DISGUSTING. please note it is not worth going here. Very dirty indeed. Sister got very ill with smell and dirt. Bracelets not worth looking at as terrible. Hotel should have been honest. Please do not go

Esta torre fortificada, con sus vistas privilegiadas sobre los mercados de las calles adyacentes, es el lugar apropiado para tomarle el pulso a la ciudad vieja.

Have been visiting this landmark and the neighbourhood since decades now and recently visited it on 22nd October 2023. The hustle bustle of the traffic the chaos which is all a part of the neighbourhood. About the history of this place,The Charminar ( lit. 'four minarets') is a monument located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Constructed in 1591, the landmark is a symbol of Hyderabad. Charminar is famous for its intricate architecture, which makes it one of the most recognized structures of India. The surrounding Laad Bazaar and the 400 years old mosque on the top floor of Charminar make it famous amongst locals as well as the tourists. It could be maintained in a better state by whoever is concerned as it could be more clean and seen that it’s protected from miscreants and vendors who just have free access to this place !

Historical CHARMINAR is the centre of attraction in Hyderabad.
It is located in the midst of buzzing bazars.
It is a simple structure containing four minarets.
There are there are stairs with narrow & steep steps.
In the upper floor one can see archways leading to balconies overlooking all four sides. These balconies provide beautiful views.
Local culture is visible from the structure.
The structure loses its worth due to the poor maintenance.
In view of the steepness of the steps older people & those with knee issues will have difficulty in climbing the stairs.
Though it is treated as a mosque it doesn’t look like one.
Congested location makes the visit all the more difficult.
One can visit here only to cherish the history and the view from here.

Charminar is now getting too much filled with people, it's always very busy, and no proper management team is there. people are fighting over and over to reach a certain place, The stairs are very very steep if you want to climb to the top, the view is like, you are watching people everywhere. wherever your eyes turn you will see the crowd. Many staircases are closed due to maintenance, many rooms are closed, yes it's a famous spot in Hyderabad other than that I will not say it is a must-visit.

A fantastic structure. Ab it crowded as we went on a weekend. Also we climbed up to the top of it. Steps are steep and bit congested while climbing and getting down.

App taxi like ola n uber and call taxi in hyderabad like white cabs in hyderabad, both are same the only difference is the tariff, if you have time than call taxi is good.

In telangana RTCPR report is not mandatory at both the locations airport and Railway station. Rules may get change time to time and also the base location from where you are plaaning to travel. So better to check before starting.

no ideal time - but evening is cooler.
it seemed like it always was congested - but three- wheeler or uber gets you there and back.
There was a long queue to ascend the tower - so we didn't bother.
Yes shops abound - but bear in mind much of the stuff sold didn't see to be of the best quality.
