This is a short drive from Chesma Shahi garden. I'd suggest to skip Chesma Shahi and visit this garden. There is a bit of walking and climbing involved. If you have senior citizens, would recommend to have them seated at one of the lovely views of the city. The road to this place is narrow and as the number increases, there could be a traffic jam. There's no one to regulate traffic. Go early and visit this place first instead of Chesma Shahi.

This is the last garden in otherway from Shalimar and Nishant Garden. On this route there are Nehru Botnical Garden and Chesma shahi. It is a 5 minutes’ drive from Chesma Shahi through a narrow forest road. As the road is behind the Governor’s house, so you have to get down from the cab at one point, frisked and if you have any luggage it will be scanned. Then you can sit and reach Parimahl. It is a 7 terraced garden. Basically ancient mahals at each layer with a little garden. The higher you climb the stiff stairs more is the beauty. Entry ticket is Rs.24/- per person.

Beautiful views of Srinagar including the Dal Lake and the golf course, but ensure to visit early to avoid crowds. Climbs across different levels are very easy. Can be combined with a visit to Chashme Shahi

Very beautiful gardens, from which you have a beautiful view of Dal Lake and Srinagar. The grounds are very well maintained. The atmosphere in the garden is also very relaxing, a counterbalance to the hustle and bustle of Srinagar.

During my Tarsar Marsar Trek many people recommended this Pari Mahal because of its views. So we decided to visit this place positively during our time in Srinagar. We hired a scooty for one day and decided to roam in Srinagar. We had to cross Chashme Shahi on our way before reaching a beautiful forested road which led us to Pari Mahal. We parked our vehicle near the entrance, got our tickets and entered the complex. The gardens are spread across various layers with a beautiful mahal in each layer. It is believed that Emperor Shah Jahan's son Dara Shiko had lived here for some time. The view of the Dal Lake and the surrounding hills from the garden were just awesome. We clicked some awesome photos from here. Unfortunately the day was a super sunny one and the heat dampened our mood to a great extent. So most of the time we rested in the shade of the trees in the garden. I would have loved it if the weather was a bit cooler and we could have explored the place with a bit of ease.
We sat for quite some time, took some nice shots and then left the place. We also saw a small hiking root towards the right of the entrance. We would have loved to explore that but the heat made us decide otherwise. If you are in Srinagar during the summers, try to visit the Pari Mahal during the sunset so that you can beat the heat.

Is it safe to visit Srinagar and nearby tourist placs in first week of April for weather point of view
Skrevet 27. mars 2016
Hi,
Normally the tourist places you will be visiting are safe so far. If you hire a tourist taxi from good travel agent, the car driver will advice you if there are any weather warning by Met dept - around the places you wish to visit. Happy holidays.

Hi,
I want to know the distance between the pari mahal and dal lake and how to reach there from Dal lake.
Thanks
Skrevet 4. mai 2015
from Dal lake,Parimahal is barely few kms. as it depends on which Gate(Ghat)u start from, from farthest it could be 5kms at max. Shankaracharya Hill,Nehru Gardens,Parimahal,Mughal Gardens,Chashma Shahi,Nishat Baag,Shalimar,Tulip Garden, all are on the same road ringing Dal Lake.
