Very nice park with a lot of Russian style buildings. Paid for one stage show when the second stage show was almost the same and free!

A bit out of the way so recommend to hire a car unless you are with a tour group. Place was still closed early Jan but open to visit, you just cannot go into most of the buildings. We spent roughly two hours walking the park and seeing all the main architecture. Everything was covered in snow, and blue sky made for a great winter landscape.

Me and my fiance came here as part of a tour group. And I have to say this place was definitely on top of our list for best places we visited in Harbin during our 1 week stay. It's a bit far from the main area of Harbin so getting a tour group is reccomend to drive you there and back. The price of the theme park was 150¥ Kuai and included a decent Russian lunch meal.
The Manor itself is nice and beautiful and offers a very exciting ice slide. And nearby is also a small hill for anyone wanting to learn how to ski. There is a Russian Vodka museum with a cool and very beautiful underground bar. The employees here were all helpful and nice. For the price of 150¥ paid to the tour group it included the bus ride there and back, 3-4 hours to see everything and lunch I highly reccomend this place to visit. We went during non peak times on a Wednesday.

One of must visit attraction if you go harbin, china. Overall harbin is an amazing place at north East china. Volga manor locate around 30 minutes from city center. You can feel european taste in china mainland. Buildings, museum, food, culture. Overall its a great place to visit.
Note : ive been in china 3 times without tour guide. Not recommended for most people. Language will become a huge problem. You need vpn to access internet. Prepare well. Its recommend to you to rent a car when you visit harbin. The most recommended place to visit is china snow town and ice festival.

Totally loved Volga Manor. It is like a Russian village. Lovely to stroll around. Lots of photography opportunities. Huge area though so be prepared to walk. You are free to visit all houses if they are open. There are restaurants too. Went in for coffee in one of them. Lovely architecture but I loved the trees in the snow. And ice on the tree branches. It would be great to stay a night though if they have programs for the guests.

An incredible place to wonder around and get lost for a few hours. Got a Didi here from centre of Harbin, you drive down some random rural streets but is totally worth the hour journey. The Russian buildings, crisp snow, miles of open space offer some peace and tranquility away from normal life! Only down side was that is was hard to get a hot cup of coffee, which was much needed on such a cold day! Highly recommend visiting, probably my favourite part of Harbin!

The hotel was inside the complex of gardens built like Russians. Perhaps we arrived after the high tourist season of 2019. There were not much tourist in the hotel. We were the only guest of their restaurant serving typical Russian foods. The food in fact was pretty tasty and well served.

Everythingvwas so fine! The food, the room, the surrounding. All were excellent; The weather was mesmerizing cold. It was fun going there.

Although parts were closed during our visit we had an amazing time here. The tubing was so much fun. The scenery is stunning. The vodka tasting was great. We also got to pat the horses and goats.

확실히 여름보단 겨울이 훨씬 멋있을 것 같네용 눈으로 뒤덮인 채 드넓게 펼쳐진 숲도 인상적이었고, 여기저기 자리한 러시아풍 건물들도 그곳의 분위기와 어울렸어요! 처음에 다 스키여행 패키지로 오길래 그냥 건물만 보러오는 게 아니었나 싶어서 당황했는데, 마을 둘러보는 것만으로도 충분히 가치 있었습니다 :)
물론 하루 정도 묵을 수 있었다면 더 좋았겠지만요!
대중교통으로 여행하시는 분들은 여기로 오는 길이 험난하다는 거 염두에 두시길ㅠㅠ버스 여러 번 환승해서 가거나 돈 좀 주고 택시 타거나 둘 중 하나인 것 같습니다! 하얼빈 시내에서 몇몇 정해진 곳, 유명한 곳들만 둘러보기 지루하시다면 한 번 쯤 시도해보세요 ㅎㅎ
물론 하루 정도 묵을 수 있었다면 더 좋았겠지만요!

May i know what is the best way to get to Volga Manor. We are on a free and easy trip to Harbin next week.
Came across many reviewed that booking a taxi for the whole day will be easier. Any idea what is the price like?

Hi.
Yes you can book taxi (DIDI APP) from center center ( MYCAL SHOPPING CENTER OR IBIS HOTEL) up to 65 to 70 yuan It will cost for one way. But if you want to go by PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION best to choose Apple map or GOOGLE MAPS type volgamanor directly from your location and it will show all possibilities like bus numbers and your direction to bus Stops but make sure once you choose public transportation you may have to walk little bit (kilometers)from last stop to VOLGA MANOR MAIN GATE or if you get any local cab which you get at the same place where you get off from the bus you can hire them up to volga manor. Thankyou

No its rare to get DIDI (up to ur luck if u got one 😊) but at exit point you will get many taxi or cars they will ask you, if you are agree they will drop you where ever you want.
I got one and paid 100元 to zhongyang jie near IBIS HOTEL. (while coming to volga manor with DIDI i paid 64 i think) thanks

I didn't see any wheel chair friendly paths, especially as we went in december. everything was covered in snow. it was beautiful and sledding was fun but i don't think anybody wheel chair bound would get around easily.

We are a couple with a baby and a big luggage. Plan to stay a night at Volga Manor. How much does taxi cost for one way from Ibis hotel to Volga Manor?
Is there any day-tour to Volga Manor which I can take but I prefer not to return with them? I will return the next day. How can I find transportation back to Harbin?

I will try to help, but admit up front I can't remember all exact details.
I want to say the range for taxi driving was 100, maybe 125, one way. (Please keep the mind open, though, as that was a different season.)
When I was ready to return, I simply went to the parking lot. This was mid- to late afternoon. I found drivers available, though not many. For a better deal I was able to ride with two others. I was still charged around 100.
I did see plenty of buses, though I'm not sure if any were for independent travelers, or if all were with tour groups.
You may have an advantage for the return by wanting to depart at the time others are arriving - you just have to determine when that time might be.
I don't know about the day tour, as I went solo and wandered on my own. (Personally, I don't see that a tour is necessary, except, perhaps, for travel.)
Sorry I'm not more exact, but hopefully it will give you a clue or two.

Rencana ke sana Jan 2018 nanti. Saya mo travel like locals, I mean travel on foot or by bus/train. Taxi will be Z option for me.

It took one and a half hour at least to reach Volga Manor by taxi from central Harbin. It's more convenient because as I know there's only one bus in the morning and one bus in the afternoon, I don't know the bus details though.
