This course prides itself as being the "most relaxing golf experience" in Phuket. This was certainly our experience. The views/scenery were spectacular. It's a short course but it does provide interesting challenges. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 Stars is the quality of the greens. These were easily the slowest greens we've ever played on. I'm not sure if that's by design but I think the quality of golf could be improved just by rolling the greens a bit more. Would love to come back here some day.

Refer to greens may slower than normal due to the team leave prepare for greens aeration in the next day after you play then they not make a speed.

a very relaxing course. water comes in to play on most every hole especially if you have a tendency to go to the right. caddies are great. locker rooms are clean showers are hot and over all it is a nice relaxing course to play.

The course when we played wasn't quite as picturesque as the photos due to the low water levels at the start of the wet season.
The greens were patchy in places and very inconsistent. BUT the caddies were just fantastic highly recommend them. We had some laughs and also their knowledge was a big help even though I didn't play well. The carts were a bit old and tired and did not have an esky on them for ice.
Ne and Yu were our caddies.🙏

Years ago when MBK took over this golf and renovated, it became a wonderful golf.
The only default was (and still is) to have two different kinds of green.
But when I played this year I discovered the course has shrunken !
Some holes has been drastically modified, losing land and logic.
Shorted, and full of garbage.
As soon as you leave the fairways and approach the hazards or the jungle, you will find plastic bags, plastic bottles, glass bottles, polystyrene bowls, papers, etc...
Probably the people working for the maintenance, after drinking or having meals, just through everything in the surrounding.
Garbage bins are available every tee, but used only by players.
The golf management should educate the staff to use the bins, and encourage the caddies to collect the garbage....
Red Mountain is almost the same.

Thank you for your review and share your point of view.
Refer to your information about the garbage is very annoy us as well as some part of the golf course connecting to the out side through the canal, many area have many labor who work for construction living and always throw the garbage in the canal as we cannot stop them, when raining then the garbage always flow passing the golf course and our team continue clean it but its never finish if still have some one throw it into the water and flow to the golf course. Hope you more understanding that our staff not the one who throw this garbage.

Good course - with one of the best caddies in thailand.
Course is decent - some areas might do with a little extra maintenance but overall well worth the green fee.
Whats really outstanding is the Caddy (Nr. 82 - Minniey) - what a gem - not only knowledgable - got some of the best reads on the greens from her - but also incredibly fun to be around. She really takes service seriously.
The course wouldnt be half as fun to play without her.
Big shoutout

Despite some of the tinkering with the layout (particularly the back nine), this course still plays nicely and is certainly a course for all levels being quite a short track but also a tough one with plenty of water to avoid. Greens were outstanding and ran fast and true. Caddies also very good, glad to see everything in Phuket bouncing back after the tourism shutdowns of 2020-2021

Der Platz hat ein schönes Layout in einer tollen Umgebung (neben Red Mountain). Ärgerlich sind die Greens - zum Teil sehr langsam und andere eher schnell. Die Drivingrange war bei unserem Besuch in einem miserablen Zustand. Unsere Caddies waren unbrauchbar, aber es gibt sicher auch hier bessere.

It is a pity that golf is so extremely expensive in Phuket. The course is average but poor for what you pay. If you get a cart you cannot share with your partner, the cart is for you and your caddy! We would have loved to go back for a golfing holiday to Phuket but for those prices there are much better options elsewhere.

We have a various choice for the golfers to play golf with special offer such as the best price is stay & play package at our hotel located opposite of the Clubhouse and just 100 meters by walking to tee-off, the other choice is booking via our online web site as offer a good price as well, the other choice is package two courses as many golfers enjoy it and the other favorite choice for 60% of golfers is buy the package from agency as offer transportation and etc.

The stay at the hotel is peaceful and serene, I made an early tee time to play golf with my girlfriend. I was told that my girlfriend couldn't come with me unless she pays a greenfee even though she simply asked to tag along with me in the cart. Second, they won't let you play without hiring a Cady. Third, they didn't let me hit golf balls at the range before hand. Last, they didn't let me play because my shoes were "unsafe". It was so ridiculous that I had to laugh and they decided it wasn't a day for me to enjoy some golf at Loch Palm GC. Disappointed.

We would like to extend our sincere apologies for the unpleasant situation at Loch Palm Golf Club. We would like to clarify and make more understanding as follows:-
1. Golf course have the package for hotel guests and the club rules have the accompanying fee as allow non golfer follow the golfer during play golf but subject to follow the club rules and have caddies drive the cart for follower, the reason is the follower don’t know how to stop or drive the cart in the golf course and the safety rules very important as if stop or drive in the direction of golf ball can have a serious injury from the golf ball.
2. Club rules compulsory the caddies as same as other golf courses in Thailand.
3. The course reserve driving range for golfer who plays golf on the day only but if the customer would like to practice at putting green is no objection but the customer must have own equipment.
4. Golf Dress Code is compulsory in standard golf course.
We have also discussed at length with the front staff insisting that similar incident do not recur and make sure that the customer understand the reason why cannot reach their expectation.

First time back here since some changes were made to the layout and whilst they still have some tidying up to do, the course plays nicely. Most of the changes are on the back nine where they’ve removed what used to be the 17th and put the new par-3 11th in its place. The 13th was a tough par 4, now an accessible par-5 14th and the 18th switches from a par-5 to a par-4. What hasn’t changed I’m glad to say is the warm welcome and hospitality both in the clubhouse and on the course. Wishing everyone at LPGC the best during these tough times as I know that the course (along with pretty much everything else on Phuket) has shut down for the whole of April at least.

- Golf balls is various and start from THB300 for pack of 3 golf balls or you can buy used ball as pack of 10 golf balls start from THB100 and depend on the quality.
