I should preface this by saying that we visited O-World just to see the Nightscape, which is being held during the summer months, where everything is festooned with fairy lights, the fountains dance on the lake and, at 9.30pm each evening, there is a firework display.
We are two couples, sixties and thirties, so going for the sights, sounds and photo opportunities; if with young children, then there are would be so much more to enjoy, as the impression is that this theme part is very much aimed at elementary school aged children and their families.
That said, it was all very charming, lots of twinkly avenues to walk down, hanging lights and 'light' models to pose next to, dancing fountains to Disney tunes and, of course, the fireworks display. This only lasted three minutes, but was noisy and smoky and impressive.
Even with one of us getting a Senior discount, I did feel that 36,000 KrW was quite pricey for the experience we had. We were only going in for a couple of hours at night and perhaps if we had gone for a longer, daytime experience, we might have felt we had got our money's worth. Certainly, if prices for children are keen, then families would find it better value.

This place is definitely one of those areas you want to visit in the spring. Cherry blossoms start blooming end of March and the tulips are just popping up. The animal park was fun too. The bears love those treats. Don’t miss bird land and visit the Lorikeets. Definitely recommend you show up in afternoon after crowds start dieing down. I saw the whole park and did everything except rides. 2-3 hours is enough to hit the highlights, but I recommend at least 4. If you have more time, you can spend the whole day here riding the rides. All inclusive ticket=29000₩ Adult ticket for all sites=12000₩ Safari ticket=6000₩ I bought the adult ticket and safari ticket to enjoy all the animal sites. Bring 1000₩ bills for feeding the animals. There are many vending machines with food for almost all the animals. That was super fun! Good luck and have fun!

We took our children 3, 4 and 6. They loved it. It was around $60 for the five of us which was cheaper than we expected. Try to do the safari early. By the time we realized where the safari line was it was so long that we decided to skip it. We spent about 5 hours doing rides and seeing the animals. We didn't make it over to the flower and bird part. It's a place we'd go back to.

大田の代表的な観光スポットであるオーワールドは熊、ライオン、トラなどの約136種920点の動物を飼育している「ジューランド」、色とりどりの花々が見られる広い公園の「フラワーランド」、遊園地の「ジョイランド」、鳥をテーマに造成された「バードランド」で構成されています。

서울에 있는 언니네가 온다고 하는데 대전에서 아이들과 놀 곳으로 가장 괜찮은 곳이 <대전오월드>라서 방문했어요.
요새 코로나19로 실내는 거의 폐쇄 상태이기도 하고 실내는 걱정이어서 선택했지요.
한참 튤립꽃이 예쁘게 피어있어서 좋았어요.
어제 뉴스에 보니 한국토종늑대 3세대가 태어났다는 뉴스를 보았네요. 일반인들에게도 잠시 관람을 할 수 있도록 한다고 하네요.
놀이기구, 버드랜드, 사파리, 각종 동물들을 볼 수 있어서 재미나게 놀다 왔답니다.
대전에 오시면 한번 들려보세요.

We visited around afternoon till closing time 6pm. We only purchased the entrance ticket (without rides) and subsequently purchased a ride on the safari separately when we wanted to see the lions, elephant and zebras only in that session. But we didn’t find it worth but you get to see standing bears trying to wait for rewards from the bus (that drive inside). The ride in that safari bus is about 5-7mins. Too short for the amount we paid.
Flowers sections according to the staff during November there’s nothing to see.
We took bus there and bus back from hotel nearby bus stop.
Not all area are up when we visited. Some area like seal session was closed but not mentioned in the map. There is no English map when we requested for one.
Some Xmas decors are up while some Halloween still being taken up when we visited.

놀이기구만 따졌을 때는 실망하실 순 있습니다.
놀이기구 수준이 서울,용인에 롯데월드와 에버랜드보다는 낮기 때문입니다. 다만 풍경과 사파리 동물들 보러가기에는 딱 좋은 듯 싶어요.
사진찍기도 괜찮습니다. 대전에 가면 꼭 한번내지 두번은 가야할 장소 같습니다.

I was a beautiful day, and the flowers were in bloom. A lot of people, but l was surprised at the number of animals there. We had lunch, which was nothing special, but not horrible either. A great place to take young children on a weekend.

1. 평일에 가서 그런지 사람이 없어서 바로바로 타서 좋았어요. 후룸라이드랑 와일드스톰은 오후되니까 줄서서 타긴했지만 재밌었어요. 후룸라이드 타는데 손잡이 쪽에서 냄새가 좀 났습니다;;
2. 사파리 설명해주시는 아저씨 입담이 재밌었어요. 버스가 가는 방향 기준 왼쪽에 타면 사자랑 호랑이 가까이서 볼 수 있어요.
3. 버드랜드, 플라워랜드. 쥬랜드 등 볼게 많아서 좋았어요. 사파리랑 동물원은 별도로 구성되어있어요. 수달있는쪽에 이끼, 비린내 빼곤 괜찮았습니다.

There r 2 kinds of fees: just entry and free ticket(entry+attractions).
just entry : 12000(adults), 7000(-18yrs & over 65yrs), 5000(-12yrs, not exactly)
free ticket : 29000, 23000 and 20000 respectively.
p.s. in winter season, they are much cheaper than normal fees, since no attractions.
How much are the tickets? Is there a family ticket and can it be booked in advance?

There are a range of prices depending on what you want to experience: safari, flower land, bird land, zoo land, amusement park. There are several prices for an individual or groups listed. The time of day, season and scheduled events have different prices as well. I went to the website to check pricing in English and was able to price my trip easily. I did not find online purchasing option. We bought tix at the entrance gate booths. Have a good time!
