great driver for us, with whom we visited the temples of a tuk tuk. We also had Mr. Sambar with a great guide!
Everyone was always very nice, provided us with fresh, cool drinks and chilled towels.
We highly recommend it, had a blast!

Best Service in Cambodia!

My friend and I hired Angkor Friendly Driver for a one-day mini tour. I cant stress enough how glad we were that we did! Mr. Vantha was SO friendly, professional, thoughtful and thorough. He truly went above and beyond what we would have ever expected from a driver. He arrived on time (early actually), shared interesting facts about Angkor Wat and its history, encouraged us to take our time throughout the day, tailored the tour based on what we were hoping to see, had ice cold bottled water ready and waiting for us after every stop, along with a cold towel. I am loving this country, large in part due to awesome and welcoming people like Mr. Vantha! Thank you again so much!

Best day trip ever!

We did a one day tour of the temples of Angkor Wat on a recommendation of Angkor friendly drivers from friends and had the best day! Mr Vantha was so knowledgeable about all the temples so we didn’t even need a tour guide! Always with water and cold towels when we were ready to move on as it was a very very hot day. Would definitely do it again!

Angkor Wat 2days trip
