Love to climb mountain and going up the Phoenix Hill was quite an experience. View from the top was good and there are huge boulders.
The best time to go will be early in the mourning when its not really hot and humid.
It will be dangerous to climb up/down if its raining as some places the trail is steep.

I am not a mountain goat. Yet, it seems to me that all of the parks in China consist of climbing up and up, then down, and then up. As with all of the parks, they are well paved, well maintained, and rather pretty. This is a lush place filled with plants and fresh but humid air.
I have a theory. In China all the flat land is taken for farms, roads, and houses. Thus, the inaccessible places were left alone. They left and stood isolated. As China grew and and it's population became more prosperous, there came the need for public attractions. Thus the local governments started to improve these isolated and difficult to reach locations. For they were truly difficult to reach.
When you enter this park, the first thing you need to do is climb. You can then climb. Once you have climbed, you will see a small bench. Use it. Because then you can go and climb some more. Then there are about five more series of ascents. Once at the top, it is relatively flat with some dips and minor climbs. There are some nice stone plazas at the top to do some resting at, or exercises. Then you can continue downward off the hill.
My poor little dog came home and lay down on the floor in an exhausted state, while I just stared bleary eyed at the dinner before me. This is not a casual walk. It is good for families, and ambitious couples in good health. I saw grandmothers and grandfathers climb up and down without problem. So I guess that it is ok for people of all ages. But I would avoid it if you are not fit, overweight, old or feeble.

凤凰山挺荒的，还没有完全被人工化，山上很多野草野树和漂亮的小野花，不建议一个人来爬山，因为路程比较长，而且叉路较多，一个人的话，可能不是很安全。几个人一起爬山，做做运动锻炼身体还是不错的，鸟语花香的，会让你的心情变得好起来。

珠海凤凰山连绵起伏,可以从不同的地方登山,同时也可以从不同的地方下山,青山的环抱,登山发烧友可带上行装,在山间漫步!

珠海凤凰山对于爬山爱好者来说是不错的选择，我个人觉得凤凰山不算很高，但看起来却比较陡，上山的路都是人走出来的，而不是像一些山那样经过人工制造的。而且凤凰山每年在山顶都会举行“英雄大会”，不止鼓励人不放弃地往上爬，更是一个具有环保意义的活动，在上山过程中还要带上垃圾袋，把沿途的垃圾捡起来。所以，凤凰山的环境还算干净的，那里的泉水也很清凉，很多人会用大桶把泉水装回家自己饮用。

难得的爬山，手机易无信号，可以好煅炼体能，风景不错，空气更fresh!近美丽的校园区，还经过珠海出名的赛车场，不可以开车走山路哦~~

因为学校就在凤凰山脚下，所以不止一次登上凤凰山，凤凰山其实是一群山脉，游人一般到达的只是其中的一小部分，有普陀寺等人文景观，在本来就景色宜人的珠海，这里的自然风光自不必说。
