Typically a place for tea and matcha lovers.
I find the variety of tea is unique and it is not available anywhere.
It also sells biscuits, cakes, chocolate, nuts with a blend of matcha.
Though the products are expensive, the taste is very different from others.
It also have a restaurant and observation floor to view the tea plantation outside the building.
We noticed the tourists really come and purchase stuff like money grows on trees !
Remember to claim the VAT at the airport with the purchase receipts. The staff actually remains you to claim too.

To be honest I found this a little bit overrated. This is a brand that's pretty well associated with Jeju globally, and so it's the sort of place you sort of "have to" visit, but not really. Not if you're especially a fan of their teas. Having said that, it's not bad. There's a cafe with some really photogenic drinks and cakes which taste decent. And if you need to buy gifts this is a great place to get them.

What an amazing place! We took a tour and although the young lady couldn't speak English, we managed to get some of the information translated. We were taken to an exclusive tour and sample some gorgeous and tasty desserts with different teas. Then, we got to create our own (albeit tiny) blend of teas to take with us. The buildings are beautiful, and you must have dessert. Those desserts are even more impressive and super delicious. Of course you'll want to take home some of their tea. Walk around and look at the beauty of the place and take advantage of the photo opportunities among the tea plants.

Il n'y a pas de musée juste une petite décoration. Si l'on n'arrive pas à l'heure de la démonstration/dégustation la seule alternative est d'acheter des cosmétiques ou de déguster des pâtisseries succulentes mais totalement hors de prix. Cela ne vaut certes pas le détour, ce n'est que tu business! On se demande comment les tours opérateurs osent l'inclure dans un circuit!

I visited with my friends from abroad. It's crowded but pleasant. There are many delicious green tea desserts. It's also good for buying gifts.

Unfortunately on the day of our visit it was terribly wet and windy, from the carpark to the O'Sulloc buildings we had to make a quick dash, no time to experience the outdoors or walk through the tea plantation. Like all the other visitors we made a bee line for the gift stores and one of two restaurants on-site. While it was cold outside we still all manage to enjoy a serve of ice-cream. On a sunny day I'm sure a visit here would be more enjoyable.

Not as much of a museum as a breathtaking botanical garden center! So many pretty plants as well as shops, a cafe, and a small tea making exhibit! The cafe was delicious and featured many hallabong (a native jeju orange) and matcha snacks and drinks! We personally enjoyed the matcha soft serve and the hallabong freedo! The shops consist of skincare brand Innisfree, soap making kits, and a few other goodies! The main tea making exhibit has a few teas for sale and we even got a free sampler packet! The exhibit shows how the tea is made as well as having small samples of the tea in paper cups. The exhibits mostly have Korean accompanied by English! Another special part of this exhibit is the huge tea field! Very pretty! Also throughout the whole “museum” there are huge and colorful hydrangeas! You should definitely go here, even, like me, you are not a huge tea lover!

I have half a day (approx 4 hours) on my departure date from Jeju this April and was wondering how much a taxi would cost me from my hotel in downtown (near Black Pork Street) to O'Sulloc Tea Museum. Ideally I would like to take a taxi that would wait for me and take me directly to the airport after visiting the museum. Any suggestions?

Hi, I would like to take a taxi from Lotte Hotel Jeju. Anyone know how far it is and whether there will be any taxi from the tea museum back ? Thanks

Its 20-30 minutes by car. The Museum was fairly crowded and a popular tourist destination (lots of tour buses stop there.) I would guess that a taxi would be fairly easy to catch from that location. You might be able to get someone from the tea museum store or the Innisfree store (right next door) to assist you with calling a cab. But I would not count on a cab just waiting for you there. I had my own car and cannot confirm. But can tell you that the stop is well worth it. Probably my favorite stop on Jeju.
